God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 36: Weiss Becomes An S-rank Awakener In The Real Wor
After logging out from Zombie Survival Online, Weiss returned to the real world.
Like the rest of the players, his main body was also sent to a separate dinsion in the ga world. It was to prevent others from harming his main body while his consciousness was in the ga world.
Dying in the ga world wouldn’t cause real death since the consciousness was transferred to the player body while the player’s real body was in a separate dinsion.
Of course, if Weiss wanted to, he could also make his gas a real death ga by transferring the real body of a player in the ga world instead of letting them use a player body.
However, that didn’t make any sense to Weiss since his goal was to farm Dev points. If the players didn’t experience true death while playing his gas, then they would keep on playing his gas just to obtain the rewards for winning the ga.
It was like the difference between raising a chicken and a pig as livestock. Weiss could obtain eggs from chickens many tis since he wouldn’t have to slaughter them, contrary to raising a pig.
From another perspective, the players were just livestocks which Weiss could milk for Dev points.
After Weiss returned to the real world, he brushed his disheveled hair and looked at the mirror, admiring his appearance.
"It won’t be long for those players in server 1 to end their ga. Server 2 has already started their ga and the Dev points that I obtained from them are enough to purchase evolution crystals and special event items in the Ga Item Shop."
"Since there are 2000 players who have played my ga, I should have around 4000 Dev points."
"I can only obtain 1 Dev point for every new player but if it’s an old player, I won’t obtain a Dev point from an old player using the first thod. In the second thod, I can still obtain Dev points for active players regardless if they are old ones or new ones."
"I had planned to limit the players to only play once daily in every ga of mine. However, if I proceed with that plan, it would take too long to have enough players reach the minimum power of confronting those otherworld invaders."
"Furthermore, it will take at least a month or two for a round of Zombie Survival Online to end. It’s better if the players who died early could play again on another server. Anyway, they wouldn’t be a threat to even if they brought back those ga items to reality."
After making that decision, Weiss summoned the system screen for the Ga Item Shop to check on the items he could purchase.
[Ga Item Shop]
[Weiss’ Dev Points: 4000]
[Ga Shop: Zombie Survival Online]
[Ga Shop: Null]
"As I expected, I have 4000 Dev points. And it seems that in the Ga Item Shop interface, I can unlock more ga shops the more gas I have developed."
With that discovery, Weiss tapped on the [Ga Shop: Zombie Survival Online] button and another system screen popped up in front of him.
[Ga Shop: Zombie Survival Online]
[Special Event Item]
[Evolution Crystals]
[Superpower]
[Attribute Potions]
As much as he wanted to obtain all of the ga items in those four categories, Weiss knew that awakening his superpower was more important than getting a special event item.
Pressing the [Evolution Crystals] category button, another system screen popped up in front of Weiss.
[Evolution Crystals]
[E-rank Evolution Crystal (x1): 1 Dev point]
[D-rank Evolution Crystal (1x): 5 Dev point
[C-rank Evolution Crystal (x1): 20 Dev point]
[B-rank Evolution Crystal (x1): 100 Dev point]
[A-rank Evolution Crystal (x1): 500 Dev point]
[S-rank Evolution Crystal (x1): 1,000 Dev point]
[SS-rank Evolution Crystal (x1): 10,000 Dev point]
Weiss had already known what superpower he would awaken so he didn’t purchase anything from the [Superpower] category.
That category only existed if he ever wanted to awaken another superpower or if he wanted to bestow an additional superpower to soone other than himself.
Knowing that he couldn’t absorb an S-rank evolution crystal directly without absorbing the previous evolution crystals, Weiss bought the evolution crystals from E-rank to S-rank which cost him 1626 Dev points, leaving him with only 2374 Dev points.
All of those evolution crystals he purchased were transferred to his system inventory.
Taking out an E-rank evolution crystal from his system inventory, Weiss decided, "Let’s start with the E-rank evolution crystal. After I beco an E-rank Awakener, I’ll slowly consu the rest of the evolution crystals until I reach S-rank."
After making that decision, Weiss swallowed the transparent gray crystal in his hand.
Afterward, he ditated and reigned in the viral energy in his body.
…
After a few hours had passed, a powerful yet silent and invisible pressure erupted from Weiss’ body!
Controlling the viral energy in his body, Weiss heaved a sigh of relief, "I have finally beco an S-rank Awakener."
"Since it’s an evolution crystal from the Ga Item Shop, there isn’t any chance of failure unlike in the ga where failure will lead to transforming into a zombie."
"Furthermore, the zombie virus after being realized in the real world has beco part of the human body’s cells. Its existence is now similar to the mitochondria in an animal cell as it provides viral energy to the human body, allowing awakeners to have the viral energy to use their superpowers."
"At least, I don’t have to worry about the players bringing the zombie virus into the real world. It would be a joke if the zombie virus alone caused the end of this world rather than the otherworld invasion."
After becoming an S-rank Awakener, Weiss used his superpower to test it in the real world.
When Weiss used his superpower with just his thoughts alone, everything in his room started to change. Reality was distorted and every inanimate object in Weiss’ room transford into food.
The ga mouse beca cheese, the ga chair beca chocolate and his room floor and walls beca crackers.
"As I expected, I have awakened reality manipulation as my superpower."
"After all, life and the real world are nothing but a ga to . And in the ga, I am the master, everything is under my control!"
