Adam had expected many things, pain included in those expectations, when he decided to open a new major Chakra pathway.
Perhaps he would have so visions, perhaps sothing would go wrong along the way, or perhaps he would have to go through a trial of so sort once again.
But surprisingly, outside of an agonizing pain that made him feel like magma was being poured all over his throat, nothing else had happened which confused her sowhat.
This was more normal than he ever anticipated this process to go.
When he felt that the flow of energy in his throat had cald down sowhat, Adam coughed slightly and decided to adjust the stuffiness he felt in his throat.
"A. B. C. D..."
He recited the alphabet and did so articulation, but while he felt a little different there didn't seem to be that much difference due to the opening of his Throat Chakra.
"I am Adam."
'Hmm.'
He tilted his head in confusion, not being able to understand what was going on. But soon, he decided to calm himself down and focus inwardly. He realized then that even though the Throat Chakra had now been open, because of his current circulation of Prana, the energy naturally did not go through the Throat Chakra pathway.
'Ugh. I need to change that.'
He rembered the Book about how to breathe and focused deeply. Unlike the first ti he did sothing like this, he was no inexperienced newbie this ti around.
He began to absorb the Prana in the atmosphere through The Crown Chakra and circulated it through the Third Eye. Normally, at this ti, the flow of Prana would circulate through his minor chakra through the body. But this ti around, he made a conscious effort and guided the accumulated Prana to move through the now-opened major Chakra pathway.
Bang~!
Adam felt like a small explosion had taken place in his head that rattled his mind.

Adam could not pay attention to the ssage.
He could only focus on himself as he felt that his body was going through a complete changing process and adapting to his new heights of power. His throat tingled, his eyes hurt slightly, and he felt like a haze was covering his mind.
Even though he could not see it, he felt like the chains that were previously serving as tethers to bind him were broken partially, giving him a sense of true freedom.
For an instant, a very short instant, his perspective changed entirely.
He was not looking at the world through his eyes. But from a higher perspective, as if he had left his body and was wandering along with his mind alone and was able to see everything on a much larger scale.
Whoosh~
The power of his domain burned brightly. The three Chakra pathways rged to make it grow at a phenonal speed-- 50 ters, 70 ters, 100 ters, and 200 ters. The domain continued to grow more and more, leaving the confines of his ho, covering the street, covering even more area until finally...
Five hundred ters...
"Argh!"
This ti Adam could not help himself and leaked a groan of sheer agony as thousand upon thousand of small pieces of information word inside his brain in real ti.
This was so much that his body itself fought to adapt to this new change of power and perspective.

The world in his perception began to slow down to nearly a crawl, but unlike in the past when he would already be bleeding from his eyes, he only felt a small tingle in his brain and ocular system.

The world felt different, and the way he saw things felt vastly different too. His perception, his thinking speed, and so many more aspects had been so significantly boosted that he beca completely speechless after understanding the limits of his startling growth.
'Ah...'
Adam understood now why people beca drunk on their powers. In his 500 ters domain, he had the impression that he was completely omnipotent. Even though he knew it was just an illusion brought by the feeling of euphoria, it was hard to fight this very feeling of euphoria.
He could feel the presence of so many people in his domain. With a thought, he could know nearly everything about them. From their nas to even their innermost feelings. With another thought, he could simply crush all of them with gravity, destroy all the communication devices, and do so many more things.
'Ugh...'
Adam grabbed his head and unknown to him his eyes once again changed to a golden color. Only this ti, the color started to spread to the second eye as well.
His mind felt alien, colder, and more calculating. This wasn't the first ti he had felt this alien side of him. This had happened when he fused with Buddha's mind and reached a higher level of enlightennt.
This also happened when he awakened the skill [Fear].
Adam realized then... The stronger he beca, the more evolution he went through, and the closer to transcendence he was -- The more aspects of his humanity he would lose.
This was an inevitable change. For how the mind of an adult was different from that of a child and that the mind of a king was different from that of a commoner.
Then... As if it was a lie, everything cald down once more.
Huff~ Huff~ Huff~
His breathing was heavy. His face was covered in sweat. He felt like he had run through an entire marathon for days without stopping for even a second.
His mind once again felt like it was his own and the coldness and sharpness receded but it was still there, lurking in the back of his mind.
'Genesis. What was happening to ?'

It was as simple as that and Adam could only grimace at that notion. He understood that changes were inevitable. He knew that he could not reject those changes. That didn't an that he had to like it.
In the sa way adults wished they could go back to the simpler and less mature minds of their childhood, change always brought small hesitations.
But did it an that they were bad?
Slowly, Adam began to float in the air. This ti he did not even need to lower the gravity for him to be able to do this feat. His mind beca stronger and the weight he could lift was now much higher than before.
He began to think. Could the current him face the vampire before it went berserk? He thought for a while before shaking his head.
He felt like he could. At the very least, he knew that he wouldn't have to be so helpless and play dead like last ti.
How long had it been since he awakened?
Less than a month. Barely three weeks.
Adam chuckled under his breath...
"You are truly incredible, Genesis."

Adam shook his head and chased away the dark thoughts in his mind. Since he had grown so much...
It was ti for him to see the change for himself.

The book opened wide for him to see the changes that transpired in his body.

Adam's eyes twitched at that remark but for once it wasn't as mocking as it was in the past.
The door opened wide and Cecilia burst into the room before looking at her son floating in the air with surprise.
She had felt the sudden increase in Prana and had rushed to see what was happening but she had to admit that his changes were a little too massive for her to stomach.
Speechless as she was, she could only say the first thing that ca to her mind, "You know, the current scene with you floating like this seems like the start of a movie about exorcism, right?"
Adam chuckled at those words before landing on the ground. Her words had managed to break through a certain tension that had been building inside of him.
The two of them gazed into each other eyes, there were worries hidden deep in Cecilia's mind, and Adam could tell that clearly.
She knew very well, that every ti her son grew stronger ant that he changed just as fast.
Still, at first, she thought those changes would take years or at least months to co. Now... It was clear that she had underestimated his growth.
Whether this was a good thing or not was yet to be seen. But she had no wish to stifle his growth.
'I guess now, I really need to talk with her...'
She had been pushing it for so long but the inevitable still ca to her. She needed to have a conversation with her sister.
(AN: So now Adam grew once again. He is evolving fast, so his actual skill has a hard ti catching up. But at least now, he can be said to be strong. Still, this volu is more about his life as a Gigolo. So let's see him make use of his enhanced Charm stats and Throat Chakra. That one will bring so interesting skills. Finally, Midnight Prince's title was changed to God of Cri: Strongest Mafia Boss. A little cliche I know but kinda catchy and makes things clear. Next month, the Priv Tiers will once again be updated Highest tier will be 21 chapters and still with a 99% Reduction. The other tiers will also be changed. I believe it will make everyone happy.)
