Morgana had expended her resources trying to find this wielder, the one who would possess the God-Tier System.

She wasn’t the only one expending resources.

Other factions did as well.

The most notable was Elijah and his company, but they made little progress.

The only other one worth ntioning was Vlad and his Circle.

---

At Vlad’s office, he was heard laughing.

Maniacally, you could say.

"Hahaha! You’ve done it again, haven’t you, rlin?"

"You’ve outdone !" Vlad shouted.

"First, you get the SSS-rank boy. I took little issue with it, but when I found out he was also an energy type, I was pissed. Super pissed."

"I spared no expense."

"I knew the only way I could counter your stance in this world would be with the God-Tier System."

"And now you have that as well."

"You really are one of a kind, you old man."

Vlad took a sip from a cup.

"I’ll watch."

"You want to play this ga? I want to play this ga."

"Let’s play."

---

"There’s two of them," a reporter pointed out back at City Hall.

"I’m Roe."

"I’m an SSS-rank mage of the Circle of rlin."

"I am, in fact, the first to exist since the founder himself."

He stepped back from the podium.

It was Zach’s turn to introduce himself.

Zach took the stage.

"I’m Zach."

"I’m only C-rank."

When Zach said this, he noticed everyone was confused.

They questioned why he was sharing the stage with a generational talent like an SSS-rank mage.

Zach was baiting the audience.

It was a bit he had rehearsed.

"Okay, are you done?" he asked.

He seed rude.

He intended it.

"Okay, sorry."

"I’m Zach."

"I’m a C-rank mage, and I’m the first..."

The cara flashes instantly beca more intense.

Zach had said he was the first...

The dia imdiately locked in.

They knew they had to capture this mont as best they could.

"I’m the first wielder of the God-Tier System."

Most of the dia people dropped their caras.

There were no more flashes.

Their reactions were raw.

What Zach said was completely unexpected.

He had caught them unaware.

This reaction was universal.

Not just the dia personnel present.

Those at ho also froze.

"I can’t believe they’re reacting this way."

"I thought we overreacted," Edward said.

Roe signaled Zach to stand back.

He had only introduced himself.

Now he wanted to give his so-called barely prepared speech.

"I’m a nobody," Roe said.

"I may be SSS-rank or whatever."

"This was never my goal."

"It’s no dream of mine."

"But let tell you sothing about ."

"Let tell you about my dream."

"I’ve always dread of becoming the greatest mage."

"I want to use mana to evolve our race even more than those who’ve co before."

"Unironically, I happen to bear the sa rank as the man who’s impacted our civilization the most."

"I definitely plan on following in his steps."

Roe knew he had captivated everyone with his speech so far.

He knew the world was listening.

He held his head high.

A clear smile was on display.

’Sothing’s missing,’ he thought.

’This is all good, but it’s not enough.’

’That’s it.’

He thought.

"I definitely plan on following in his footsteps."

"No, not really."

"I don’t."

"I dare say I plan on surpassing the founder."

"I guess what I’m saying is that I plan on surpassing rlin himself."

He stepped back from the podium.

He was done.

’No. I’m not,’ he thought.

He stepped forward again.

"I’m Roe."

"I’m an SSS-rank mage."

"I’m also the man who’ll set the pace of humanity’s advancent going forward."

He walked back.

This ti, he was for real.

Families at ho couldn’t resist.

Neighbors clapped.

They heard the applause of other families through their walls.

Vlad and Morgana were inspired.

Roe’s speech implied he was willing to surpass rlin.

"This is sothing I can exploit," Morgana said.

"That’s my play!" Vlad shouted.

Roe’s introduction to the world stage was rather successful.

It was now Zach’s turn.

He coughed as he stepped up.

So servers and forums started going down.

The traffic being generated on the sites was unprecedented.

So stations and channels began crashing.

Only the biggest networks maintained steady transmission.

"Well, that’s going to be hard to follow up," Edward noted.

Zach coughed.

"Well, that’s going to be hard to follow up," he said.

He hadn’t heard Edward.

It was really coincidental.

"I’m the wielder of the God-Tier System."

"Like my colleague here, I’m sure I’ll be an indispensable force for good."

"I’ll also help close rifts."

He was planning to make a wide appeal, but everyone was still riding the high from what Roe had said.

He would have to win the crowd sohow.

He had to pivot.

He hadn’t accounted for such a srizing speech.

The reporters seed disinterested.

He looked to Roe.

Roe wasn’t paying attention.

He was drunk right now.

Roe was drunk on his own speech.

"RAR!" Zach shouted.

Words.

Well, words would be insufficient.

"So why don’t I show you?"

"Right here."

"Right now."

"Let’s make a talent."

Morgana turned.

She left her desk and stood up.

This demanded her full attention.

"I’m listening."

-

Vlad stepped out. He was tired of just staying in his office while all this was going on. He realized he wanted to be where the action was. He grabbed his staff and took off.

He got to City hall. Paid a couple pockets and he was a couple stairs to the final door.

So people stood by the door. This wasn’t supposed to be a problem.

"Please excuse ". He said.

"Hey big guy. Where do you think you’re going. We’re kind of having a mont here. So could you not interrupt." Lot said.

Vlad turned to look at who was addressing him. It was a Lot.

"And do you know who I am". He asked.

Who doesn’t? Lot responded.

"And please don’t pretend not to know my voice. It’s disgusting, dad."

"Ha. "
