573: Chapter 574: Blood Recognition (Part 1) 573: Chapter 574: Blood Recognition (Part 1) If it could be smashed, naturally there wouldn’t be anything to consider, but if it proved indestructible, Ye Xiyao was prepared to try her own thod.

“Shall I give it a try?” Li Changlin, of course, was not aware of what Ye Xiyao was thinking, so he looked up at her, seeking her opinion.

After all, the box belonged to Ye Xiyao; how to deal with it was her decision to make.

“Alright, let’s give it a shot.” Ye Xiyao nodded her head.

Although she was sowhat worried about what would happen if the box got smashed, compared to finding out what was hidden inside, Ye Xiyao still wanted to know where La Grandpa had gone.

“Then Xi Yao, step back a bit.” Li Changlin placed the box on the ground and swung his hand down to smash it fiercely.

Bang!

With a muffled sound, Li Changlin’s fist was instantly repelled.

Even more, he felt a trendous force directly striking his fist, causing his arm to beco numb and tingly.

“There’s sothing strange, sothing very strange!” Li Changlin let out a sigh, and now it seed the box was probably indestructible.

What material could it possibly be made of?

“Brother Changlin, didn’t it work?” Ye Xiyao squatted down, holding Li Changlin’s hand with concern, “Your hand is all red, how much strength did you just use?”

“It’s fine, it’s fine.” Li Changlin managed a slight smile, yet at that mont, his entire arm was trembling.

How utterly disappointing, considering he possessed the power of the Middle Transformation Realm, and now he was unable to do anything about a box; it was such a failure.

“Brother Changlin, let try,” said Ye Xiyao, releasing Li Changlin’s hand, then picking up the box and placing it back on the coffee table.

“Xi Yao, what do you plan to do?” Li Changlin said, puzzled, wondering if she had any other thods given that even he could not handle it.

“I want to try using Grandpa’s thod,” Ye Xiyao said with a shy smile; even she found the idea sowhat fantastical, but the secret hidden inside the box made her disregard everything else.

“Are you, you going to use blood?” Li Changlin imdiately thought of it when Ye Xiyao ntioned it earlier.

“Yes, I just want to give it a try,” Ye Xiyao nodded, then added quietly, “Brother Changlin, am I being stupid doing this?”

“This, isn’t this a bit too fantastical?” Li Changlin gave an awkward smile, not wanting to outright say that Ye Xiyao’s idea was implausible.

“But, I really want to know where Grandpa has gone!” Ye Xiyao pursed her lips, her voice trailing off, “Brother Changlin, you should know about my destiny…”

“Alright, Xi Yao, don’t say anymore,” Li Changlin quickly reached out to cover Ye Xiyao’s mouth, saying in a low voice, “Fine, since you want to try, let Brother Changlin do it, with my blood.”

Having said that, Li Changlin made a cut on his index finger, “Where do I need to drop the blood?”

Li Changlin also liked to read novels and rembered that in so fantasy stories, divine artifacts had a special spot that could absorb fresh blood.

Once soone dropped blood onto that point, they could form a connection with the item, allowing the artifact to recognize its master.

“Here, Brother Changlin, look at this thin line pattern; try dropping your blood on it,” Ye Xiyao said, feeling a tinge of pain seeing the fresh blood on Li Changlin’s finger, but the desire to uncover the secret in the box quickly overca her hesitations as she promptly pointed to the spot she had already discovered.

“Alright!” Li Changlin focused and indeed noticed sothing unusual about the pattern.

Without further thought, Li Changlin imdiately dripped the blood from his finger onto the pattern.

Thud!

To their imnse surprise, when the blood touched the pattern on the box, a faint noise emanated from it.

Following that, all the blood began to seep into the pattern, slowly making its way towards the end.

“Weird, so weird!” Watching this happen, Li Changlin felt like his mind was becoming muddled.

But upon further thought, there really wasn’t anything too shocking about it.

After all, he had obtained the presence of the God Tycoon Cultivation System, and a system that could even bind with his own brain.

Thus, it seed quite normal for a box to absorb blood!

Soon, all the blood had seeped into the tiny hole at the end of the pattern.

And with that, Li Changlin’s heart stirred slightly, feeling as if he had indeed established a slight connection with the box.

“Brother Changlin, how is it?

How is it?

Do you feel anything?” Seeing the blood disappear into the tiny hole, Ye Xiyao also beca excited.

“It seems like there is indeed a bit of a connection.

I’ll try dripping a little more blood.” Li Changlin was greatly moved.

However, the connection still felt weak, and it seed insufficient to enable him to open the box.

So, he squeezed his finger hard and another large drop of blood fell around the pattern.

Ding-dong!

This ti, the box emitted a crisp sound, which both of them heard loud and clear.

Soon, all the blood had fully seeped into the tiny hole in the pattern, and Li Changlin’s sensation beca even more profound.

“Brother Changlin.” At that mont, Ye Xiyao looked over expectantly.

“It still doesn’t seem to work; I can’t open the box.

It feels like sothing is missing.” Although Li Changlin could now sense the box, it seed he was still powerless when it ca to opening it.

This sensation was very peculiar, and Li Changlin couldn’t articulate what it was exactly.

“Could it be that it’s missing my blood?” Ye Xiyao’s eyes lit up, as she suddenly rembered a story of yin and yang complenting each other that La Grandpa had once told her.

“Xi Yao, you…” Li Changlin was slightly taken aback, feeling like Xi Yao was sowhat possessed.

Could this box really be so kind of fairy or divine artifact?

It all seed impossible.

But now he genuinely felt a certain connection with the box, a situation that even Li Changlin didn’t know how to explain.

“Brother Changlin, please hurry up and prick my finger.” At that mont, Ye Xiyao had already stretched her delicate hand out in front of Li Changlin.

Li Changlin looked at her pale, translucent finger, wondering how he could possibly bring himself to do it!

“Brother Changlin, hurry up, please,” Ye Xiyao urged softly when she saw Li Changlin still hesitating.

“Alright, alright.” At her plea, Li Changlin felt his whole body go soft.

So, he extended his finger and lightly scratched Ye Xiyao’s index finger with his nail.

“Mmhm!” The index finger is connected to the heart, and though the scratch wasn’t forceful, it was enough to break the skin on Ye Xiyao’s finger, causing her to let out a soft cry.
