As for realm, it was naturally Supre.
It was just that this young man was the weakest among the four—*weak* only in a relative sense.
After all, standing beside Tyler, the Commander-in-Chief of the Heavenly Palace, anyone would seem inferior.
Judging from his appearance and aura, this man was clearly young. He could not have cultivated for long. Most likely, he was a human genius with exceptional talent, deliberately brought out by the Palace of the Four Cycles.
Otherwise, he would not be qualified to stand at Tyler’s side.
"There’s soone next to the Commander-in-Chief of the Heavenly Palace," Damon said softly.
"Third Sister, can you tell what he is?"
Elara narrowed her eyes slightly, her gaze sharp as a blade.
"...I can’t be completely sure," she replied after a mont.
"But I can tell this much—he is not a pure human. He carries human blood, but it is not clean."
Damon’s expression changed subtly.
"Then don’t you find it strange?" he continued in a low voice.
"Other than dealings with our Sky family, the Palace of the Four Cycles rarely interacts with human cultivators."
"The Heavenly Palace commander appearing here with a human... I suspect they want him to participate in your son-in-law recruitnt."
Elara’s fingers tightened slightly around the edge of the table.
"Participate in my recruitnt?" she said coldly.
"The Palace of the Four Cycles doesn’t lack geniuses. Why would they go out of their way to insert a human into our Sky family?"
Damon leaned closer and whispered, his voice almost inaudible.
"To control us more tightly."
"If soone from the Palace of the Four Cycles becos your son-in-law, then every breath our Sky family takes in Blue-Wave City will be under their gaze."
Elara’s expression darkened.
"That would an we lose all freedom."
"On the surface, we enjoy glory—below one person, above ten thousand. But in reality, we’re walking on thin ice."
"If the Palace of the Four Cycles truly plants their people inside our core, then sooner or later, the Sky family will be hollowed out."
Her eyes flickered with a dangerous light.
"If that happens... we must eliminate them."
Damon fell silent.
After a mont, he let out a long sigh and leaned back lazily.
"These things are too big. Father and Mother will decide."
"If only our Sky family could produce a Perfect Supre... then we’d have the qualifications to leave the Demon Territory entirely."
Elara did not answer.
Her gaze returned to the arena.
At that mont, Sasha stood opposite Ethan, her posture upright, her eyes sharp and bright.
"Your na is Ethan, correct?" she asked calmly.
"Tell —where are you from?"
Ethan clasped his hands lightly, his expression unhurried.
"A loose cultivator from Netherfall Pass."
"I heard that a secret realm was about to open here, so I ca to see the world. Unexpectedly, Blue-Wave City turned out to be a rare treasure land."
"The energy of heaven and earth here is deep and pure. Cultivating here gives twice the result with half the effort."
"So I decided to stay for a long ti."
He paused briefly, then continued evenly:
"When I heard that the Sky family was recruiting guest elders, I thought I’d try my luck."
"If I can obtain the title of elder and reside in Blue-Wave City openly, that would suit well."
Sasha listened quietly, then nodded.
"A demon loose cultivator... that is rare indeed."
She straightened, cupped her hands, and spoke clearly:
"I am Sasha of the Sky family."
"As long as you defeat —or last for the ti it takes a stick of incense to burn—you will be deed qualified."
"After the seven-day recruitnt ends, our Sky family will select five people from among those who pass to beco guest elders."
"Their treatnt will be equal to that of Sky family elders."
"But whether you are chosen in the end will depend entirely on your performance."
She raised her hand.
A thin line of fla shot out and ignited a stick of incense in the distance.
"Enough words."
"Mr. Ethan—be careful."
Her eyes hardened.
In the next instant, a fierce montum erupted from her body.
Boom!
Blue flas surged, her aura sweeping across the arena like a raging tide.
The pressure alone forced many spectators to subconsciously retreat.
The Sky family head and his wife acted at the sa ti, their divine power unfolding into a massive barrier that sealed the arena from the outside.
Inside the barrier—
"It’s you who should be careful," Ethan replied calmly.
Bang!
The air exploded.
Sasha stamped on empty space, her figure transforming into a streak of blue fla as she charged straight at Ethan.
Her speed was terrifying—faster than lightning.
Ethan’s expression did not change.
He slowly raised his arm and extended his palm.
Golden Original Power surged.
A thick golden barrier condensed in front of him, lightning-like arcs twisting and writhing across its surface.
Boom!
A compressed fla sphere slamd into the barrier.
Golden and blue energies collided violently, spreading in concentric waves that shook the entire arena.
Boom boom boom!
The roar lasted several breaths.
When the dust and light settled, Sasha’s brows knitted slightly.
Her attack—did not break through.
Not even a crack.
What made her heart sink further was that Ethan’s palm still looked relaxed, as if he had barely exerted strength.
Her flas were being steadily consud by his golden power.
Sasha retreated, landing lightly several steps away.
She stared at Ethan with unprecedented seriousness.
This fox demon—
Was terrifyingly solid.
At the sa ti, the four figures from the Palace of the Four Cycles descended from the sky and landed beside the Sky family head and his wife.
The pressure in the air shifted subtly.
The Sky family head imdiately stood up, cupped his hands, and smiled politely.
"Commander Tyler," he said, his tone respectful.
"I am glad to et you. Why do you have the leisure and elegance to watch our Sky family’s recruitnt competition today?"
