Back in the normal world, Adam's world, which had effectively drowned after staying too long in the bath awakened again as life ca back to him.
Rising up from the water with a gasp, Adam's grip tightened around the brother of the bathtub so tightly that it left crack in it.
'What the hell had just happened.'
His mind was still reeling because of the event that had just happened.

Registering the words of Genesis, Adam growled; "What the hell was that? I nearly died."

Adam frowned as he stood up with but imdiately felt like he was about to fall.
"Ugh…."
His sense of balance was completely fucked. Not only that. His perception seed to stretch the physical limit of the human body. It felt a new part of his body was opening and he could feel all his surroundings. It was definitely a rather foreign sensation. As if he had grown an extra limb or pair of eyes in this matter.
'What is happening to ?'
He rembered Genesis speaking about the second chakra—The crown.

This was Adam's new stats page. He realized imdiately that while nothing much changed overall, he was slowly becoming stronger.
Firstly, he had a unique Skill. The question mark was kinda bothering him though. This was the first ti the so-called book of knowledge showed this.
Aside from this, his skill appraisal had vanished, clearly being swallowed by the Eye of Truth.

He nearly lost himself in this skill so he hoped that it would be worth it. If he understood the words currently this skill was just an enhanced version of Appraisal as it was the skill that was absorbed. But if he later on he nourished it with other skills of the sa type…

Adam wanted to make the full use of this power. The more information he could obtain with it, the safer he would be.
He then focused on the second skill he obtained.

This was a skill born from the so-called power of Origin and his enlightennt. This was a skill that belonged only to him at the mont.
He was quite curious about its effect.
Adam may have joked around about being a pay-to-win player but he understood just how important Genesis was for his growth.
It could allow him to skip a long research and fumble in just understanding the basics.
Though it seed like Karma could not help him accelerate the learning process of a skill.

"I only have one fast pass left."
Adam did not like leaving things to chance. He still had one quest that could give him Free pass to enter the library.
Kill his killer.
This was a rather dangerous quest and Adam was not sure yet that he could do so. He lacked too much information to go on a Wild chase, searching an enemy he did not even know the whereabouts of.
Now wasn't the ti to think about this yet. One thing at tis. Haste made waste after all.
With that out of the way he slowly stood up, still a little wobbly but much better than a few monts ago, and approached the mirror, careful to not suddenly fall. He didn't want to die again in his bathroom.
It wasn't easy. Once again the world felt different. It wasn't the vividness he obtained by opening the Third Eye but more like an increase in the amount of information he could obtain and process.
He felt like his thoughts were moving much faster than before as well.
Reaching the mirror above the sink, Adam first observed his disheveled appearance.
The first he noticed was the color of his eyes.
He always had blue eyes. But the current ones seed completely different. It was as if he was holding the sky itself in his eyes. In a way, they seed more like shining jewels than true eyes.
'So I am not a vampire and my skin doesn't shine but I have eyes that can serve as lighthouses?'
It was so ridiculously funny that he forgot an instant why he was here.
But it was also worrying. With eyes like that, he didn't even need to tell anyone that he was not sothing human.
This was too conspicuous.
"What is happening with my eyes currently and how can I stop it."

This was only a minor problem currently. So he decided to focus on what was important.
