When Weiss ntioned the third main objective, the live stream viewers were reminded of just how challenging it was compared to the previous objectives.

If the first main objective was to leave Vacation Paradise Island and return to the supercontinent, and the second main objective was to uncover the secrets of the Windesburg Hotel and Maverick Windesburg, then the third main objective was on an entirely different level.

It required Aya and her team to discover the truth behind the mysterious mist that shrouded Vacation Paradise Island at night.

Though it might sound simple, the reality was far more complex. From what Aya and her team had uncovered, this mist was closely tied to the Outer Gods—entities of unimaginable power and madness.

While Maverick Windesburg had connections to the Outer Gods, the white mist on Vacation Paradise Island was directly influenced by them.

In fact, the influence of the Outer Gods extended beyond just the mist. Most of the monsters and evil spirits on Vacation Paradise Island were shaped by their malevolent power.

The ntal pollution, creeping insanity, and anomalous abilities of these creatures were all manifestations of the Outer Gods’ influence.

Even the dark magic and black magic that Maverick and others wielded were thods of tapping into the dark dinsion, drawing on dark mana or dark energy—one of the many energies used by the Outer Gods.

This connection made the third main objective incredibly dangerous, as it ant facing powers that were far beyond anything Aya and her team had encountered before.

Although Aya and her team knew they were not yet ready to face the Outer Gods, they pushed those concerns aside for the ti being. They had more imdiate matters to attend to.

After defeating Maverick Windesburg, Aya and her team focused on the aftermath. They worked to free the souls of Maverick’s victims, ensuring that the tornted spirits were finally at peace.

Additionally, they took control of the Windesburg Hotel, turning it into their base of operations. With the hotel now under their command, they could use its resources and staff to further their plans.

The victory over Maverick not only marked the completion of the second main objective, but it also gave them a strategic foothold on the island.

In a remote and isolated area of Vacation Paradise Island, hidden within the ever-present white mist, stood an unassuming thatched hut.

On the outside, it appeared to be a simple, almost insignificant structure. However, the interior was anything but ordinary.

Inside, the hut was vastly larger than its exterior suggested, a result of powerful spatial magic. The walls were lined with shelves filled with various magic scrolls, ancient tos, and jars containing strange, glowing substances.

The air was thick with the scent of incense and alchemical concoctions, and the room was illuminated by the eerie green light of enchanted lanterns.

In one corner, there were tables cluttered with dark magic equipnt—crystal balls, ritual daggers, and vials of blood. Nearby, glass containers held the preserved specins of grotesque monsters, each one labeled with ticulous detail.

There was a sense of foreboding that hung in the air, as though the very walls of the hut were saturated with malevolent energy.

Suddenly, the stillness of the room was disturbed as an old man appeared out of nowhere, materializing from the shadows themselves.

He was tall and gaunt, with skin as pale as a corpse. His eyes were sunken, glowing with a dim, malevolent light. Long, thin strands of white hair fell around his face, and his robes, tattered and dark, seed to blend into the shadows around him.

His fingers, long and bony, were stained with the remnants of countless dark rituals, and a permanent sneer twisted his thin lips.

This was none other than Maverick Windesburg.

Despite his apparent death at the hands of Aya and her team, Maverick had survived thanks to his Second Life Authority.

This powerful authority granted him a second life whenever he was killed, with a cooldown period of one hour before it could be used again. The thatched hut served as his spawn point, where he would resurrect each ti he died.

As Maverick glanced around the room, his eyes narrowed with a mix of anger and calculation.

"So, they think they’ve won," he muttered to himself, his voice cold and dripping with disdain.

"Fools. They may have uncovered so of my secrets and taken the Windesburg Hotel, but they have yet to understand the true depths of my power."

He walked over to one of the tables and began to inspect the equipnt, his mind already working on his next move.

Maverick was not one to be easily defeated, and he would ensure that Aya and her team paid for their interference. His plans, dark and intricate, were far from over.

Maverick’s gaze fell on a particular scroll, one that glowed with a faint, sinister light. Unrolling it, he revealed the details of a powerful dark magic ritual.

A twisted smile spread across his face as he considered the possibilities. "They have no idea what they’re up against," he whispered. "The true ga is only just beginning."

The old man moved with purpose, preparing to enact the next phase of his plan.

His resurrection was not just a continuation of his life, but a chance to refine his strategies, to strike back with even greater force. And this ti, he would not hold back.

As Maverick Windesburg continued to examine the scroll in his hands, the dim light of the enchanted lanterns cast long, eerie shadows across the room.

The arcane symbols on the scroll seed to pulse with a life of their own, resonating with the dark energy that perated the hut.

Maverick’s thin lips curled into a malicious smile as his eyes glead with malevolent intent.

"They may have disrupted my plans in the Windesburg Hotel," he muttered, his voice a low, gravelly whisper that seed to echo through the chamber. "But they have only scratched the surface of what I am capable of."

He moved with deliberate care, placing the scroll aside and reaching for a large, ancient to bound in leather that looked as though it had been made from the hide of so long-forgotten beast.

The book was heavy with age, its pages filled with the forbidden knowledge of the darkest arts.

Maverick opened it to a specific chapter, one he had studied countless tis before but had never dared to fully invoke—until now.

The chapter was titled [The Invocation of the Outer Gods].
