"I feel like I’ve made an old friend today—Miss Seraphina, why don’t we go to the Fragrant Zither Pavilion in the city for so tea?" Cain Ashenvale invited with a gentle smile.

"Then I’ll be disrespectful." Seraphina responded with a slight smile, instinctively eager to seize this opportunity.

"Good, then please, Miss Seraphina, follow ," Cain said amiably, turning swiftly to the east.

The pavilion he headed for was renowned as the finest teahouse within Noble Sun City—the Fragrant Zither Pavilion.

This place was not ordinary; it was not accessible to outsiders without invitation.

"Saint, are you sure about going?" Edwin asked via voice transmission, his tone cautious.

"Being able to make friends with Young Master Cain in the Holy Land could greatly benefit and the Azure Origin Dao Sect," Seraphina replied softly, her tone calm yet resolute.

"Alright," Edwin said after a mont of silent contemplation.

He didn’t press further—sothing about Cain Ashenvale left him with an indescribable feeling.

Though outwardly kind and gracious, Cain was no ordinary youth.

"You don’t need to follow us," the beautiful middle-aged woman, a senior figure among Cain’s entourage, reminded him, her tone sharp and commanding.

"His Excellency only invited her for tea, not you," she added coldly.

Edwin and his companions faces flickered with embarrassnt and indignation, feeling humiliated yet powerless.

There was no choice but to step back—Arrogant as Cain Ashenvale was, he was far beyond their reach.

"In that case, Your Highness the Saint, we shall wait here at the inn nearby," Edwin decreed softly, leading his team to the inn.

Cain’s side by side with Seraphina, inspecting her beauty with a calculating gaze.

A strange smile flickered across his lips as he carefully scrutinized her and the cold breath around her.

This Seraphina was the unmistakable Ice Spirit Soul Body, fully awakened and at its peak.

Having the best ice spirit root, she was an excellent material for cultivating into a perfect Four Spirit Holy Body!

This realization made Cain’s eyes gleam with interest.

On the other hand.

Ethan had already explored the first and second floors of the Myriad Treasures Pavilion.

The Pavilion’s reputation spread across the continent, known for its unparalleled rare treasures.

Elixirs, herbs, spiritual plants, materials, formations, talismans, spiritual weapons, spiritual tools—all dazzled and overwheld.

Still, after browsing through two floors, Ethan found nothing suitable for his needs and cultivation.

So he headed to the third floor.

This space was smaller, with fewer people.

"I’m looking at the top spiritual martial arts," Ethan murmured, observing the array of extraordinary items—elixirs, rare herbs, high-level formations—all worth fighting over.

Yet, he suddenly sensed an extrely familiar aura of fire energy.

Walking over, Ethan scrutinized a space in the corner.

There in a transparent box was a fist sized orange-red crystal—glowing intensely, filled with a potent essence and blood.

He stared intently, and suddenly, a strange fluctuation within the Phoenix Egg in his storage ring stirred.

His gaze sharpened.

"This is..." Ethan whispered, eyes flickering with realization. "The Phoenix Blood Crystal!"

The reaction inside his storage was no coincidence.

The Phoenix Blood Crystal could only be born where a phoenix had fallen—Moreover, the Land of the Fall must have extrely high quality spiritual jade..

the high quality spiritual jade will then absorb blood of phoenix, rging with their essence and blood to form the rarest blood crystal.

This crystal, ford from rich blood and essence, was an invaluable tonic especially suited for monster beasts and physical cultivators.

It explained the strong reaction of the Phoenix Egg.

"Even though this Phoenix Blood Crystal is rich in blood and essence, it isn’t enough for a breakthrough," Ethan murmured.

"It’s best suited for hatching phoenix eggs, not my current stage."

He pondered for a mont, then pointed at the Phoenix Blood Crystal.

"Boss, how much for this?"

The shopkeeper showed a knowing smile.

"This item is high quality, less than 100,000 years old. You can exchange it for a top spiritual weapon or pay with spiritual crystals," she explained.

"Twelve thousand spiritual crystals of top quality," she said.

The price was steep.

Ethan’s brow furrowed.

Spiritual stones and crystals were divided into grades, with top tier resources costing a fortune.

Ten to twenty thousand top-grade crystals was a fortune so sects only accumulated in a year.

Exchanging for a Phoenix Blood Crystal ant a significant loss, yet it could also bring imnse benefits—like forging powerful weapons or awakening bloodlines.

He hesitated, weighing the options.

Exchanging spiritual crystals was straightforward but costly.

Buying with the crystals was expensive but simpler.

"Sir, don’t bla the high price on the expense of spiritual crystals," the shopkeeper said softly.

"Many treasures and spiritual weapons are priceless, and spiritual crystals are common currency among cultivators."

Ethan nodded, acknowledging her point.

He had over 200,000 top-grade crystals, nearly 10,000 spirit marrow, and more than a thousand top grade spiritual marrow—an abundant reserve.

Yet, he still hesitated.

After all, high-level spiritual crystals were vital for absorbing energy from formations and puppets.

They weren’t needed daily—only strategically.

"You should spend wisely," Ethan muttered to himself.

The crystal lines on the Phoenix Egg shone brightly, responding subtly.

"Twelve thousand, I want it," he declared decisively, showing his invitation letter.

The shopkeeper’s eyes flickered.

"mbers of the Blood Tavern—yes, you can get a 10% discount," she confird with a nod.

Ethan’s expression was calm.

He exchanged a glance with the shopkeeper, whose attitude explained her familiarity with the Blood Tavern.

Ethan’s desire was clear.

He pressed his invitation token, and his aura imdiately revealed a significant backing.

The shopkeeper’s gaze tightened with respect and suspicion.

"Very good," she said softly, "Your strength surpasses ordinary cultivators. The Blood Tavern’s reputation is not fabricated."

Ethan nodded politely.

"Thank you."

The silver lines on the Phoenix Egg flickered, resounding to his command.

He paid the price, committed to nurturing this rare treasure and making it his strongest aid.
