Chapter 746: Chapter 709: The City Lord of Divine Punishnt City

Miss Ror and the snack shop owners were so thrilled they revealed their Angel Bodies, flying out of the barrier to greet him: "Warrior, welco back from your triumphant return!"
Da Fei laughed heartily: "Too kind, really, I’m not quite used to all this, hahaha!"
Miss Ror chuckled: "Warrior, is this the Demon Race troop you ntioned in your letter? They can’t enter the city due to the barrier, so please, co with
first to settle your troops."
Oh right, the barrier issue, he hadn’t thought of that, yet she had! Da Fei was overjoyed: "Thank you so much, Miss Ror, you are so considerate."
Miss Ror smiled: "It was Dor who spent a day opening a barracks for the troops outside the barrier on the mountainside. You should thank him!"
Da Fei was taken aback, not expecting this cold-on-the-outside, warm-on-the-inside guy!
At this mont, Dor, displaying his Angel Body clad in shimring silver and gold armor, said indifferently, "It is we who should thank the Warrior. For ten thousand years, the situation at Divine Punishnt City might undergo a strategic change thanks to the Warrior’s arrival. No matter what we do for the Warrior, it will never be too much."
Da Fei laughed loudly: "Nonsense, this is our duty and obligation to uphold justice and combat evil." Hey hey, rember what was promised, if I could co back, you’d reward
with a soldier, don’t forget that.
But, on ntioning the barrier, Da Fei suddenly rembered those three Demon Drivers! He then inquired, "What about the three Demon Drivers I had subdued?"
With a long sigh, Miss Ror replied, "They were directly teleported back to the city and were severely burned by the barrier. Now, they are unconscious and recuperating in the Nightmare Space."
Da Fei exclaid, "Nightmare Space?"
Miss Ror shook her head and sighed, "Yes. The intensity of the barrier at the heart of Divine Punishnt City is not sothing an ordinary demon can withstand. If they had stayed any longer, it’s very likely they would have been obliterated by the barrier. In that situation, we had no ti to settle them properly, so we had to transfer them to the Demon Space imdiately. Now they are lying on the chessboard, accompanying the Thunder Angel in slumber."
Damn! The Thunder Angel sure is lucky to have three new pals! But if they’re unconscious—
Da Fei hurriedly asked, "How long will they be unconscious?"
Ror shook her head and sighed, "Who knows. It could be one or two weeks."
Da Fei’s heart skipped a beat, didn’t this an he could pocket all three Crusader badges for himself? That’s right, when they wake up and ask about it, just say the badges have expired. It’s not anyone else’s fault but theirs; they’ll have to ask Sazer personally! Plus, this also conveniently solves the issue of Crusaders endorsing demons that troubles the Angel Leader! And it solves the advancent issues of my alt account, my sister’s, and my wife’s alts too, haha, mwahahaha! That settles it!
At that mont, Dor chuckled, "Who would have thought that the fate of Divine Punishnt City once hinged on these three weak demons, how unpredictable fate is. Alright, here’s the barracks, please!"
Da Fei and the others were now right below the staircase of Divine Punishnt City’s gates, near a cave on the mountainside, not normally under the protective barrier of Divine Punishnt City.
Da Fei couldn’t help expressing his surprise, "Here? Doesn’t seem too safe, does it? What if demons charge this place?"
Ror shook her head, "There’s no other way. But this place is also within the striking range of the Watchtower on the city walls, and for many years the demons haven’t directly assaulted the city in an all-out attack, so it shouldn’t be a big problem, especially now when the demon offensive has been repulsed."
