Hearing Oswin’s analysis laid out in full, Adam couldn’t help but fall silent.
When he had first walked in and caught wind of the shocking news about the South-Subduing King’s rebellion, he had been so startled that he hadn’t really stopped to think things through.
Now, turning Oswin’s words over in his head again, he realized that the sudden appearance of this Spirit Vein really was far too bizarre.
Could it really be true, that the Sixth Heaven and Earth Upheaval had already arrived, exactly as Oswin had warned a few days back?

He had thought, originally, that there was still a fair stretch of ti before the Sixth Heaven and Earth Upheaval would occur. He hadn’t expected the signs of it to already be surfacing right now.
Adam understood clearly that the sudden ergence of a Spirit Vein within the South-Subduing King’s territory was an obvious on.
This was still only the initial stage of things, and yet the opportunities being born from it were already pushing Silver Willow toward the faint beginnings of internal strife.
Once the great upheaval of heaven and earth reached a certain depth, all sorts of rare heavenly treasures would start appearing.
By that ti, the various major factions would no doubt break out into massive brawls, scrambling tooth and nail over every single one of those fortuitous opportunities.
The whole of Silver Willow would instantly turn into a living purgatory, without even a sliver of peace left in it.
