God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 243: Entering The Mirror Maze
Regarding Kayden’s words, they all agreed to it. His words were even made official due to his status as the strongest player in the Freedom Eagle Federation.
Since his words aligned with the Freedom Eagle President, the citizens of the Freedom Eagle Federation all agreed to it and they both supported their nation’s strongest player and their nation’s president.
On the other hand, Weiss thought, ’Well, this doesn’t sound that bad. Although those sentient otherworld invaders, so of them might be innocent and also good, that’s not my problem.’
’In the end, good and evil don’t matter. It’s all about being on the sa side. Even if it’s the god of kindness and righteousness who invaded Blue Star, I’d be the first to sever his head and deprive him of his godhead if he dared to invade Blue Star.’
’Since they dared to invade Blue Star, they should already expect to either dominate Blue Star or leave their corpse at Blue Star. There is no point in showing rcy to them when in the end, their plan is to either dominate and enslave Blue Star or destroy Blue Star.’
’So of the otherworld invaders are commanded by those hostile higher existences. Not only are they conspiring against , but also the rest of the transmigrators who are in the sa situation as .’
’There might even be transmigrators who already died and lost in the first wave of the otherworld invasion. After all, not everyone had a good start like . Although that also made Blue Star have the highest otherworld invasion difficulty, the foundation I laid for Blue Star made up for it.’
When Weiss thought about that, he didn’t change the decisions of the top nation leaders regarding the ruthless treatnt of otherworld invaders.
He even supported them since he couldn’t afford to let Blue Star fall into the hands of those otherworld invaders just because so idiots treated them nicely and it only resulted in being betrayed by the otherworld invaders.
Even in human history, the human race had to worry about betrayal of the sa kind and that caused a lot of internal conflicts. If they couldn’t even afford to trust the sa kind, why trust those of a different kind?
Weiss expected that after the otherworld invasion ended which would probably be thousands or even millions of years from now, the human race would likely have another infighting due to the allocation of resources and territories.
However, that was the least of his problems since it hadn’t reached that point yet.
With that thought in mind, Weiss remained silent as he and Alice walked with Aya’s team at the hallways of Windesburg Hotel.
Regarding Kayden’s decision to head to the next forbidden area, Aya and her teammates didn’t disagree with it since they also wanted to speedrun Cozy Vacation Life.
They didn’t know when the next otherworld invasion would occur so it was natural for them to be prepared.
As long as they completed Cozy Vacation Life, they were confident that their power would reach a higher level and they would truly reach the top of Blue Star, at least until the next ga was published.
With a shoe in his hand, Kayden kept flipping it and using it to navigate the grand hallways of Windesburg Hotel.
The plush red carpet muffled their footsteps as they walked, and the rich decor of the five-star hotel seed almost out of place given the sinister secrets of the Windesburg Hotel.
Kenshi and Winston followed closely behind, their senses alert to any potential dangers. The hotel’s silence was occasionally interrupted by the distant clink of cutlery or the soft murmur of conversations from unseen guests.
As Aya and her team moved deeper into the hotel, Kayden’s shoe consistently pointed them in the right direction, proving just how great his luck was.
After what felt like an eternity of winding corridors and passing by luxurious suites and grand ballrooms, they finally arrived at a room with a single, massive mirror standing in the center.
At the side of the massive mirror was an old scroll placed on a wooden table. Kuroneko used his dark magic and determined that there weren’t any curses placed on the old scroll so he read it and told the information to his teammates
"This must be it," Kenshi said, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "The entrance to the Mirror Maze."
Kenshi had already summoned a holy sword using his Sword Authority in case sothing jumped out of the mirror and caught them off-guard.
Hearing Kenshi’s words, Kayden nodded, flipping his shoe one last ti. It pointed directly at the mirror. "Well, looks like this is the way. Let’s go."
Aya and the rest of the team already decided to let Kayden, Winston, and Kenshi take on the next challenge. Their purpose was to let Winston get his second authority since Winston only had the Balloon Authority which barely had any combat power.
To let Winston have the ability to defend himself, the Mirror Authority granted after completing the Mirror Maze’s challenges was sothing that they had decided to let Winston acquire.
Taking a deep breath, the trio stepped through the mirror, and the world around them shifted.
On the other hand, Aya and the rest of the team stayed where they were as they waited for Kayden, Kenshi, and Winston’s return.
…
After stepping inside the mirror, Kayden, Winston, and Kenshi found themselves in a labyrinthine corridor, with mirrors lining every surface.
The reflections were disorienting, showing twisted versions of reality that played tricks on their minds.
"The Mirror Maze," Winston murmured, his Eye of Insight activating. His pupils glowed faintly as he scanned their surroundings. "Be careful. So of these mirrors might be portals to other dinsions. Others might just be illusions."
Kayden nodded, his grip tightening on his shoe. "We’ll rely on your insight, Winston. Kenshi, stay ready. We don’t know what might co at us."
"We’ll leave the combat to you since I will be in charge of navigation while Winston will be in charge of seeing through the clues and hidden chanisms in the Mirror Maze."
Kenshi unsheathed his sword, the blade gleaming with a soft, holy light. "I’m ready. Let’s move."
