They had already drawn their bows; the arrow was on the string.

Retreating now would make them a laughingstock. Naturally, none of the assembled powerhouses wished to leave empty-handed.

Alex Thunderhall took a step forward, cupping his hands respectfully.

"So it turns out to be the Blood Marquis. It is an honor to et you."

"We have no intention of becoming enemies with the Blood Tavern. However... isn’t it inappropriate for Ethan to swallow all the treasures by himself?"

Asher blinked slowly.

"Inappropriate?"

His smile widened.

"What’s inappropriate? Treasures belong to the strongest. Whoever grabs them deserves them."

His tone was light, even friendly—but no one dared mistake it for kindness.

Then, Asher turned to Ethan and nodded.

"Boy, I’m sorry for being late. I should’ve been here earlier, but I ran into a group of troublemakers and fought them for a bit. Wasted so ti."

Ethan cupped his hands deeply.

"Senior, you speak too highly of ."

"Don’t worry," Asher said, voice turning calm and deadly.

"Since I’m here, all those who bullied you earlier will pay the price."

Drake frowned. "Asher... I truly didn’t expect you to appear."

Asher looked him up and down with exaggerated disappointnt.

"Oh? I almost didn’t recognize you. Turns out you’re still Old Ghost Drake. What happened? After all these years, you’re still stuck at Interdiate Supre? Did you stop training halfway?"

"You...!" Drake’s face flushed.

"You’re as sharp-tongued as ever!"

"Alright, enough," Asher waved lazily. "Don’t waste my ti. I’m here to help my junior."

"Hmph. Then I’ll put it plainly," Drake said, straightening.

"All of us joined forces against a mysterious powerhouse. We seized many treasures. Two artifacts. And this kid Ethan took ALL of them. Isn’t that going too far?!"

"That’s right," Anthony Deepvale added quickly.

"By reason and emotion, Ethan should hand over the treasures so we may divide them equally."

"My Ashenvale family doesn’t want treasure!" Jared roared.

"We only want Ethan’s LIFE!"

"Ah, okay, okay..." Asher nodded repeatedly, picking at his ear lazily.

"I hear you."

He looked at all of them.

"So? Is that all?"

Hearing Asher’s seemingly reasonable response, Alex Thunderhall sighed with relief.

"In that case, since the Blood Tavern understands fairness, let us begin dividing the treasures. My Thunderhall family has no objections."

"My Deepvale family agrees as well."

"I—"

Suddenly, Asher’s expression flipped.

His smile vanished.

His eyes sharpened like blades.

His voice dropped to a predator’s growl.

"Negotiate terms... with MY Blood Tavern?"

He vanished.

In the next instant—

BOOM!

He appeared directly before Jared Ashenvale.

Jared’s mind blanked.

He’s attacking ?!

"So fast!" Ethan’s pupils shrank.

Is this the strength of the Blood Marquis?

Before Jared could react, Asher grabbed his face with one hand and lifted him off the ground like a struggling child.

Then—

WHAM!

Asher tossed Jared into the air, turned elegantly, and delivered a brutal kick to his ribs.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Three ribs shattered instantly.

Jared coughed blood mid-air before smashing into the ground like a broken sack.

Asher landed lightly, eyes glowing with cold killing intent.

"You dared to threaten soone from MY Blood Tavern?"

His voice was calm—too calm.

"Today, everyone who bullied my people... will pay with BLOOD."

Before anyone could breathe—

He vanished again.

This ti, even Drake panicked.

"Asher—WAIT—!"

But Asher was already gone.

A streak of blood lightning streaked across the mountains west of Noble Sun City.

The battlefield shifted rapidly.

Mountains rippled like waves, pitted with imnse craters and bottomless fissures.

In the heart of the valley, a blazing red light flashed through the air, moving faster than thunder and leaving afterimages no one could track.

Drake’s expression was grim as sweat ford on his palms.

He spun rapidly, trying to follow Asher’s movents—but Asher was too fast. He could barely even see a blur.

Asher was like a wolf among sheep.

Every ti the blood-red light touched soone—

BOOM!

A Supre expert went flying.

So lost ribs; so lost arms; so were kicked across mountains like sandbags.

Spectators gathered outside the forest, standing atop fallen trees and shattered rocks, eyes wide with disbelief.

"What... what kind of power is this?"

"That’s the Blood Marquis?!"

"I heard rumors... but seeing it... this is insane!"

No one could believe it.

One man—ONE—was tearing through several Supres simultaneously, whittling them down like vegetables being chopped on a cutting board.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Three bodies shot into the air.

Alex Thunderhall, Jared Ashenvale, and Anthony Deepvale all vomited blood mid-flight, smashing into the ground with frightful force.

They had thought that by joining forces, they could resist Asher.

They had thought their Interdiate Supre realms granted them equal standing.

They were wrong.

Fatally wrong.

Asher wasn’t fighting them.

He was punishing them.

The Blood Tavern had planted a monster in Skyreach Territory—one that no force here could possibly defeat.

And then, there was Ethan.

If he grew further...

If he reached the Supre Realm...

If he wielded divine weapons freely...

It was terrifying just imagining the future.

Drake trembled as he watched Asher cut down the strongest elites of three major families. His heart clenched with cold fear.

Then—

The blood streak moved again.

This ti, River and Reed—who had been backing away—felt a chill crawl up their spines.

Asher’s killing intent locked onto them like a venomous serpent.

They split in opposite directions instantly.

"Hmph. Think you can run?"

Asher’s mouth curved.

His speed spiked.

In the blink of an eye, he appeared before Reed.

BANG!

A straight punch—clean and devastating—sent Reed hurtling into the sky.

Asher leapt after him, kicked Reed upward again, then caught him mid-air by the arm, spun twice—

And launched him directly toward River like a human cannonball.

WHOOSH!

River’s eyes widened.

He caught his brother reflexively—

Only for the massive force to crash into him.

PUH!!

He coughed blood and collapsed as both brothers rolled across the ground.

Around them, silence fell.

"Why is this Blood Marquis so strong?!"
