"Professor Hardrial."

They both greeted him back, and he walked inside.

"Haha, you didn’t co yesterday, Louis. Did you go to watch the race?" He asked casually.

Louis nodded. "Yes, professor. I was out for a while because of that."

"Hahaha, that’s okay. Young people should go out and have fun." He spoke. "I have a surprise for you today, which is not so much of a surprise."

"A surprise?"

"Well, it’s simple." He suddenly pulled out two badges and handed them to them. These badges had a number inscribed on them.

23 and 24.

"Ascended Tournant badges? You want us to..." Laura guessed quickly.

"Yes." Hardrial nodded. "You’re going to participate in the Tournant of the Ascended. You’re already registered, but it’s still two months away, so we’ll just be getting ready for it."

He then looked at Louis.

"The Tournant of the Ascended is one of the Royal Academy’s most iconic Tournants, and it only takes place here at the main venue. It is a Tournant that is done to, in part, choose those who can fight in the Battle of the Hierarchies, seeking to leave the na of the region high."

Despite saying that, he added: "You don’t need to seek that. Just strive and give your best there. For the rest, let it be whatever your effort allows."

"I see." Louis nodded. "I heard that it’s from that tournant that the Academy Ranking is chosen."

"That’s right. There are 21 Positions in the Ranking, but it’s counted up to Rank 50 among the students. The top 21 are the strongest and already within the Top 5, the students have so much power within the Academy that they rival many teachers."

Louis nodded, surprised. That last one he hadn’t expected. If they had that much status ’power’ to rival the professors, it would only be normal for him to be attacked by the subordinates of one of those Top 5 guys, and no one would have known about it.

Maybe they are even just as strong as many teachers, those guys.

But if he wanted to fight there, he didn’t think he was qualified yet.

’I’m still a long way from Professor Hardrial’s level, after all. Even though I’ve gotten quite strong these days, I still feel like there’s a gulf between and him. And I can’t even create Runes very quickly.’ He thought.

Hardrial erased the things that were written on the board from yesterday and looked at them.

"Today it’s ti to learn sothing I know you’ll like." Hardrial said, looking at Laura.

She felt confused. "What is it?"

"The Way of Sorcerers and Warlocks. The most efficient way to learn Magical Processing. Theory before practice is key, and we’ll be skipping many classes thanks to Louis advancing faster than I thought." He spoke.

"Really?" Laura was thrilled to hear it.

Still, before that, it seed Louis had so questions.

"Professor Hardrial, before we begin... I’d like to know what you can tell about the patterns that form in the weave when you explode a fabric you are creating. Last ti, that really helped learn about fabrics."

The professor’s eyes sparkled. He had been thinking about how to get to that topic of conversation, but now it seed he didn’t need to.

"Before that, I’d like to know if you ca across them accidentally or if you saw so information sowhere."

"I read a bit and then stumbled upon them accidentally, when one of my Fabrics failed."

"You read it?" Hardrial felt stunned.

That subject matter wasn’t in normal magical books, much less replicas sold on the street.

But Hardrial didn’t keep delving into it; it was okay to have his secrets. He just smiled and nodded.

"You’re good." He said, turning around to start explaining. "That’s called Magical Overexposure of Specialized Threads or simply Magical Reaction."

"Oh? You an it requires thread specialization for its formation?"

"Haha, that’s right. The information you read is precious, so I should praise whoever wrote that."

To make a Magic Reaction, threads must already have an attribute. There are two ways to make an Arkanotric Fabric.

The first is simply letting the Fabric itself gain attributes when it’s almost complete. That’s Louis’s thod to learn how to make his first Fabric.

The second is the one he used for the other two. Give each Thread of the fabric an attribute. This gives the fabric much more power when created.

And here sothing very important cos into play... Which Hardrial decided to explain later, as he had to take a brutal detour in his teaching.

NTA: (Sorry) Caution, incoming bulk information. Read carefully for better understanding.

The Magic World.

It is the na given to the World seen and perceived by every living being capable of using Arkanoesis Magic.

In the beginning, the Arcane Flow was everything. It was a god over the world, passively ruling and allowing mankind to live as they please. But it was almost always looking for a way to contact the world’s living beings.

Therefore, this Almighty God decided to divide into parts, forming what is the Arcane Flow: A set of Arkantes Gods.

Five in total, but from which variants are said to have erged.

Thanks to this, the first Magicians were born. They were able to codify the information that the Arcane Flow gave them and began to contact the Gods. In this way, they began to transmit it from generation to generation.

Magicians, Sages, Archmages, Monarchs, and human Gods began to erge in history, reaching the famous Magical Arcane Ages.

The ti when Magic reached the pinnacle of existence.

This Magic we now know is drawn from the understanding of the Fabric of Arcane Flow (Passive Energy), that is, from the famous Arcane Flow Theorem, or better known as Arkanotric Flow.

There are several ways to express what the Arkanotric Flow shows us. The most common way is through the Arkanotric Fabrics.

Another way, the one Hardrial wanted to teach them, is the one used by Sorcerers and Warlocks: The Arcane Rhythms.

Understanding this is fundantal to everything, even creating a Magical Overexposure of Specialized Threads. It basically tells us that the Arcane Flow is actually the one that gives us all the information, and the Arcane Flow is all those Threads that Louis can see.

All that remains is to understand what it wants to tell and show us, then encode it and transmit it to the world using a Magical Pattern or Arcane Rune, whether ford as a Fabric or as an Arcane Rhythm.
