With the Guardian defeated, they pressed on, their goal almost in sight. The mirrors around them began to shift and change, creating a final, complex puzzle.

Winston stepped forward, his Eye of Insight glowing as he analyzed the puzzle. "We need to align these mirrors in a specific pattern to reflect the light correctly," he said, pointing to a series of mirrors on opposite sides of the room. "Kayden, use your shoe to help find the correct angles."

Kayden nodded, flipping his shoe and watching as it landed pointing towards a specific mirror. "Got it," he said, moving to adjust the mirror according to the direction indicated by his shoe.

Winston’s Eye of Insight continued to scan the room, his mind racing as he pieced together the puzzle.

"We need to start with that mirror over there," he said, pointing to a large, ornate mirror in the corner. "It needs to catch the light from the central chandelier and reflect it to the next mirror."

Kayden positioned the mirror as instructed, the light from the chandelier catching the surface and bouncing off toward the next target.

They moved from mirror to mirror, carefully adjusting each one to create a continuous path of reflected light. The process was painstaking, requiring precise movents and constant adjustnts.

"Almost there," Winston muttered, his Eye of Insight narrowing as he focused on the final few mirrors. "Just a few more adjustnts."

Kayden flipped his shoe again, using its guidance to find the exact angles needed.

"That’s it!" Winston exclaid. "We’ve done it!"

They stepped through the revealed passage, finding themselves in a small, dimly lit room. At the far end was another large mirror, and beyond it, they could see a richly decorated study.

"This must be Maverick Windesburg’s private study," Kenshi said, sheathing his sword. "We’ve found it."

Kayden nodded, a look of relief on his face. "Let’s go. We’re one step closer to uncovering his secrets."

They passed through the mirror and into the study.

The room was filled with ancient books and artifacts, each one more mysterious than the last. The walls were lined with shelves, cramd with tos bound in aged leather.

A large, mahogany desk sat in the center of the room, covered in papers, quills, and an inkwell that looked centuries old.

Winston approached the desk, his Eye of Insight scanning the surface. "These journals detail his experints with dark magic and his pacts with otherworldly entities. This is exactly what we needed."

Kenshi and Kayden moved to explore the rest of the study.

As Kenshi examined the shelves, he noticed a small, ornate chest tucked away in a corner. He carefully opened it, revealing a shimring crystal nestled within a bed of black velvet.

"This must be the mirror shard crystal," Kenshi said, holding it up to the light. "It contains the Mirror Authority."

Kayden joined him, examining the crystal with interest. "With this, we’ll have a power that is likely similar to or even stronger than the Maze Guardian."

"This is quite similar to the golden stone that GoldMiner found but unlike his golden stone, this mirror shard crystal doesn’t seem to require the user to be worthy for it to pass on the Mirror Authority."

"Just by touching it, I was already shown the ga notification screen that asked whether to integrate it. So it’s like the luxury cruise ship blueprint that contained ProGarXD’s Shipwright Authority."

"Anyway, as per our agreent, the Mirror Authority will be handed to Winston. I’ve already declined the ga notification screen so this still contains the Mirror Authority."

"However, I suggest not to inherit the Mirror Authority here. It’s best to have Weiss with us since integrating the second authority only has a 50% chance. It’s not 100% so we have to rely on Weiss’ Ga Over Retry Authority to prevent any accidents."

Regarding Kayden’s arrangents, Winston didn’t disagree as he nodded his head, "Thanks, guys. I will inherit the Mirror Authority when we leave this secret realm and where Weiss is with us. Even I’m not confident that I’d luck out on the 50% chance."

Kenshi, anwhile, had found another item of interest.

He picked up a small, intricately designed mirror from the desk. "This must be the Reflection Mirror," he said. "It can reflect any attack within the user’s energy limit."

As usual, the Ga AI would transmit information to them whenever they touched an unknown ga item. That’s why Kenshi found out since it was like a chanism in a ga that showed the status screen of a ga item.

But instead of showing a status screen that displayed the ga item’s information and stats, it was directly transmitted into the minds of the players who touched the ga item.

Kenshi nodded. "We need to take all of this back to Aya and the others. We’ve found what we ca for, but the battle is far from over."
