"Don't call uncle, and definitely don't call brother. Just call Silver Mask!"

Susan's face turned slightly red as she shot a glance at Silver Mask.

"I... I won't call you brother."

"Haha, that's good!"

"Alright, it's ti for to make my exit. Farewell for now."

Li ng waved his hand and turned to walk outside.

Elisa and Susan quickly stood up to see him off.

The three of them walked along the garden path, one after the other.

"Silver Mask, will we et again?"

"Of course, when you're in trouble, no matter where you are, I'll find you."

Silver Mask's words reminded Susan of sothing.

How did Silver Mask find her in the first place?

Could it be that so phenonon occurs during the Death Loop?

And this phenonon can be sensed by Mr. Silver Mask?

Is that why Mr. Silver Mask could easily find her?

In the end, Susan never found out how Silver Mask was able to locate her.

At the courtyard gate, Elisa and Susan watched the black-robed figure disappear into the distance.

Before long, the black-robed figure vanished around the street corner.

------

Principality of Ilysis.

Border city "Layo."

In the endless wheat fields outside the city, there was a road.

The road stretched from Layo City towards the northeast.

It was already noon, and suddenly the sound of hooves thundered on the road.

A luxurious convoy of over a dozen beast-drawn carriages raced along the road through the wheat fields.

Accompanying the convoy was a group of Temple Knights clad in silver-white armor.

At this mont, inside one of the beast-drawn carriages.

A man in a white robe was leisurely gazing at the golden wheat fields outside.

"Your Grace, will this journey be successful?"

There was another person in the carriage.

She wore a white robe and held a crystal staff.

The man, whom she called Your Grace, did not turn around.

"We only need passage rights. As long as the Principality of Ilysis doesn't oppose, we're fine."

"Will they oppose?"

The man's lips curled into a slight smile.

He turned around and gestured for the woman to co closer.

The woman cautiously drew the curtains before standing up.

Then she swayed her hips and sat sideways on the man's lap.

With her delicate body in his arms, the man took a deep breath, savoring the mont.

"They won't, as long as we offer them a piece of at, they won't refuse."

"True, after all, this matter benefits the Principality of Ilysis without any harm."

The woman attempted to slip off her robe, but the man stopped her.

"I am, after all, a bishop. I must maintain my dignified image. Co find tonight in the next town."

The woman's face flushed slightly, and she nodded gently.

The Crystal Temple does not forbid marriage.

But it advocates monogamy.

Violating clergy mbers are either expelled from the church or face trial.

If their affair were discovered, it would be the end for both of them.

They were very cautious about this matter.

They kept their distance when eting in public.

Only when no one else was around could they be intimate.

The convoy raced along the road through the wheat fields.

Wherever they passed, people watched in awe.

Before long, the convoy was far from Layo City.

The pedestrians on the road gradually disappeared.

"Who goes there!"

Suddenly, a commotion erupted among the leading Temple Knights.

A black-robed figure appeared in the middle of the road ahead.

He stood right in the center of the road.

The appearance of the black robe caused the Temple Knights to change their expressions.

The leading captain shouted a command.

Though distant, the shout made the black robe lift his head.

"Here they co!"

Looking at the approaching convoy, a big laughing mouth appeared on the shiny, round silver head.

Li ng stepped forward and swung his right fist.

A burst of monstrous strength and energy erupted.

A powerful shockwave surged towards the convoy.

"Enemy attack, enemi... boom!"

The powerful shockwave swept through the Temple Knights.

All the knights were sent flying into the air.

"Boom!"

The beast-drawn carriages in a line shattered with a loud crash.

Everything was lifted into the air by the powerful shockwave.

Blood rain began to fall from the sky.

Along with the debris of the carriages.

The road was in chaos, with scattered limbs and wreckage everywhere.

"What... what happened?"

On the roadside, a man in a lavish white robe sat up in confusion.

High Priest "Tabitha" stood in front of him.

"Tabitha, where are you?"

The man, coming to his senses, quickly looked around.

Finally, he saw Tabitha lying on the ground not far away.

The man hurriedly crawled over.

"Tabitha, how... how are you?"

The man turned the woman lying on the ground over and held her in his arms.

Seeing her, the man's face turned pale.

Tabitha's beautiful face was deathly pale.

Her robe was tattered, revealing large patches of skin.

Wooden splinters were embedded in her chest, with blood gushing out.

"Oh, still alive!"

A sudden voice from behind made the man's face change dramatically.

He quickly turned his head to look behind him.

But the last thing he saw was a fist wrapped in bandages.

Li ng punched, smashing the man's head.

"Smack!"

The man's head shattered like a smashed waterlon.

Li ng's punch crushed the entire head.

The headless body fell onto the woman.

"Oh, still alive?"

Li ng kicked the man off the woman.

The woman wasn't dead yet, but she was close.

Her heart was still beating, but it was gradually weakening.

Li ng pulled out a gold coin from his black robe.

"Let the goddess of luck decide your fate!"

With that, Li ng tossed the coin into the air.

The coin flew up and then landed back in his hand.

"It's heads, what a lucky woman. Alright, from now on, you're mine. Wahaha!"

Li ng laughed heartily.

He squatted down, hoisted the woman onto his shoulder.

Then he turned and left, chuckling.

In the afternoon, as the sun gradually set in the west.

In a forest outside Layo City.

Leaning against a large tree, Tabitha slowly opened her eyes.

The lingering pain in her body brought her back to consciousness.

She quickly touched her chest.

Although her robe was still in tatters, the wounds had vanished.

"What happened?"

Tabitha looked around in confusion.

Wasn't she in the beast-drawn carriage?

Why was she in a forest?

Rembering sothing, Tabitha's expression changed.

Yes, the convoy was attacked.

Attacked by a powerful entity.

The sudden attack left her no ti to react.

She could only instantly cast a mid-level defensive light magic for protection.

"You're finally awake!"

At that mont, a voice suddenly sounded in her ear.

The voice made Tabitha's heart tighten.

"Who? Show yourself!"

"I'm right here!"

The voice suddenly ca from beside her.

Tabitha quickly turned her head to look.

What she saw startled her.

A person in a black robe was squatting beside her, watching her.

The featureless, round head looked very strange.
