The atmosphere was heavy, almost oppressive, as if the very walls were soaked with the dark energy that Maverick had wielded.

The interior of the hut was much larger than it appeared from the outside, a testant to the dark mage’s mastery of spatial manipulation.

Dimly lit by flickering candles, the room was filled with shelves upon shelves of ancient tos, scrolls, and vials containing mysterious liquids. Strange symbols were etched into the walls, and an assortnt of bizarre artifacts cluttered the space.

The air was thick with the scent of old parchnt, mingling with the faint stench of decay.

Aya moved cautiously, her eyes scanning the room for anything that might hint at the secrets Maverick had hidden away. But before they could start rummaging through the piles of books and scrolls, Bianca hesitated.

"Weiss," Bianca called out, her voice tinged with concern, "are we sure it’s safe to go through this stuff? What if Maverick left traps?"

Weiss, who had been observing quietly from the doorway, shook his head. "Maverick was a lunatic, but he wasn’t foolish enough to trap his own belongings. He was confident in his power and his Second Life Authority—he never believed he would die. Besides, he wouldn’t risk damaging the very items that held the key to his plans."

Bianca nodded, reassured by Weiss’s words.

With a collective breath, Aya and her team began their search, each mber carefully sifting through the contents of the hut.

The shelves groaned under the weight of the ancient tos, their spines cracked and worn from centuries of use. Scrolls, yellowed with age, were unfurled, revealing strange incantations and cryptic diagrams.

JordanPlayz and ProGarXD examined a collection of vials filled with dark, swirling liquids, while Kuroneko rifled through a stack of scrolls, muttering under his breath as he deciphered their contents.

Kenshi and Illya, on the other hand, focused on a large, dusty chest in the corner, prying it open to reveal even more books and strange artifacts.

It was Aya who found the book they had been searching for. Tucked away in a hidden compartnt behind a set of shelves, she pulled out a thick, leather-bound to.

The cover was embossed with silver filigree, and the title glead faintly in the dim light:

[Lost Mist of the Dark Realm]

Her heart skipped a beat as she turned to face her team, holding up the book for all to see. "This is it. This has to be the key to uncovering the mystery of the white mist."

The room fell silent as the weight of their discovery sank in.

They had co so far, fought so hard, and now they were on the verge of unlocking the final secret that had eluded them for so long.

"We need to read this carefully," Bianca said, stepping forward. "Maverick wouldn’t have recorded this without a reason. Whatever’s in that book will be crucial to completing the third main objective."

Aya nodded in agreent. Her fingers trembling slightly as she opened the book to the first page, the weight of its contents pressing down on her like a physical force.

The first page was filled with dense, arcane symbols, but as she and her team gathered around, the text began to shift and rearrange itself, forming legible words in a language they could understand. It was as if the book itself wanted to be read, its secrets eager to be revealed.

The title of the first chapter glowed ominously:

[The Origin of the Lost Mist]

Aya read aloud, her voice steady but tinged with apprehension. "The Lost Mist is not of this world. It is the exhaled breath of the Blinded Beggar In A Blue Box, an Outer God whose na alone defies logic and reason."

The team exchanged uneasy glances.

The na was bizarre, even by the standards of the strange and terrifying things they had encountered so far. But then again, Outer Gods were entities beyond mortal comprehension, their very existence a blasphemy against the natural order.

"The Blinded Beggar In A Blue Box resides in a dinsion known as the Blue Box Realm," Aya continued. "This realm is akin to the dark dinsion but is exclusive to the Beggar. It is a place of perpetual darkness, where ti and space are warped and twisted beyond recognition."

"The Lost Mist is the breath of this Outer God, expelled from its form and seeping into our world through rifts between dinsions. It is a harbinger of madness, a veil that distorts reality and bends the minds of those who encounter it."

Aya paused, letting the weight of the revelation sink in. "Maverick Windesburg, in his pursuit of power, discovered the existence of the Blue Box Realm and the Lost Mist. Through sheer luck—or perhaps the indifference of the Blinded Beggar—he was able to collect the mist without being detected."

Bianca frowned as she listened. "So, the mist that surrounds Vacation Paradise Island is the breath of an Outer God... That’s why it has such a strong influence over the island and those who co here."

Kayden nodded, his expression grim. "It’s no wonder that anyone caught in the mist without the Special West Compass is dood to lose their way, both physically and ntally. The mist doesn’t just obscure vision; it corrupts the mind, drawing people deeper into the influence of the Outer Gods."

Aya turned to the next chapter, which was titled:

[The History of Vacation Paradise Island]

The text explained that the island, now known as Vacation Paradise Island, had a much darker history than anyone could have imagined.

It was once a private island owned by the Windesburg Family, purchased from a previous owner several thousand years ago.

At that ti, Maverick was the patriarch of the family, a man driven by an insatiable thirst for power.

"Maverick led his family in exploring the secrets of the island," Aya read, her voice taking on a more somber tone. "Their explorations uncovered a hidden inheritance—a dark magician’s legacy left behind by an ancient sorcerer who had once lived on the island. It was this discovery that set Maverick on the path to darkness."
