God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 45: Servers And The Player Dimension
As if to affirm Weiss’ thoughts, Alice interjected.
[Yes, that’s true. Even I can’t affect the main system and can only give suggestions to it. However, it’s programd to assist you, so as long as you don’t break major rules, it will mostly turn a blind eye if you only make minor offenses.]
[An example of a major rule is that you can’t take the ga items obtained by the players for yourself. After all, if you do that, it will be a loophole to obtaining ga items. As a ga developer, you can only obtain ga items by purchasing ga items in the Ga Item Shop using Dev points. It’s against the rules to steal the ga items of players.]
[However, to prevent players from threatening your life or your interests, the main system won’t prevent you from killing players or even depriving them of their powers and ga items. In this way, you can steal the ga items or powers of players as long as you destroy them imdiately and never use them for yourself or others.]
[The main system was only given by the higher existences to assist you in preventing the end of Blue Star. You aren’t tasked to save every human but are at least tasked to ensure that the majority of humans are still alive.]
Hearing Alice’s explanation, Weiss wasn’t surprised much since he already expected this. He was glad that his system wasn’t that strict so he had a lot of freedom when it ca to dealing with those players that threatened his interests.
After Weiss assured Aya, Weiss left the kitchen room and headed back to his room.
Arriving at his room, Weiss closed the door and went to lie on his bed.
"From what Aya told , she would leave the house for a week starting from tomorrow to et up with her friend. I can spend the rest of the ti focusing on updating so features in Zombie Survival Online such as the strear benefits and live stream feature."
With that in mind, Weiss summoned the system nu and tapped on [Workplace].
Afterward, Weiss used the ga developing tool and he entered the Ga Workshop.
…
In the Ga Workshop, Weiss was transported to a realm with nothing but black in the background. However, there was a floating orb in front of Weiss which seed to contain an entire universe.
It was none other than the universe of Zombie Survival Online.
"If I’m not mistaken, all of the gas I created should be in the form of an orb in the Ga Workshop. Since I have only created one ga, there is only one orb in this dark void."
Without any hesitation, Weiss placed his right hand on the ZSO orb, causing his consciousness to be transported inside the ga universe of Zombie Survival Online.
The scenery changed and Weiss was no longer in the previous dark void. He was currently in a seemingly infinite universe.
In the infinite universe, countless colorful lights were flickering which represented the stars in the universe.
Those stars looked miniature in front of Weiss and they looked like colorful and glittering specks of dust.
However, in front of Weiss, there were three huge orbs. Furthermore, there was one smaller orb revolving around each of the three huge orbs.
The three huge orbs were like galaxies in the infinite universe. On the other hand, the smaller orbs around each of the huge orbs were a dinsion separate from the galaxy.
"The three servers are working out pretty well. Server 1 has already reached a thousand players and two days had already passed in that server."
"Server 2 is currently in its second week while Server 3 was newly created to accommodate new players. There are currently six hundred seventy-five players in server 3 and it won’t be long until they start playing the ga."
Weiss nodded in satisfaction after observing the servers of Zombie Survival Online.
Whenever a server was already full and couldn’t accommodate new players, another server would be automatically created without Weiss’ interference. He had already programd the Ga AI to do that for him.
Out of curiosity, Weiss entered the small orb revolving around server 2.
When Weiss entered it, he arrived at a dinsion where countless players were sleeping.
No, to be exact, it was the physical bodies of those players.
"After soone plays my ga, their physical body will leave the real world and it will be transported to this player dinsion for safety reasons. But whether this dinsion is truly safe or not, then it depends on my intentions as the ga developer."
Muttering those words, Weiss floated towards an adult man wearing a formal business suit.
The adult man was completely asleep. His consciousness was in Server 2, occupying a player body so his real body was stored in this dinsion.
Weiss forwarded his hand and a kitchen knife appeared on his right palm. Gripping the kitchen knife, Weiss slashed it towards the neck of the adult man.
But before his kitchen knife could behead the adult man, the adult man’s real body disappeared in an instant.
"Tch! I was so close to killing an enemy of the Shiro Clan. Oh well, I can kill him when he returns to play Zombie Survival Online."
Weiss knew that the adult man had died in Server 2. Since it was a ga over for him, his consciousness left the player body and it was returned to the real world along with his real body.
Not wanting his kitchen knife to be created in vain, Weiss floated in the player dinsion until he arrived at a sleeping bearded man with a scar on his right eye.
When a player enters his ga, Weiss would have information about their identities and even their mories if he wanted to pry into it.
The identity of the bearded man with a right eye scar was none other than a wanted criminal who had murdered eighteen people without getting caught.
The scar on his right eye was when one of his victims resisted and slashed his right eye but that victim of his had still failed to kill the bearded man.
Weiss knew that if this serial killer was able to obtain power, he would kill potential players and that would be a loss for Weiss.
Raising his kitchen knife, Weiss muttered, "That enemy of the Shiro Clan might be lucky, but I don’t believe this murderer has the sa luck as that guy."
