God-Level Game Developer System: I Brought In-Game Items To Real World Chapter 128: GoldMiner’s Death, Horrendous Flesh Creature
The at freezer in front of GoldMiner was different from the rest. Aside from the obvious "Do not open" warning stickers plastered on it, the at freezer also didn’t have any see-through glass, unlike the others.
In the other at freezers, GoldMiner could see what was inside it due to the see-through glass. All of the at freezers he ca across were filled with human organs and there was even a frozen human brain.
On the other hand, the at freezer in front of him not only lacked a see-through glass but it was also placed at the centermost corner of the at cold room.
"There might be a horrendous creature locked up and frozen inside this at freezer, but there might also be a ga item stored in this. So it’s either I lose it all, or win it big!"
With that in mind, GoldMiner no longer hesitated and opened the at freezer with warning stickers on it.
GoldMiner was surprised to find that the at freezer, despite the warning labels plastered on it, wasn’t locked. In other words, as long as anyone entered the at cold room, even if they weren’t the ones with the authority to enter, they could easily open the at freezer.
’Now I’m starting to doubt whether this is a trap or not. But even if it’s a trap, it’s a trap that I’ll willingly plunge myself into. After all, I am about to die from the cold temperature in here and even if I get out of here, my life will still be at risk.’
’I might as well use this life of mine to check what’s inside this at freezer. If it sealed a horrendous creature, then at least we can use that information to prevent encountering this in the next ga session.’
GoldMiner thought as he opened the at freezer.
After opening the at freezer, GoldMiner shouted, "Kuroneko! Close the do—"
Before GoldMiner could finish his words, pinkish-red-colored flesh ca out of the at freezer. It engulfed and devoured GoldMiner!
Kuroneko saw all of this and rembering his promise with GoldMiner, Kuroneko didn’t hesitate. He decisively closed the door that led to the at cold room.
Just in case the slaughterhouse would be breached by that at flesh-like creature, Kuroneko started running away while shouting, "Kayden, prepare to close the slaughterhouse’s door!"
As he ran away from the door he just closed, Kuroneko didn’t forget to warn Kayden. Even if he couldn’t make it out alive, Kayden and Winston must live.
After all, Kayden has the Gambling Authority while Winston has the Balloon Authority. Compared to him and the other Dislord admins, Aya and her team had more value.
It’s only rational to sacrifice the ones with the lowest value to save those with higher values so that the loss would be minimized.
However, Kayden didn’t close the door of the slaughterhouse yet since Kuroneko was still inside the slaughterhouse.
But when Kayden was about to wait for Kuroneko, he saw that when Kuroneko was halfway through the slaughterhouse’s door, a at flesh-like creature destroyed the restricted area’s door.
"Kayden, leave ! Close the door!"
Feeling the presence of that at flesh-like creature behind him, Kuroneko imdiately suggested to Kayden to sacrifice him.
Kayden looked at the at flesh-like creature that was about to devour Kuroneko with indifference.
Before Kuroneko was about to be devoured, Kayden yelled, "Forced Gambling!"
Much to Kuroneko’s astonishnt, Kayden disappeared out of nowhere and the sa went for the at flesh-like creature behind him!
Rembering Kayden’s last words, Kuroneko sighed, "It seems that Kayden was forced to use his Forced Gambling skill on that horrendous creature."
"I hope Kayden can win. But for now, I’ll warn Winston about this and let him prepare for the worst."
…
In a dark void…
Kayden found himself confronting the at flesh-like creature face to face.
The at flesh-like creature headed towards him at a rapid speed as it expanded its body to devour him whole!
But before the at flesh-like creature approached three ters near Kayden, an invisible barrier hindered its movents and prevented it from reaching Kayden.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk! In the Gambling Void, only savages fight with brute force."
"In here, we gamble with our lives on the line!"
Even with those remarks, Kayden noticed that the at-flesh-like creature was still attacking him relentlessly.
"Or, you attack for a minute straight and die due to violating the rules of the Gambling Void."
Kayden comnted casually as he watched the circus play perford by the at-flesh-like creature.
The at flesh-like creature was indeed powerful as it could engulf and devour an adult human in just under a second.
However, no matter how powerful it was, it couldn’t resist the rules imposed by Kayden’s Gambling Authority.
Only an authority can deal with another authority.
And in the Gambling Void, even Kayden wasn’t immune to its rules. He also couldn’t attack the at-flesh-like creature since if he attacked it for a minute straight, he would also die.
The rules of the Gambling Void were neutral and would not favor the owner of the Gambling Authority. However, Kayden still has the upper hand due to being familiar with the rules of the Gambling Void.
Of course, if his opponent were to ask the Gambling Void about its rules, then the Gambling Void would display the rules to his opponent.
’I’m fortunate that my opponent is not sentient. If it was, then I might have to fight it in a gambling match.’
Kayden sighed as he observed the futile actions of the at-flesh-like creature. He planned to wait for a minute to pass and let the at-flesh-like creature die due to the violation of the rules of the Gambling Void.
"15 seconds left."
Kayden muttered as he waited for the at-flesh-like creature to continue its assault for 15 more seconds. As long as 15 seconds passed, then the at-flesh-like creature would have to die!
However, while Kayden was anticipating the death of the at-flesh-like creature, he noticed that the at-flesh-like creature had stopped attacking him!
