God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 241: The Dark Miasma Thickens
The team continued their journey, their senses heightened for any sign of danger.
The further they went, the colder the air beca, and the shadows seed to press in closer. Each step felt like a journey into deeper darkness, the mories of the Crimson Ballroom now a distant mory.
Suddenly, the corridor opened into a grand hall. At the far end stood a tall, imposing figure surrounded by a group of spectral beings. The figure turned, revealing itself to be a high-ranking spirit, its eyes burning with malevolent intent.
The butler stepped back, his role now clear. "Princess Bianca, I shall observe from a safe distance and provide assistance as needed. Please be careful."
Bianca smiled at the butler’s concern. "Thank you. We’ll handle this."
The team prepared for battle, their determination unwavering. They had already killed a lot of evil spirits and monsters so even if a stronger one appeared, they were confident they could deal with it as long as it wasn’t Maverick Windesburg.
The high-ranking spirit let out a chilling laugh, its voice echoing through the hall. "You dare challenge ? You will regret this folly."
With a collective shout, Aya and her team launched themselves into the fray, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. The battle for Windesburg Hotel had only just begun, and they were determined to erge victorious.
Aya charged forward, her Tyrannical Earth Gauntlet glowing with power. She swung at the nearest spectral being, her enhanced strength smashing through its ghostly form.
Shirohige’s Mystical Soul Piano filled the air with a powerful, uplifting lody, enhancing Aya’s attacks and allowing her to hit the ethereal enemies.
Kuroneko stood back, his grimoire open and glowing with dark energy.
"Shadow Bind!" he chanted, and tendrils of darkness erupted from the ground, ensnaring several spectral beings and holding them in place.
Bianca, standing beside him, used her Equality Authority to level the playing field, ensuring the team had the upper hand.
The high-ranking spirit, realizing the threat, unleashed a wave of dark energy towards them. Aya countered by punching the floor with her Tyrannical Earth Gauntlet, raising an earthen barrier, and deflecting the attack.
She then devoured the residual energy, her Gourt Authority absorbing it and increasing her strength.
"Your tricks won’t work on us," Aya declared, her eyes blazing with determination.
Since she was doing a live stream, Aya ought to at least put up an act or sothing to make it more entertaining for the viewers. That’s what she would always do whenever she played a virtual reality ga and her live stream viewers liked it.
She dashed forward, her gauntlet-clad fist striking the spirit with imnse force. The spirit howled in pain, its form flickering as it struggled to maintain its cohesion.
JordanPlayz, wielding his Trident of Poseidon’s Wrath, joined the assault. Water jets swirled around the trident, enhancing his attacks as he struck at the spirit.
The combined power of Aya’s earth and JordanPlayz’s water created a devastating synergy, weakening the spirit further.
Bianca, seeing an opportunity, activated her Equality Authority once more, further weakening the spirit’s defenses. "Now, Aya! Finish it off!"
With a powerful leap, Aya launched herself at the spirit, her gauntlet glowing with the combined energy of her Gourt Authority and Shirohige’s music.
"This ends now!" she shouted, delivering a final, crushing blow.
The spirit let out a final, agonized scream as it disintegrated into nothingness. The remaining spectral beings, now leaderless, faded away, leaving the hallway silent once more.
The team stood victorious. They barely broke a sweat since they were already used to such battles.
Bianca turned to the butler, who had watched the battle from a safe distance. "Thank you for your vigilance. You may return to your duties for now."
The butler bowed deeply. "As you wish, Princess Bianca. Should you need my assistance again, simply ring the bell."
With a final nod, the butler disappeared into the shadows, leaving the team to regroup and plan their next move.
They had already returned their weapons back to their player inventory and were currently walking in the hallway with the assistance of Kayden’s shoe.
Kayden comnted with observation, "From the looks of it, our actions of entering and destroying those forbidden areas had increased the evil spirits within the hotel. Even when we haven’t entered a forbidden area, the hallway had already spawned a high-ranking spirit no worse than the spectral knight from before."
Winston nodded, "That’s true. In the previous ga sessions, we hadn’t explored the forbidden areas of Windesburg Hotel so we never encountered this before. But this could also an that we are getting closer to uncovering the mysteries of Windesburg Hotel and then we can proceed to discover the secrets of Maverick Windesburg."
Kuroneko comnted, "I can detect that the dark miasma in the hotel had grown thicker the more we aggravated the evil spirits within the hotel. But this is necessary so we can only prepare ourselves for unexpected battles like the previous one with the high-ranking spirit."
JordanPlayz sighed, "If that’s the case, then aren’t we going to have to worry during the ti we sleep? Who knows if one of those evil spirits would attack us while we are asleep."
In response to that, Aya reassured them, "We don’t have to worry about that since we have my brother on our side. If everything doesn’t go well, we can just resort to letting him use that authority of his."
Hearing Aya ntion Weiss’ Ga Over Retry Authority, JordanPlayz and the rest of the team were no longer worried.
They were used to dying in the ga world anyway and the pain wasn’t as bad as it was in the real world. So even if they were attacked by the evil spirits in their sleep, they could still shut up and deal with it.
The only thing they were worried about was dying in this ga session, not the pain of death. But since that was resolved due to Weiss’ Ga Over Retry Authority, the team was no longer worried.
Kayden comnted while flipping his shoe for navigation, "If that’s the case, then let’s rely on Weiss if those evil spirits dare to attack us in our sleep."
