Eldrich and Nephis had a hard ti digesting the fact that these three had storage space.

Their journey continued with the interception of so low-level creatures. Most of them were lizards, but none were as strong as the first one.

In the beginning, many lizards managed to slip away after being trapped by Eldrich or burned by Nephis' flas.

She had an elent related to fire—or rather, it would be best to say she possessed the fire elent.

So elents were not rare, but not everyone developed them in the sa way. For example, one fire user might focus on wide-area attack skills, another might specialize in precise attacks, while a third could combine both styles.

And still, these weren't the only options—skills themselves could vary significantly within each category.

Throughout the battles, they learned to deal with the lizards. The catch was that using elental attacks wasn't always enough. If these lizards matched their power, even their elents wouldn't stop them from escaping.

The only viable strategy in such situations was instant kill tactics—eliminate them before they had a chance to flee. These creatures' primary instinct was survival. During fights, so even sacrificed parts of their bodies just to save their heads and escape.

"This is the eleventh," Tyler said, putting the crystal away.

It was the eleventh lizard he had killed, not counting how many the rest of the group had slain.

This small desert surprisingly had a large number of lizard beasts.

Tyler was particularly attentive to these fights.

Every battle left him with two choices—either rely on his foresight ability or use his own judgnt.

He tried to find a balance between both, but at tis, his foresight suggested actions that would put him in danger, making him lean towards trusting his instincts instead.

"Here we are," Harry said, gazing at the vast jungle. He couldn't see its end—neither to the right nor the left.

They were still a kiloter away, but they could already see the towering Darkwood trees.

Eldrich and Nephis retrieved their essentials from Harry.

They kept only the items they wouldn't imdiately need in the storage ring—mostly support weapons and so pills.

"Alright, listen up. Choose one leader, and from now on, no one is allowed to disobey his orders," Nephis instructed.

It was necessary to prevent individual mistakes and ensure teamwork. Until now, Nephis had naturally taken the lead, and they were comfortable following her. She also had experience with these types of missions.

Harry and Tyler were out of the question for the leadership role. That left Gracie and Eldrich, but neither of them seed particularly interested.

"Okay then, listen. Harry and Gracie, tell us your elents," Nephis demanded. It was in their best interest to understand each other's strengths.

"I have the chaos elent. The skills are complicated, but you can assu I specialize in surprise attacks," Gracie explained.

Nephis shifted her gaze to Harry.

Harry felt uncomfortable. He didn't want to reveal his elent, but keeping it a secret would also be suspicious and could be life threatening.

"I have a barrier-related elent. I can use barrier skills to defend and attack to so extent," Harry said.

This was the perfect way to conceal his true elent while still giving them an idea of what he could do.

Normally, anyone with even basic proficiency in their elent could use fundantal skills. However, Harry could only unlock one skill at a ti through his system, stating that he had a barrier ability was enough—since it was the only skill he could currently use in battle, apart from his blood elent.

Nephis was curious. She couldn't recall anyone with an affinity for the barrier elent. She knew that so elents functioned more like abilities than traditional elents. The more specific an elent was, the stronger it had to be in that particular area.

If Harry truly had a barrier-related elent, then it must be quite powerful—or perhaps this new Elental Master had yet to discover the full potential of his elent.

It wasn't just Harry who was holding back information—Gracie hadn't explained much either, nor had the others.

Though, their elents were visible to the naked eye, so they couldn't hide much.

They prepared their battle plan and formation for dealing with potential dangers.

With everything settled, they began their descent into the jungle. At first, they encountered small bushes and plants, but soon, they found themselves surrounded by towering Darkwood trees.

The sounds of birds chirping and insects screeching pierced through their ears.

There was no visible danger, but who knew what lurked behind the next tree or which snake might take a deadly bite from below?

With slow, steady steps, the group ventured deeper.

According to the available information, the greatest threat they could face in this region was a wolf pack.

However, the information was outdated—it had been years since anyone had taken this quest.

The last recorded sighting reported that the pack consisted of 10 to 15 wolves, with their leader at Elental Master Level 3.

"Shhh."

The group halted imdiately at Nephis' command.

They heard loud thudding sounds.

"Thud."

"Thud."

"Thud."

Then, a massive bear erged from the woods.

It was three tis the size of an average male.

While its size was impressive, it wasn't the largest beast they had encountered so far.

The bear didn't attack imdiately, nor did the group make any sudden moves.

A brief pause followed before the beast lunged at Harry, the closest target.

Harry had already used his Inspect skill—it was only a Foundation Building Level 9 beast, so he wasn't worried.

He cast his barrier skill, stopping the attack just a foot away from his face.

Since the barrier was invisible, from the others' perspective, it looked as though the bear had struck an unseen wall.

"Invisibility... interesting," Eldrich muttered, already thinking of ways the skill could be used in combat.

The bear, confused, struck the barrier with full force again.

"It's making too much noise. Eldrich, kill it silently," Nephis ordered.

The barrier still stood. Harry wasn't focusing on multiple barriers—his concentration was solely on this one. The beast also wasn't strong enough, it had no chance of breaking through.

Eldrich raised his sword and slashed the air, sending a sharp blade of water flying toward the bear.

Harry dismissed the barrier just before impact.

A loud roar echoed through the jungle as the bear's neck was severed.

With a heavy thud, the beast collapsed onto the ground.

"I told you to finish it silently," Nephis scolded, glancing at the corpse.

"Stay alert and keep moving."

Eldrich extracted the crystal and tossed it to Tyler, who was in charge of holding them for now.

Then, the sound returned.

"Thud."

"Thud."

"Thud."

This ti, it was louder—much louder and more intimidating than before.

Harry spotted a massive beast in the distance, nearly three tis the size of the previous bear.

[Inspect]

[Elental Master Level 2, affinity with wood elent.]

"Retreat," Harry ordered, summoning an elental sword from thin air.

It was stored in his system's storage space—the feature he had unlocked while hunting beginner beasts.
