Chapter 1255: Chapter 1249 Shuiyun Gang

At first, Yang Mingzhu thought maybe the line was busy, so she hung up and redialed.

After seven or eight attempts, Yang Mingzhu finally realized.

This wasn’t about the line being busy—damn it, the other party had directly put her number on the blacklist!

Helpless, Yang Mingzhu decided to call Huo Hongxing instead. After all, this piece of land had been found with his help, and Yang Mingzhu knew the Huo Family held so influence in Shanghai City, enough to smooth things over with the troublemaking Shuiyun Gang.

This ti the call went through, but what made Yang Mingzhu freeze was the fact that Huo Hongxing had gone back to Jiangnan—he wasn’t in Shanghai City at all.

Yang Mingzhu hurriedly asked Huo Hongxing to think of a solution. She was under imnse pressure; these people were simply too brazen, acting without the slightest restraint.

Not only had they beaten her employees, but they also threatened her—if she didn’t cooperate, they would directly wreck the place.

Huo Hongxing was also a bit stunned. He asked Yang Mingzhu, strangely, why she hadn’t contacted Brother Changlin.

In Huo Hongxing’s view, for sothing like this, Yang Mingzhu should have sought out Li Changlin as her first move.

While Huo Hongxing had so influence in Shanghai City, his clout ultimately ca from the Huo Family. Others could choose to respect it—or not.

Take the Shuiyun Gang, for instance. Huo Hongxing had heard of them before. It was said the gang leader was a master at the Early Stage of Virtual Energy, which made him sowhat formidable.

Still, Huo Hongxing had never interacted with the Shuiyun Gang, because typically, whenever he invoked the na of the Jiangnan Huo Family, those dabbling in shady business wouldn’t dare ss with him.

Of course, if soone really did provoke the Huo Family, then the one they offended wouldn’t just be Huo Hongxing. For the sake of their reputation, the Huo Family would surely dispatch experts to suppress any challengers.

The Shuiyun Gang’s leader was surely aware of this dynamic, which was why he wouldn’t easily aim trouble at the Huo Family.

After Huo Hongxing’s suggestion, Yang Mingzhu imdiately went to cry to Li Changlin. After hearing her out, Li Changlin was quite irritated.

To think, such a minor faction would dare ss with his company—did they have a death wish or sothing!

Zhiwei was an enterprise Li Changlin had invested two billion yuan in. It wasn’t a lot of money to him, but Li Changlin had planned to use the company as a steady source to generate more and more Popularity Points. He wouldn’t simply stand by and let Zhiwei be bullied.

So, after asking for the address, he greeted the won in his life and set out.

Downstairs, Li Changlin realized Yang Fei, Zhou Wendong, and Huang Yingjie weren’t around.

With no one to drive, Li Changlin had to hail a cab on his own.

He flagged down a taxi by the roadside and headed for the construction site.

About twenty minutes later, Li Changlin arrived at Zhiwei’s construction site.

By then, the Shuiyun Gang had brought in a considerable number of people, nearly a hundred, surrounding the site. The workers couldn’t proceed with their tasks at all. Li Changlin spotted a burly man, around thirty years old, standing in front of Yang Mingzhu, smirking coldly as he spoke.

Behind this burly man stood about twenty others, while the remaining Shuiyun Gang mbers had scattered around the site, keeping an eye on the workers.

Li Changlin furrowed his brow and strode forward.

“Stop right there! The Shuiyun Gang is handling business here; anyone irrelevant better get lost imdiately!” Two n wielding steel rods stepped up to block Li Changlin’s path as he approached.

Li Changlin’s gaze turned icy as he coldly commanded, “Move.”

“You’re courting death!” The two n’s expressions darkened upon hearing his retort. Without hesitation, they swung their steel rods toward his head.

Li Changlin sneered, raising his hand in one swift motion.

Two sharp sounds rang out, and the n’s bodies were sent flying backward, landing heavily on the ground.

“Shit!”

“Troublemaker!”

The commotion stirred up the rest of the Shuiyun Gang’s mbers. Instantly, more than a dozen of them rushed toward him.

These people were clearly hardened criminals, accustod to living on the edge. Without any warning, they swung their weapons directly at Li Changlin.

Li Changlin’s eyes turned cold. This was the first ti he had encountered such a brazen gang. Naturally, there was no reason to hold back. Activating his Dark Energy, his figure flashed like a Fierce Tiger as he plunged into the crowd.

Even though Li Changlin only unleashed the power of Initial Stage Dark Energy, his strength was imnse, exceeding five hundred pounds at the very least.

On top of that, his footwork was powered by Eight Steps Chasing Cicadas, making it impossible for weapons like steel rods or machetes to even graze his coat.

However, with every strike Li Changlin landed, a mber of the Shuiyun Gang was sent flying. While Li Changlin maintained restraint, these thugs either ended up crippled or unconscious—none of them could withstand even a single move.

In re seconds, all of the dozen or so gang mbers were laid out on the ground around him.

Those knocked unconscious were the lucky ones. The unfortunate ones with broken limbs, still awake, were writhing in agony, moaning wretchedly.

Li Changlin despised their arrogance. While he spared their lives, he shattered their bones.

Such pain was far beyond what ordinary people could endure.

After all, those attacking Li Changlin now were the lowest-tier mbers of the Shuiyun Gang. So were rely peripheral players.

“Hm!” The commotion naturally caught the attention of the burly man who had been threatening Yang Mingzhu. He turned around, bewildered, glaring coldly at Li Changlin.

With a wave of his hand, he shouted darkly, “What are you all waiting for? Get him! Finish him off!”

Although he had noticed Li Changlin’s martial prowess, the man showed no fear.

Li Changlin, in turn, observed that this man was at the Middle Threshold Stage of Transformation Realm and raised his brow in mild surprise.

It was well-known in the Ancient Martial World that anyone entering the Transformation Realm before the age of thirty was considered a prodigy. Judging by this man’s appearance—around thirty years old—he was indeed extraordinary.

Still, how could soone with rely Transformation Realm cultivation catch Li Changlin’s eye?

As of now, unless he used Half-step Inch Strength, Li Changlin was practically invincible.

A re Transformation Realm master could be taken out with a snap of his fingers.

Yet this man had no intention of confronting Li Changlin one-on-one. Li Changlin might be strong, but he was clearly outnumbered, wasn’t he?

At his command, the Shuiyun Gang mbers imdiately charged at Li Changlin en masse, weapons raised.

“Big Brother Li, watch out!” Yang Mingzhu, seeing the escalation, cried out in panic.

She knew Li Changlin was skilled, but the sheer number of opponents had her deeply worried.
