God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 139: Quitting The Game, Reuniting In The Private Lob
After he discovered the deaths of his teammates, Kayden was at a loss for what to do next.
Although Kayden would often give suggestions to his teammates, he believed that he wasn’t soone who wasn’t good at leading a team to do sothing. Even before, it was either Aya or Winston who led the team and he was only in charge of giving suggestions or a second opinion.
"As a casual gar, I don’t know what to do now. I don’t even have the skill set to perform an autopsy or even decide what to do next. Even if I continue my ga session, I’d probably not have any discovery."
Kayden contemplated whether he should quit now or continue playing Cozy Vacation Life.
Eventually, Kayden decided, "I’ll just quit now. It’s better to have my teammates’ assistance rather than doing all of this alone."
’I know that I can go guns blazing with Illya as we demolish Windesburg Hotel. But I’m worried that there is an evil spirit or monster sealed under the Windesburg Hotel. If it’s the horrendous creature that could inflict ntal pollution, Illya and I would suffer.’
’I don’t want Illya to suffer due to my reckless commands so I might as well end this ga session and regroup with my teammates in the next ga session.’
Having that thought in mind, Kayden summoned the player nu.
After seeing the [Exit Ga] button, Kayden pressed on it without any hesitation.
…
After Kayden quit the ga, he was transported back to the private lobby.
When Kayden arrived at the private lobby, he saw Aya, Winston, Bianca, Kenshi, and the Dislord admins waiting for him there.
Seeing Kayden’s arrival, Aya asked him, "Have you discovered the cause of our death?"
"After we have experienced a ga over, we were forced by the ga into spectator mode but we could only observe within your range of sight in third person perspective."
"The rest of us have already held a eting about it but we haven’t discovered the cause of our death yet."
Hearing Aya’s question, Kayden shook his head, "I don’t know. But I still have a guess on why I haven’t died."
"If I’m not mistaken, I didn’t die likely due to Illya. Maybe her presence had warded off the evil spirit or monster that kidnapped and killed you guys at night."
Hearing Kayden’s guess, Winston asked, "So does that an we have to sleep in the sa room with Illya? But wouldn’t that be too inconvenient?"
In response, Kenshi comnted, "Even if it’s inconvenient, at least it won’t cause our death. I can tolerate sleeping on the floor as long as I have a sword with . So the rest of you can discuss the right to sleep on the hotel room’s bed."
Bianca shook her head, "I don’t think it’s due to Illya that you haven’t died. Specifically, Illya’s presence had indeed prevented your death. But preventing your death might not be exclusively due to Illya."
"For example, what if the kidnapping and death at night is determined by the number of occupants inside the hotel room?"
Noticing that they were listening to her, Bianca continued, "If you all noticed, everyone aside from Kayden has another occupant in his hotel room which is Illya."
"All of us were sleeping in our hotel room and we only had one occupant in our hotel room which is us. On the other hand, Kayden has two occupants in his hotel room which is himself and Illya."
"So I was thinking, what if we can avoid our death by increasing the number of occupants in our hotel room?"
"The number 1 is odd while the number 2 is an even number. If I am not mistaken, we can avoid our death as long as the number of occupants in our hotel room is an even number."
"Or at least, that’s the case for our first night in Windesburg Hotel. I am not certain if the parity of the required number of occupants remains the sa in the upcoming nights."
When they heard Bianca’s conjecture, they all felt that what Bianca hypothesized had made sense.
Noticing that the rest of her teammates didn’t raise any objections to Bianca’s conjecture, Aya decided, "Let’s go with Bianca’s conjecture. We can spend the first night in our hotel room in pairs of two since we have a total of ten in our group."
"Any objections?"
In response to that, Kuroneko asked, "Can’t we just stay in the beach resort instead? The anomalous incident might be due to staying in the Windesburg Hotel. If we leave Windesburg Hotel and live in the beach resort instead, we might be able to avoid this."
Before Aya could reply to Kuroneko, ProGarXD interjected, "That won’t work. The beach resort is still considered as an extension of Windesburg Hotel since if I’m not mistaken, Maverick Windesburg also owns the beach resort."
"Furthermore, the Windesburg Hotel staff are also in charge of the maintenance of the beach resort. So if we don’t want to be affected by that rule-type anomaly, we can only live outdoors such as in the forest or sothing."
"But sleeping outdoors at night is a dumb decision to make especially when Vacation Paradise Island is infested with monsters and evil spirits. I won’t be surprised if there are monsters that are programd to kill us when we sleep outdoors."
Kuroneko sighed after hearing ProGarXD’s remarks, "Cozy Vacation Life is filled with too many unseen dangers and even living inside would still cause our death."
Kayden comnted, "Well, we can’t do anything about that. Aspro didn’t want to make his gas too easy to be completed. It might take us several or even countless attempts to complete Cozy Vacation Life."
"But in the end, we won’t give up until we complete Cozy Vacation Life. After all, we need to secure the authorities in Cozy Vacation Life, or else the other players could take its exclusive ownership."
"So for now, let’s try our best in our second ga session. Let’s proceed with Bianca’s conjecture and determine if it’s true or not."
