The aning of Ethan's words could not have been clearer.

If the Sky family continued to conceal the truth behind the Emperor Sage's inheritance, he would refuse to cooperate.

This was not a threat spoken in anger, nor coercion filled with hostility. It was calm, precise, and cold—yet far more oppressive than any roar of rage. To people like Max and Bella, this kind of pressure was the most terrifying.

Bella glanced at her husband.

Ethan's combat power was already beyond imagination. More importantly, he had not yet stepped into the Ultimate Supre realm. Such a cultivator was exactly the kind of existence the Training Trial Secret Realm was ant for.

Once he entered, his growth would be explosive, and the Sky family would be carried along by that montum.

Naturally, the Sky family could not afford to miss such an opportunity.

This kind of genius was exceedingly rare. If they let him slip away now, there was no guarantee they would encounter soone like him again in this lifeti.

Max nodded slowly to his wife, signaling her to speak.

At this point, any further concealnt would only make the Sky family appear petty and blind to reality.

Uncle Ghost and the Great Elder exchanged glances.

They were still struggling to suppress their emotions.

The mont they saw a genuine hope of unraveling Emperor Sage's inheritance, their composure had collapsed. Years of restraint dissolved in an instant. But who could bla them?

If anyone in this world were told that Emperor Sage's inheritance might finally be unlocked, even the calst expert would find it difficult to remain unmoved. Losing one's composure was entirely natural.

"It's fine," Damon said lazily, his arms resting behind his head as he sent a ssage to Elara.

"When I first ca back, I already suggested telling Ethan about the inheritance secret."

"Our Sky family has never had a true combat genius. Hoarding old secrets is aningless. It's better to share them and form a real cooperation."

"But now everyone got too excited, and Ethan saw it. If he gets unhappy and quits, that loss won't be small."

Elara frowned slightly before replying.

"Don't worry. Ethan won't give up so easily. He needs the Sage Token too."

Damon snorted softly.

"Third sister, why are you acting foolish at such a critical mont?"

"Who is Ethan?"

"Uncle Ghost couldn't suppress him. Even the commander-in-chief of the Heavenly Palace is wary of him."

"If he truly wanted a Sage Token, do you think he couldn't get one?"

"I don't know why he chose cooperation instead of force, but one thing is certain—Ethan has many ways to obtain a Sage Token."

"Judging from his conduct, he's upright, restrained, and disdainful of underhanded sches. He doesn't bother with insidious thods."

Elara fell silent.

She subconsciously glanced at Ethan, who stood calmly nearby, his expression indifferent yet composed.

After a mont, she replied slowly,

"You're right. My earlier thought was indeed shallow."

"If Ethan chose to cooperate with us, it ans he's giving our Sky family a chance."

"Whether we can seize it… depends on ourselves."

Damon smiled faintly.

"As expected of my third sister."

"At this point, it's not our Sky family choosing Ethan. It's Ethan choosing whether to give us a chance to rise again."

"Think about it—if Ethan wanted to leave, who could stop him?"

"Even if Father, Mother, and Uncle Ghost joined forces, they might not be able to force him to stay. And who knows how many trump cards he's still hiding."

"So the best option is simple—follow Ethan's intentions."

Elara nodded and looked toward her parents.

At this mont, Max and Bella had already made their decision.

They turned their gaze to Ethan.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Ethan," Max said solemnly.

"We lost our composure earlier."

"Our Sky family does indeed possess secrets related to Emperor Sage's inheritance."

"These secrets have been preserved for nearly ten thousand years and have never been disclosed to outsiders."

He paused, then continued firmly.

"Since Mr. Ethan values honesty, there is no reason for us to continue hiding."

With that, Max stood up.

Bella followed, as did Uncle Ghost and the others.

Seeing this, Ethan naturally rose as well.

Max placed his hands behind his back and walked out of the hall without another word.

Everyone followed.

Outside the main hall, Max stopped and turned to face Ethan.

"Mr. Ethan, today I will personally take you to see the true inheritance of my Sky family."

"You are the second non–Sky family mber to know this secret, after Uncle Ghost."

"I hope Mr. Ethan can keep this matter confidential."

Ethan smiled lightly.

"Master Max, rest assured. Since we cooperate honestly, I will not do anything that harms the Sky family's interests."

Max nodded deeply.

"Your words are enough. I believe in your character."

He turned and led the way.

The group moved swiftly through the inner regions of the Sky family.

Within minutes, they arrived at another mountain.

This area was heavily guarded by powerful defensive formations. Even standing outside, one could feel the oppressive aura pressing down from all directions. It was clearly a forbidden zone of the Sky family.

Max raised his hand.

The formation reacted instantly.

A translucent light curtain erged in midair, rippling like water.

Even a formation master would struggle to forcibly break through such defenses.

The Sky family's foundation was far deeper than outsiders imagined—only carefully hidden.

A token appeared in Max's hand.

He recited a low incantation.

The barrier trembled, ripples spreading outward as a vortex slowly ford, expanding into a stable entrance.

"Co in," Bella said softly as she stepped forward.

Ethan followed without hesitation.

The mont they passed through the formation, the world seed to change.

Before them lay an empty valley.

At its center stood an ancient altar of white jade, solemn and silent, built against a towering stone wall. Ti had eroded its edges, yet it still radiated a terrifying sense of antiquity and authority.

Everyone gathered before the altar.

Max turned to look at Ethan, his expression heavy with the weight of generations.

"Mr. Ethan, this is the ancestral land of our Sky family."

"My Sky family's ancestral land has always been protected by formation, excluding Uncle Ghost."
