"…they may be descendants of the Earth Demon like Azraeth V'khorath."

Ethan made his judgnt silently.

The Demon Clan of the Blackspire Mountains had always been a thorn in the side of the Azure Origin Dao Sect—and by extension, the entire Skyreach Territory. Blood debts between the two sides had piled up for countless years, irreconcilable and soaked in hatred.

Anyone related to the Black Demon Sect was an enemy.

That fact alone was enough.

"Go."

Ethan's thoughts moved.

An extrely faint strand of ntal energy slipped out from his fingertips, invisible and intangible, creeping along the ground like a shadow without form. It latched onto the last mber of the group, sinking into his body without causing the slightest fluctuation.

A perfect mark.

From now on, every movent of this team would be within Ethan's perception.

His gaze lingered on the leading woman for a brief mont, brows knitting together.

Sothing about her aura felt… wrong.

Not weak. Not unstable.

But mismatched.

"Heaven-piercing Mind Eyes, open."

The world changed.

Illusions peeled away layer by layer. False auras collapsed. Bloodlines were laid bare under his gaze.

"They're all demon clansn, disciples of the Black Demon Sect, with Earth Demon bloodlines…"

Ethan's pupils narrowed.

"This woman—she's human?"

Not half-demon.

Not possessed.

A genuine human body, human origin, human soul.

Yet the demonic energy around her was dense, pure, and tyrannical—proof that she had cultivated demonic techniques to an extrely deep level.

"Supre Realm…"

Ethan's interest deepened.

A human Supre acting as the leader of a Black Demon Sect team?

That alone made her an extraordinary figure.

After morizing her aura, Ethan turned and left without hesitation.

There was no need to act now.

Blue-Wave City ca first.

As long as the mark remained, the Black Demon Sect's team was already trapped inside his invisible web.

If they truly intended to enter the Training Trial Secret Realm…

Then that place would beco their burial ground.

Inside the Secret Realm, no one would know who killed whom.

.....

Not long after Ethan departed, the Black Demon Sect's group entered the inn and took a private room on the second floor.

The woman at the head removed her bamboo hat.

Silver hair cascaded down like moonlight, framing a delicate yet cold face. Her figure was slender, curves restrained but lethal, carrying the bearing of soone long accustod to command.

This woman was Kara.

Sect Master of the Black Demon Sect of Blackspire Mountains.

She sat calmly at the table and poured herself a cup of tea.

"We'll rest here for the night," Kara said indifferently.

"We leave at dawn."

She took a sip, then rested her chin on her hand, gazing through the narrow gap in the window, eyes unfocused.

"Sect Master," a young leader reported respectfully, "after entering the city, I gathered so information. The Training Trial is indeed a Secret Realm located in the Heavenly Water Mountains near Blue-Wave City."

"But entering requires quotas. There are said to be fifty in total, already divided among the major demon clans. Can we still enter?"

"Quotas?"

Kara laughed softly, cold and disdainful.

"Those are just surface rules."

Her fox-like ears twitched slightly, giving her an eerie, otherworldly charm.

"When the Training Trial Secret Realm first appeared, there were one hundred and eight Sage Tokens scattered across the Demon Territory."

"Without a Sage Token, even a Perfect Supre cannot forcibly enter."

"As ti passed, people gradually recovered those tokens."

"The secret scrolls of our Black Demon Sect record that sixty-eight Sage Tokens are within the Demon Territory. The remaining ones were taken elsewhere long ago."

"The so-called fifty quotas are rely rules set by the demon clans, led by the Palace of the Four Cycles."

"As long as one holds a Sage Token and sufficient strength, those rules can be ignored."

The young leader's eyes lit up.

"So that's how it is."

"Sect Master," another woman spoke up.

"Where do we obtain a Sage Token?"

This was Morwen.

Saintess of the Black Demon Sect, Kara's personal disciple.

Compared to years ago, her aura was sharper, her temperant calr, her pride restrained beneath discipline. The scars of defeat had been forged into resolve.

Sixth-turn Mahayana.

"This ti," Kara replied calmly, "the Demon Supre personally summoned us."

She waved her hand, sealing the private room completely.

Then, two purple-gold jade tokens appeared in her palm.

Each token was engraved with a ferocious grimace, translucent in texture, faintly exuding a bitter herbal scent.

"Sage Tokens."

Kara's voice was steady.

"The Demon Supre has been collecting them for many years. The Heavenly Demon Sect alone possesses fifteen."

"They keep five for themselves and distribute the remaining ten to the other five sects willing to participate in this Training Trial."

She put the tokens away.

Morwen and the others inhaled sharply.

"Sect Master," another disciple hesitated, "we are demons cultivating in demon territory, surrounded by powerful native demon clans. Isn't it too dangerous for us to co here seeking opportunities?"

"Danger?"

Kara's lips curved into a faint, mocking smile.

"You must understand one thing."

"Wealth is found in danger."

She leaned back slightly, eyes deep and distant.

"The secret scrolls of the Heavenly Demon Sect record that Emperor Sage is closely connected to the demon clan."

"Although he was not a demon, he is suspected to have inherited part of the legacy of the Demon Ancestor Xarion Veldrith."

"Only then was he able to carve open the Imperial Path and ascend as a Great Emperor."

Her gaze sharpened.

"It is extrely likely that the Training Trial Secret Realm contains clues related to the Demon Ancestor's inheritance."

"That alone is reason enough for us to co."

"Even if we fail to uncover those secrets, obtaining so treasures or partial inheritances would still make this journey worthwhile."

Kara had only learned these truths after the Demon Supre summoned them to the Demon Ancestor Altar.

She knew.

They were being used.

But even as pawns, the bait was irresistible.

Because whether it was the trial of Training Trial Secret Realm or the news related to the inheritance of the Demon Ancestor, it was extrely tempting.
