He had only seen a barrier like this once before, when he had just arrived in this world, and he hadn't even been able to "see" it, because it belonged to his father. Although it was obviously not the sa as his father's, since his father's was created naturally as he was a god and this one was ford with magic, both barriers were of the sa nature.

They served the sa function, and this one did so spectacularly, using the wind in a way he had never thought of.

The level of danger increased considerably, and Louis frowned.

"It's ti to end this," he thought, and removed the cylinder from the revolver to insert a new one. At the sa ti, he held another cylinder in his other hand to change it if necessary.

There were level 4 magic bullets inside, as well as so physical bullets. The magic bullets were created by him, the most powerful and specialized in explosive damage.

anwhile, the physical bullets were just waiting for the perfect opportunity to pierce through any kind of defense, with power capable of penetrating even steel.

Before his preparations were complete, one of the spells from the rain of magic began to fall on him, forcing him to move.

"Level 3 magic," Louis thought when he realized the level of power that magic had just exploded behind him.

The magic rains he had seen before were level 2, with a few level 3 spells mixed in, but these were all level 3 and quite powerful.

He didn't have ti to stay and watch what was happening. He knew this guy was going to fight with all his might, and the fact that spells were being added to the rain every second was proof of that.

But he couldn't let himself be hit by any of these spells. He had seen how Laura couldn't escape the onslaught when she was hit by one; perhaps the spells could track their target, or perhaps that guy could control them even from a distance. That's why he had to avoid being hit.

At the sa ti, he needed to find a way to beat him in the process.

With the spells falling on him, Louis had to start moving. Occasionally, he would remove the cylinder, put one with only magic bullets in it, and shoot in different directions where he felt it, but the magic disappeared.

The problem was that he couldn't see very well what was happening, so he had to get closer.

Fortunately, his footwork was amazing, and he managed to move nimbly between these spells until he got to the back. He moved quickly and soon passed a smoke screen, the last one.

Mark was standing in front of him, but magic was also heading toward his head and was almost certain to hit him.

Louis had to move his neck into an almost impossible position that even hurt him in order to dodge it, but his body fell backward from the force of the wind. He quickly got up and shot upward to disperse one of the spells, but his mind was fixed on Mark's body.

'That guy... Is he recharging his passive magic with the magical power of his own rain of spells?' Louis swallowed exaggeratedly when he realized this.

'Shit, I have to stop him.' That was his quickest thought.

Although the spells continued to fall on him, he didn't lose sight of Mark and ran around him, making sure to keep part of his body in his field of vision.

"To cross that defensive spell, I need speed," he thought.

He looked at his system. He knew that a little while ago, his Sequence level had gone up. From being a D-rank Novice Armsman to a C-rank Interdiate Armsman.

And his physical ability had gone up two levels, so his firing speed should be sufficient.

He just needed to coordinate the attack; he needed to find the perfect opportunity to do so. He had to interrupt whatever this guy was doing, because he sensed it would be sothing very dangerous.

So he gripped his revolver tightly.

"There are two magic bullets, without magic, just before the physical bullet. I must create a wave-type water magic and also a prolonged penetration-type earth magic for this to work," he thought.

His idea was simple, but difficult to execute perfectly.

The wave-type water magic would camouflage the bullets coming behind it. It should be fired not at the main body, but at an area that looks like it wants to interfere with the enemy's magic formulation. The best place for this was toward the scepter.

Now, the earth magic with prolonged penetration was just a spell with an almost perfectly distributed mass. Perhaps a 30-30-40, or it could even be divided into four layers.

These would only serve as a cover for a third spell that must be fired at a speed several tis greater than what she has managed to fire at this mont.

Controlling the rebound that occurs when firing would not be a problem, one of the main problems was that it would demand a lot of mana and energy as the shots were so fast, so he had to make sure to control this as well.

Now, the biggest problem was that he didn't have those spells created. So he needed to create them inside the bullets.

He was sure he could do it. He took a deep breath and then let the air out, until he activated his ability to run faster.

His speed increased considerably; these days that ability had also leveled up, so this ti the difference had been significant.

Imdiately, his mind began to work on the logic of one of the spells he had studied for a long ti. The logical variables of the spell entered his gaze, and now, with an improved understanding of how to create his own spells, he was able to quickly find a way to create it the way he wanted and imagined.

It would be the first ti he had done it, but he was more than determined to try. It was his chance.

He didn't think twice and imdiately set to work on it. It took him a while to create it, but as soon as he did, he imdiately put it in the magic bullet. It should work perfectly.

After that, he created the earth one; this wasn't complicated because he had done it before. He just had to change the proportion of the mass a little, which wasn't that complicated. As soon as he finished, he felt a great change in the atmosphere.

The spells from above fell, but there weren't that many.

"It's ti." He turned and ran quickly toward Mark, who he knew was nearby and trying to attack him with magic, but he wasn't doing anything else.

It was strange.

But he didn't have ti to think.

With his speed, he managed to get close enough that it was impossible to miss the bullet. He imdiately aid and fired.

Just as he had thought, the first bullet hit the scepter. The second hit his shoulder... the third didn't even make a sound, he fired so quickly.

Mark took a step back, casually. A fabric was created in front of the scepter, creating a water spell that sought to counteract the big wave.

Just as he created it, he noticed the other magic coming right behind the wave, camouflaged.

'Tsk.'

Although his wind magic that protected him was powerful, this level 4 magic seed extrely strong to stop it with just that. He raised his hand and imdiately created a powerful earth shield like the one before.

The incoming earth stake struck with force, and he was pushed back hard. 'Really powerful,' he thought.

But suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his arm.

"Hm?" He stood stunned as his arm turned into minceat when a bullet tore through from his hand to his shoulder.

Pain overwheld him monts later, and he stumbled backward several tis.

His magic faltered slightly, but at the sa ti, determination flashed in his eyes.

He looked ahead.

Louis was heading towards him. He had to act now.

"Oh, Elental Gods who have given power beyond my generation..." He began to murmur a soft, direct chant. And the magic around him began to tremble.

Those still in the sky began to fall more quickly in random places, and suddenly his figure began to change.

The protective magic he had disappeared.

But the magic in his scepter began to glow.

"...Grant the opportunity to use, once again, the power you have bestowed upon ..." Their murmurs soon stopped, and he smiled.

He imdiately swung his scepter forward, just as it was about to collide with Louis' revolver.

Both acted at the sa ti.

A shot rang out.

And...

"Dragon of the God of the Elents!"

Suddenly, a powerful magic bullet struck a huge dragon that erged from the tip of the scepter.

The bullet imdiately lost montum, but when the dragon sought to swallow Louis, it couldn't find his body.

He was already standing next to Mark, pointing at him.

He didn't say a word before firing all the magic and physical bullets he could.

His body weakened after that, but if he didn't win with this, he was dood.

Even so...

Just then, a smile ford on Mark's face.

Louis hadn't noticed.

But that dragon magic he had cast had created an imnse amount of elental magic throughout the area around him, and when he beca an easy target, the magic was fired in his direction...

Suddenly, both of them were sent flying in opposite directions by the force of each other's magic.

One after another, they hit the walls outside the arena.
