This Ethan was absolutely not soone they could afford to offend.

Both Alix and Shia instantly understood who Zeon ant when he said Brother Ethan. There was only one Ethan in the Blood Tavern. Only one na that had shaken the entirety of Skyreach Territory in recent months. Only one monstrous talent who leaped into the heavens and carved his na with blood.

They exchanged a horrified glance.

Their throats tightened.

Their minds went blank.

They didn’t know what to do.

But Alix knew one thing clearly—

If they didn’t solve this situation imdiately, they might be buried here before Ethan even arrived.

"I—I dare to ask... who exactly is this Brother Ethan?" Alix asked again, this ti bowing even lower, his voice nearly trembling.

He prayed silently in his heart—

Please... please let it be another Ethan... not that one...

Zeon sneered, folding his arms as he looked down like he was watching two fools dig their own graves.

"What do you think? There’s only one Ethan in the Blood Tavern."

He smirked, eyes filled with mockery.

"You an you didn’t even bother to ask around before robbing people?"

"You actually dared to chase Brother Ethan’s friend... I’m afraid even the Heavens themselves can’t save you."

Zeon shook his head and sighed dramatically.

Then he descended lightly, landing beside Ashira.

"Miss Ashira, are you hurt?"

He circled around her, checking her condition with surprising seriousness.

Ashira had visited the Blood Tavern several tis, so she instantly recognized him. She cupped her hands politely.

"Thank you for your concern, Brother Zeon. I’m not injured."

Zeon clicked his tongue.

"Not bad appearance, good figure, gentle personality... and a transford monster at that. Brother Ethan really has all the luck with won... tsk tsk."

"Why is Ethan so attractive to beautiful won?" Zeon muttered, rubbing his chin.

"Ahem." Zeon coughed, regaining his composure.

Magnus and the other three Blood Tavern elites descended behind him, their presence suffocating.

"Thank you, Brother Magnus, and seniors," Ashira said respectfully.

"No need to be polite," Magnus replied.

"A friend of Brother Ethan is a friend of mine."

Then he glanced toward the tied group.

"What do you plan to do with these two?"

Ashira hesitated.

This was the first ti she’d been placed in such a situation.

Alix and Shia’s expressions instantly turned ugly. Fear flooded their eyes.

Before Ashira could even think, Alix dropped to his knees.

"Miss Ashira, we truly ant no offense. Please... let us go."

"We can offer treasures, ancient herbs, rare monsters—anything! As long as Miss Ashira will be rciful!"

Alix was the Supre Elder of a sect, yet he abandoned dignity without hesitation.

He knew the rules of survival.

If you want to live, you must show sincerity.

No one is obligated to be kind.

Ashira swallowed nervously.

She wasn’t used to this.

But she also knew that the Blood Tavern stepped in only because of Ethan. Without him, none of this would have happened.

After thinking for a mont, she said softly:

"Senior Brother Ethan will be here soon... I will let him decide."

Magnus nodded approvingly.

"That’s fine. We’ll wait for Brother Ethan."

"Lock!"

Zeon flicked his fingers.

A golden rope materialized—clearly an immortal grade spiritual treasure. It shot through the air and coiled around Alix, Shia, and Houda in an instant.

"W-what—!?"

Houda struggled frantically, but his face quickly paled when he realized his spiritual energy had gone silent.

"Master, what now?!"

Alix’s face was bleak.

"There is no escape. This rope is definitely not mortal. My spiritual energy can’t move at all."

"Master... are we just waiting for death...?"

Alix sighed deeply.

"Although it’s cruel, we hit a steel wall. All we can do now is pray that Ethan is not a ruthless man."

Shia added, "Houda, this is the world of cultivators. Life and death depend on power. The strong devour the weak. Rember this."

"If there is truly no way out... the Supre Elder and I will fight to buy you a path."

Houda clenched his fists helplessly, head hanging.

It was the first ti he felt such suffocating despair.

In the sect, he was admired by all.

But here, he wasn’t even qualified to breathe loudly.

Three minutes passed in heavy silence.

The center of the valley finally quieted.

The battle between Iris, the Holy Land of Endless Mountains, the city lord, and the Myriad Treasures Pavilion had paused, but the tension in the air remained razor-sharp.

Magnus narrowed his eyes in the direction of the valley.

"That mysterious Supre Realm expert... her strength is terrifying. Seven Supre experts attacked together, and she still stood firm."

"Her combat power is ridiculous," Zeon agreed.

"If this continues, they’ll have to resort to tricks."

Just then—

Both n sensed a familiar aura approaching rapidly.

"Brother Ethan is here."

Zeon turned his head.

Three figures descended like streaks of light.

Ethan, Althea, and Solara had arrived.

"Brother Zeon, Brother Magnus." Ethan cupped his hands lightly.

"Brother Ethan, you ca just in ti."

"Just in ti to et a few blind fools who dared to bully Ashira."

Zeon pointed at the tied trio.

Ethan’s gaze fell on them.

Cold. Sharp. rciless.

Alix, Shia, and Houda’s scalps went numb—

It was like staring into the eyes of a prival beast.

"Ashira, are you alright?" Althea asked gently.

"I’m fine..." Ashira explained everything.

Ethan’s expression darkened.

"The Royal Beast Sect... who gave you the courage to think you could make Ashira your sect beast?" Ethan said calmly, but every word carried killing intent.

Alix imdiately slamd his head against the ground.

"Mr. Ethan! We didn’t know she was your friend! Please, forgive our ignorance! Spare us just this once!"

"My sect master and I are willing to abolish our cultivation, offer our storage rings, and even hand over our contracted spiritual pets! Please spare my disciple!"

Shia and Houda kowtowed desperately.

Ethan remained unmoved.

He glanced toward the valley, then responded.

"You can avoid death—but not punishnt. The three of you will abolish your cultivation, and I want five ninth-level monsters with rare blood from your Royal Beast Sect."
