Ethan twisted the spear, and its devouring power surged outward.
At the sa ti, a violently tyrannical aura of slaughter erupted like a volcano.
The terrifying divine power, wrapped in the blazing strength of Onyx, flooded into Werner's body, crushing every inch of flesh, blood, and bone with devastating montum.
Pfft!
Werner's eyes widened in agony.
He spat out a mouthful of thick blood, veins bulging violently across his neck and forehead.
"Kid, you are still too green! If you want to kill , then you are coming with !"
Werner seized the shaft of the God Killing Spear with one hand.
The destructive power radiating from the weapon instantly lted the flesh from his palm, exposing stark white bone.
Yet even so, his grip did not loosen in the slightest.
In the next instant, Werner whipped his right hand toward Ethan's face.
The pale blue ice needle, as fine as embroidery thread, pierced straight through the center of Ethan's forehead.
Seeing this, Werner let out a tragic, victorious laugh. With his last trace of strength, he clenched his fist.
"Icy divine power, detonate!"
The ice needle exploded directly within Ethan's mind, and terrifying divine power rampaged without restraint.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Muffled explosions rang out continuously from within Ethan's body. Violent fluctuations burst outward, and pale blue ice flowers began blooming across his skin.
Ethan froze in place. His strength vanished, and his hand released the God Killing Spear. His body went rigid as he began to fall backward, the light in his pupils fading rapidly.
"It worked! The Seventh Elder succeeded!"
Seeing Ethan plumting, Darron ignored the excruciating pain from being pinned by the chains and shouted in ecstatic excitent.
"Dammit..."
Erna clenched her fists, her teeth biting into her red lip.
Ethan had fallen, yet the Seventh Elder would not survive either.
He had burned his soul and flesh to force mutual destruction. Losing a Perfect Supre was a massive blow to the Moonfall Clan.
But fortunately, Ethan was dead.
At the very least, they had eliminated a colossal future threat.
If Ethan escaped today, with that monstrous talent, the Moonfall Clan would one day face an Emperor Realm expert.
The thought of an Emperor as an enemy was enough to steal sleep from the entire Moonfall Clan.
"Farewell, Seventh Elder."
Erna sighed deeply, silently paying her respects.
The Seventh Elder had sacrificed his life for righteousness and the clan's future. His na would undoubtedly be recorded in heavy ink within the clan's rit records.
"Young Master Ethan!"
In the distance, Ryan saw Ethan's body plumting and let out a horrified roar. He froze in place, his eyes losing focus.
He was completely at a loss, not knowing what to do.
"No... what just happened?!" Ryan cried out in despair.
"Stop yelling!" Lunara scolded sharply.
"He is my Master."
"We are bound by a soul contract. The contract is still intact, which proves Mr. Ethan is not dead. Wait quietly for the outco."
Lunara rolled her eyes at Ryan.
"A soul contract... I see..."
Ryan released a massive sigh of relief, his racing heart finally settling. If Ethan had died here and he returned alone, how could he ever face the Eldest Miss?
"Wait. Sothing's wrong!" Darron suddenly shouted.
"What's wrong?" Erna asked.
"Why are these chains still here?" Darron struggled slightly, the piercing pain forcing him to suck in a sharp breath of cold air.
Logically, if Ethan were dead, these golden chains should have dissipated.
Yet they remained motionless and completely intact.
"...?!"
Reminded by Darron, Erna snapped back to reality, her expression changing drastically.
"Not good! Ethan isn't dead!"
"You two are quite smart!"
Ethan's voice suddenly echoed through the night sky.
Werner's body was plumting through the air.
His consciousness was already blurring, on the verge of dissipating. Yet that voice triggered a final mont of clarity.
Werner snapped his eyes open and used all remaining strength to look upward.
Above, another figure stood in the sky.
It was unmistakably Ethan.
Werner then glanced sideways at the body falling alongside him.
"Then who the hell is this?!"
At that mont, the pupils of Ethan's Mortal clone returned to normal.
The icy divine power wreaking havoc inside its body was completely purged. The clone halted its fall and rose back into the sky.
"How... how is this possi...?!"
Werner's final words never finished.
His face froze in utter confusion, his heart overflowing with indignation and unwillingness as his life extinguished in that very mont.
Erna and Darron stared blankly at the two identical Ethans standing above them. Their faces were painted with absolute disbelief.
Then endless, suffocating despair washed over them.
Ethan glanced down at the plumting Werner.
Cautious as ever, the instant he was struck by the ice needle, he had already activated One Energy Transforms into the Three Pure Ones.
The one who charged Werner while wielding the God Killing Spear had been his Mortal clone.
As expected, the old man had hidden a final killing move.
Unfortunately, all such sches were futile before Ethan.
The person capable of successfully scheming against him had not yet been born.
Werner's body was completely obliterated by the terrifying might of the God Killing Spear. During his fall, his corpse turned to ash and vanished into the freezing night wind.
Erna watched the Seventh Elder's complete end.
There truly was not even a trace left.
"Ethan, you dared to kill the Seventh Elder of my Moonfall Clan!"
"My Moonfall Clan will never forgive you!"
"No matter where you run, even if we dig three feet into the earth, my Moonfall Clan will find you and kill you!"
Erna bit her red lip until blood trickled down. Her eyes were bloodshot, her face twisted with fury and despair.
"Ethan... no, Young Master Ethan!"
"Young Master Ethan, my City Lord's Mansion was coerced by the Moonfall Clan! We never wanted to attack the Riverborn Clan. They forced us!"
"Young Master Ethan, you must understand!"
"Before the Moonfall Clan, our City Lord's Mansion is nothing. If I refused, I could not withstand their wrath."
"The hundreds of lives in the City Lord's Mansion, perhaps even the entire population of Flying Snow City, would have t violent ends!"
Darron begged for rcy frantically, his tone trembling and his expression filled with pleading desperation.
This Ethan possessed unknown origins and unfathomable strength.
Even the Seventh Elder of the Moonfall Clan had been crushed and killed without leaving an intact corpse. Facing Ethan, Darron had no room to resist.
He had cultivated painstakingly to reach the Ultimate Supre realm. He did not want to die like this.
If he could survive, he would pay any price, even if it ant offending the Moonfall Clan.
As long as Ethan let him off today.
