God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 275: The Timekeeper At Phantom Library [3]
Weiss, observing the battle with a critical eye, replied, "You need to disrupt its ti core. It’s drawing energy from the dark miasma that perates this place. If you can sever that connection, you’ll have a chance."
Although Weiss decided not to intervene much, Aya and her team were in a precarious situation and Alice had already given him the green light for slightly breaking the rules of the system.
Compared to assisting Aya and her team, those hostile higher existences breaking the rules were much more severe. The system can easily turn a blind eye to his actions since its creator also wanted Weiss to beco stronger so that they could thwart the plans of those hostile higher existences.
Kuroneko, hearing Weiss’ advice, began to chant another spell. "Dark Magic: Severing Shadows!"
Dark tendrils erged from his grimoire, aiming to latch onto the Tikeeper’s core.
The Tikeeper anticipated the move and accelerated ti around itself, causing the tendrils to miss their target. "You cannot disrupt what you cannot touch," it mocked.
Shirohige, playing a new lody on his Mystical Soul Piano, created a sonic wave that montarily disoriented the Tikeeper.
The music reverberated through the library, shaking the floating books and causing the very air to vibrate.
"Now, Aya!" Shirohige shouted, using his Music Authority to amplify the sound waves and target the Tikeeper’s auditory sensors and the gears on its body.
Aya, seizing the opportunity, activated her Tag Authority and transford into her incorporeal form. She moved with ghostly speed, phasing through the Tikeeper’s temporal defenses.
However, just as she was about to touch it, the Tikeeper reset ti, pulling everyone back several seconds.
Aya found herself several feet away, her outstretched hand grasping at empty air.
"This is impossible," Kayden muttered, frustration etched on his face. "We can’t even get close."
Bianca, realizing her Equality Authority was limited in this battle, decided to use it more strategically. "I can’t match its ti manipulation, but I can match its physical attributes. Let’s even the playing field a bit more."
She focused her power, bringing the Tikeeper’s physical speed and strength to her level.
Although the Tikeeper could still teleport, it couldn’t outmatch their physical abilities now.
Illya, in her grotesque true form, lashed out with her tentacles, trying to bind the Tikeeper once more.
This ti, with its physical speed matched to Bianca’s, the Tikeeper struggled more to break free.
"Shirohige, keep playing! We need that disruption!" Aya ordered, knowing the music was their best chance to create openings.
GoldMiner, seeing an opportunity, used his Midas Authority to turn parts of the floor and walls into gold. The reflective surfaces created blinding flashes of light that disoriented the Tikeeper further.
He also used the gold to transform them into spikes which attacked the Tikeeper, forcing it to teleport out of it.
Winston, using his Mirror Authority, created a maze of mirrors around the Tikeeper, confusing it and reflecting its image back at itself. The Tikeeper, montarily disoriented, paused its relentless assault.
"We have to find a way to hit its core," Aya reiterated, her mind racing for a solution. "Kuroneko, can you try your spell again?"
Kuroneko nodded, focusing his energy and chanting once more. "Dark Magic: Severing Shadows!"
This ti, the combined efforts of the team created a small opening. The dark tendrils latched onto the Tikeeper’s core, causing it to flicker and spark.
The Tikeeper’s chanical voice grew harsher. "You think you can defeat ? I control ti itself!"
With a burst of energy, it pushed the tendrils away and reset the room again.
The team found themselves back at the beginning of the encounter, frustration mounting.
"Weiss, we need a new plan," Aya said, her voice tinged with desperation. "We can’t keep this up forever."
Weiss, contemplating their situation, replied, "You need to disrupt its concentration. If you can break its focus, even for a mont, Aya can tag it."
The team regrouped, ready to try again.
They launched a coordinated assault, each mber using their abilities to the fullest.
Water surged, blades whirled, shadows bound, and music echoed through the library.
JordanPlayz, using his Water Authority, created a dense fog that enveloped the Tikeeper, obscuring its vision and disrupting its spatial awareness.
Shirohige played a complex lody that targeted the Tikeeper’s auditory sensors, causing it to hesitate and falter.
GoldMiner created golden spikes that erupted from the ground, forcing the Tikeeper to teleport repeatedly to avoid being impaled.
Aya, moving with ghostly speed, aid for the Tikeeper’s core once more. She phased through the fog, using the confusion and disruption to her advantage.
"Now, Aya!" Weiss shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos.
Aya reached out, her hand glowing with the power of the Tag Authority. She touched the Tikeeper’s core, feeling the surge of energy as the authority took hold.
The Tikeeper’s chanical voice stuttered. "No... this cannot be..."
With a final, desperate move, the Tikeeper tried to reset ti, but its power was now under Aya’s control. She forced it to stop, her will overpowering its own.
The room fell silent as the Tikeeper’s movents ceased. Its glowing eyes dimd, and its body crumpled to the ground, defeated.
"We did it," Aya said, her voice filled with relief and exhaustion. "We actually did it."
As the team stood around the fallen Tikeeper, relief washed over them. Aya looked down at their defeated foe.
Suddenly, the Tikeeper’s eyes flickered back to life, a dark, ominous glow emanating from within.
Before Aya could react, the Tikeeper’s body convulsed, and a dark, sinister voice echoed through the Phantom Library.
"Ah, my foolish granddaughter and her pathetic friends," the voice sneered. "Did you really think it would be that easy to defeat one of my creations?"
The voice belonged to none other than Maverick Windesburg.
The dark magic he had imbued in the Tikeeper now allowed him to communicate with them, even from afar.
Illya’s eyes narrowed with a mix of anger and fear. "Maverick," she spat, her voice filled with venom. "What do you want?"
