[Please put the spiritual weapon that needs to be repaired into the repair machine.]

"Good."

Ethan nodded calmly. With a thought, he activated the repair machine. A translucent, ga-like interface unfolded before his eyes, layered with clean grids and softly glowing runes.

You only need to place the items you want to repair in the central inventory.

He took out the two pieces of the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell. The edges were jagged, the divine patterns fractured, but the ancient aura within them was still heavy and profound.

He aligned the two pieces carefully.

Click.

They rged in the inventory slot.

Ding~!

A line of text flashed.

[Detection successful. Repair possible.]

[Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell: Divine Artifact. Damage level: Primary.]

[Repair cost: 100 fishing points.]

[Current fishing value: 100]

[Do you wish to spend 100 fishing points to repair the Sky-Suppressing Turtle Shell?]

[Confirm] [Cancel]

Ethan did not hesitate.

Confirm.

The next instant, the repair machine swallowed the Turtle Shell whole. The interface vanished as the artifact was sealed within the repair furnace. Golden light erupted, surging and retreating in rhythmic pulses like a breathing star.

The furnace humd softly.

[Repairing… 23:59:06]

"A full day and night," Ethan muttered with a faint smile.

"Fine. I can wait."

At the sa ti.

Far to the north of Blue-Wave City, mountain ridges overlapped like coiled beasts. Between them, vast tribal-style structures sprawled across the land, their roofs gilded, their formations ancient and oppressive.

This was the territory of the Golden Phoenix Clan.

The place with the most abundant spiritual energy in all of Blue-Wave City and its surroundings.

The other three palaces of the Palace of the Four Cycles, along with countless surrounding clans and forces, could only grit their teeth and endure. No one dared challenge the Golden Phoenix Clan's occupation of this land.

Because its master was too strong.

Hidden Wind Cave.

Moonlight filtered down through a natural atrium, slipping past dense branches and leaves, mingling with the faint glow of candle flas.

The cave was quiet, clean, and restrained—simple stone furniture, a bed layered with soft mats, a table, two futons, a wardrobe, and a desk lined with ancient books.

A small pool lay beneath the atrium, surrounded by blooming spiritual flowers.

Lunara changed into clean robes and returned to the cave.

Normally, she rarely ca back.

She preferred staying at the residence of the Palace of the Four Cycles in Blue-Wave City. Seeing the clan mbers... seeing him... only made her feel sick.

But Valerius had co out of seclusion.

That alone forced her to return here every day.

Lunara stood before the bookshelf, pulling out an ancient volu. Her fingers traced the yellowed pages as she searched for records related to the hibiscus fruit.

Yet her thoughts kept drifting.

The inn.

Aether.

The calm, absolute confidence with which he spoke of breaking the blood contract.

Her heart still beat faster when she recalled it.

Once the blood contract is broken…

All the shackles on my body will vanish.

Her cultivation would soar.

And when she stepped into the Perfect Supre—

The first thing she would do was kill Valerius.

Everyone in the Golden Phoenix Clan would pay for what their clan leader had done.

Just then, a faint voice echoed within the cave.

"Lunara. It's so late... where were you?"

Her expression changed instantly.

But only for a mont.

She forced herself to calm down and turned around slowly.

A tall figure erged from the shadows at the corner of the cave.

Sharp features. Pale skin. Long golden hair cascading down his back. He stood with his hands behind him, his presence alone pressing down like a mountain.

Divine power radiated outward without restraint.

Valerius.

Chief Palace Master of the Palace of the Four Cycles.

Clan Leader of the Golden Phoenix Clan.

Her so called master.

The most outstanding genius the clan had produced in thousands of years.

The youngest Perfect Supre.

Dressed in a loose golden robe, its chest slit open to the abdon, revealing smooth skin and clearly defined muscles—coquettish, arrogant, and deliberately provocative.

"Master," Lunara said, lowering her head and cupping her fists.

Huh!

Golden light flashed.

Valerius appeared before her in an instant.

His fingers lifted her chin, forcing her to look up.

"My good disciple," he said softly, eyes roaming over her without restraint.

"You're becoming more and more beautiful. More… delicious."

A faint smile curved his lips.

"It's a pity. I still can't touch you."

His gaze traced her face, her neck, her body—missing nothing.

Lunara's teeth clenched so hard they almost cracked.

Nausea surged violently in her chest.

She wanted to smash his face to pieces.

To grind his soul into dust.

"It's been so many years," Valerius continued, sighing as if disappointed.

"And you still look at like that. Resisting."

She said nothing.

"Tell ," Valerius asked casually, "where did you go tonight?"

Silence.

His eyes darkened.

"Where did you go?!" he snapped.

His hand tightened suddenly.

Lunara's chin was crushed in his grip, half her face distorted by force. Pain exploded through her skull.

"I've… been walking around Blue-Wave City these past days," she said hoarsely.

"Looking for the roe deer spirit… the one that escaped three days ago."

"I want the truth."

Cold intent flooded the cave.

Frost spread across the stone walls, ice blooming where candlelight touched. The temperature plumted instantly.

This was the might of a Perfect Supre.

Though born of fla, Valerius possessed an incompatible ice power within his body—a terrifying duality that elevated his combat strength far above his peers.

"Master… everything this disciple said is true," Lunara forced out, her face turning purple under his grip.

"I felt guilty for letting it escape."

Valerius stared at her for a long mont.

Then he released her.

"I'll believe you once."

His voice turned cold.

"But if I find out you're fooling around with soone else… you know the consequences."

He snorted and turned away.

Lunara collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, her body trembling.

This was the gap.

She could battle an Ultimate Supre.

But facing a Perfect Supre like Valerius, there was no way she could fight back.
