The room was silent but charged with tension. Kara’s eyes, sharp and calculating, held the weight of inevitable decisions.

"And we have to hide ourself and act secretly," she said with a voice that carried both command and caution.

"We only need to break open the Demon Sealing Cave, rescue the Ancestor and the suppressed demons inside, and then quickly evacuate and return to Blackspire Mountain to accumulate strength," Kara continued, outlining the plan with cold precision.

The great elder, seated across from her, furrowed his brow, uncertainty evident. "What about the resources? Do you want them anymore?"

Kara considered briefly before replying, "If you have the chance, just take it. If you don’t, don’t force it." Her tone softened ever so slightly, but the firm logic remained.

"After all, that is not our ho ground. If we occupy it with all our strength, it will be equivalent to declaring war on the Skyreach Territory. We have not accumulated enough strength. We cannot rush to war without receiving instructions from the Demon Lord."

The elder nodded solemnly. "The sect master is still thoughtful. I will ask the spies to report back to the Wisteria Cloud Valley."

Kara’s lips curled into a subtle, calculating smile as she added, "Wait a minute. Tell Wisteria Cloud Valley clearly that if we cooperate, the ti for action cannot exceed half a year at the latest, and the specific day is up to us to decide. They must help us break through the Demon Sealing Cave first; otherwise, there is no need to discuss anything!"

"OK," the elder replied, a touch of respect in his voice.

Kara’s brow furrowed as she asked, "However, I have a question—why is the ti set at half a year?"

"It’s because just now, the Ancestor used the soul secret thod to send news. The ultimate inheritance of the Azure Origin Dao Sect was claid!"

Kara’s voice dropped into a serious tone. "They now have the ans to completely kill our lineage of earth demons. Even the Ancestor can’t compete with them. He only has half a year left!"

The great elder gasped sharply, disbelief flooding his expression. "What?! How is this possible?"

Kara’s calm logic cut through the tension like a blade.

"Nothing is impossible. You must know that the founder of the Azure Origin Dao Sect, The Blue Void Ancestor, was a peerless genius. He amazed the entire Skyreach Territory thousands of years ago and is considered a famous and powerful cultivator in the Continent."

She continued, "The inheritance he left behind has the power to kill the ancestors. It’s not surprising."

"Damn it... who opened up the ultimate inheritance of the Azure Origin Dao Sect? Damn it. Was it Ethan who suddenly rose up before and caused us to lose a secret agent?" the great elder guessed, frustration flashing in his eyes.

"Ethan... If you say that, it really might be him," Kara nodded grimly.

Changing the subject, she asked, "By the way, is there any news about that boy?"

"The four commanders of the Dark Devil Secret Guard set out with the Saint. They have been stationed in the mountains five hundred miles south of the Azure Origin Dao Sect for a long ti. After the Secret Demon Guard’s inquiries, there has been no news about Ethan."

The elder’s voice lowered. "However, the Saint and the four commanders decided to find a way to get rid of Althea, the Peak Master of Sword Peak."

Kara scoffed softly, "This kid Ethan is so cautious, like a turtle with his head shrinking..."

The elder nodded in agreent. "Let’s get rid of Althea first. After all, that woman’s talent is not much worse than Lyralei. If she is allowed to continue to grow, sooner or later she will be the next Empress of the Azure Origin Dao Sect."

"Okay." The great elder nodded once more.

Kara’s eyes grew sharp again as she commanded, "Send a ssage to the Saint later, telling them to act with caution and absolutely not to be reckless. If their identity is exposed, they must retreat imdiately and leave the Skyreach Territory quickly."

"Understood, I’ll do it now," Bone Prison said as he handed over the task and left the room.

Alone, Kara whispered to herself, "Azure Origin Dao Sect... your good days are over!" A sneer appearing in the corner of her eyes, reflecting the ruthless resolve burning within.

.....

Far away, in the quiet grandeur of Wisteria Cloud Valley, inside the study room of Wisteria Veil, three figures sat around a table—the brother and sister, Wisteria Veil and Wisteria Gale, accompanied by the Supre Elder Obsidian.

The study door abruptly opened, and a secret guard dressed in black night clothes with his face masked hurried inside. He knelt with disciplined precision and cupped his hands respectfully.

"I have t the Deputy Sect Master and the Supre Elder."

"We have a ssage from the Black Demon Sect," he added swiftly.

Wisteria Veil, her purple hair shimring under the soft candlelight and golden eyes sharp with curiosity, asked, "Um? So fast, what did they say?"

The secret guard extended a jade pendant onto the floor, the reply from the Black Demon Sect contained within.

Wisteria Veil raised her slender palm, and the jade pendant floated smoothly into her hand as she motioned, "Go down."

"Yes!" The guard responded promptly, standing and closing the door gracefully behind him.

In the study’s silence, Wisteria Veil released her ntal energy to trigger the jade pendant. The information, condensed by her ntal power, began to materialize before the three seated figures.

The ssage was brief but packed with unyielding resolve.

"We, the Black Demon Sect, reluctantly cooperate with your Wisteria Cloud Valley, but the specific ti and command and dispatch of the operation will be decided by our Black Demon Sect, and the ti will not be later than half a year."

"By then, we will send enough combat power to sneak into the vicinity of Azure Origin Dao Sect, launching a raid with you."

"However, after attacking the Azure Origin Dao Sect, you must first help us break through the Demon Sealing Cave and liberate the people of the Demon Sect inside, so that we can better help you completely defeat the Azure Origin Dao Sect."

"In addition, our Black Demon Sect is not interested in the resources of the Azure Origin Dao Sect, but we need to go to the Azure Origin Dao Sect’s inheritance place to have a look."

"There is one last condition. Ethan of the Azure Origin Dao Sect must die!"

The ntal image faded, leaving a chilling silence.

Wisteria Veil folded the jade pendant carefully, her voice steady as she remarked, "Sure enough, Big Brother guessed it right. This Black Demon Sect is really willing to cooperate with us."

She paused, eyes thoughtful. "The background of the Black Demon Sect is no worse than that of the Azure Origin Dao Sect. They look down on the second-rate sects."

Her voice softened with a hint of lancholy. "However, our Wisteria Cloud Valley is no longer what it used to be."
