Diana's bold proclamation caught the attention of everyone present: The Commissioner, the police, reporters, and civilians. Even Superman and Flash widened their gazes, though they hadn't gone that far.

Superman paused briefly as he hovered in the sky and looked back, his brows furrowed. However, he only did this for a mont before turning away and leaving, Flash following his lead.

With so much going on right now, it was not the ti to divert attention toward Diana.

At the very least, Superman knew that the governnt wouldn't allow her to act as she pleased, no matter whom she was connected with. The Commissioner felt the sa and was worried about the possible consequences her words might bring.

He hurriedly turned to his officers and said, "Get these reporters out of here."

The officers reacted imdiately, beginning to move the reporters away, many of whom protested.

"Hey, hey! What are you doing?"

"Hey, stop! This is against my rights!"

"I can sue you for this, you know!"

The Commissioner then turned his gaze toward Diana but was unsure what to say to her. If this were Harley, it would've been a much simpler matter, but with Diana, he understood she had a different set of beliefs, and her intentions were indeed good.

Unfortunately, the Commissioner needed to stand by the laws of the land. But before he could approach her to speak, his phone rang.

The Commissioner didn't think there would be any call important enough to interrupt him right now, but he suspected this was likely his higher-ups, wanting him to deal with the situation quickly.

He reached into his trench coat, not looking forward to the call. When he removed it, he saw an unknown caller ID. This caused him to furrow his brows as he answered, "Hello, who is this?"

In response, he heard Arias's familiar voice, "It's been a while, Commissioner. I hope you're in good health."

"Arias," the Commissioner muttered, with a bit of confusion. Thankfully, due to the ongoing commotion, the reporters didn't hear what he said.

However, Diana did, and she imdiately diverted her gaze toward him and flew over. "Is that friend Arias? Please allow to speak."

The Commissioner turned to face the bold Amazon now standing before him, with an unsure expression on his face.

"Commissioner, please hand her the phone. It's actually why I'm calling."

The Commissioner didn't hesitate to hand over the phone, sensing that Arias was about to handle the situation for him. Upon taking the phone, Diana introduced herself formally, "This is Princess Diana. Friend Arias, can you hear ?"

"I can hear you just fine, Diana. You don't need to introduce yourself every ti you answer a call," Arias replied.

"Apologies, I very rarely use this technology."

Arias responded, "I see."

Though Diana was a bit naive, she wasn't dumb. She knew Arias's call likely had to do with what she had just done. "Are you calling about the man I executed?"

Arias answered imdiately, "Well, yes and no. I was already going to establish communication with you, but your actions have definitely caused to call earlier than I anticipated."

Diana showed a worried look. "Was I wrong in doing this? You said so yourself that these people never learn, and the cycle only continues. I only did what I felt was best."

Thinking that Arias didn't appreciate her actions, Diana was quick to try and explain her reasoning. Being an Amazon, she never ran away from responsibility. She would simply state her side and honestly divulge why she did what she did.

However, Arias couldn't care less about so low-ti rapist or the consequences of killing him, especially given what he had planned. It didn't matter if Diana killed multiple people, as it wouldn't affect the general direction of his plans.

"No, you did well. At the very least, the woman you saved will be very grateful to you. But it's also important to respect the laws of the land you're in. So, the Commissioner will have to arrest you for what you did, and you'll go to court to be held accountable. I'm sure rcy will reach out to you to provide help with this."

Diana was sowhat disappointed by Arias's words, as she had expected him to fully support her actions and deem that she did nothing wrong. This was the spoiled part of her nature; being a princess, she was used to things going her way, and Arias knew this. However, that wasn't the reason he told her what he did.

Arias knew that, since he had called the Commissioner through his official line, it was likely being tapped, and the phone call was probably being recorded. Even if it wasn't, Arias wasn't going to reveal his true thoughts over an unsecured line.

Furthermore, by saying what he said, he would at least influence Diana's ntality toward acting on her whims. But it didn't stop there...

For now, though, Arias didn't add much more, only saying, "Please hand the phone back to the Commissioner."

Upon handing the phone back, the Commissioner answered, "Well, have you spoken to her? This is going to beco a tricky matter to resolve."

"Yes, go ahead and arrest her."

The Commissioner was taken aback by the statent but sensed Arias had an underlying plan, so he agreed. "Well, all right. Is there anything else?"

Arias declined. "No, nothing else. I'm currently dealing with a lot in Markovia, so please just ensure the city is safe."

Still not sure what Arias was planning exactly, the Commissioner could only agree. "All right."

As soon as the call ended, the Commissioner turned toward Wonder Woman and said,

"Wonder Woman, you're under arrest."
