"Mr. Silver Mask, are you here to find Susan?"
Li ng glanced at the beautiful young girl from the Aemia fox tribe.
"Just passing by. I caught the scent of a fellow tribe mber and ca to take a look."
Caught the scent of a fellow tribe mber?
Susan looked at Silver Mask beside her with a speechless expression.
He's not a dog; how could he find soone by scent?
But then again, Susan was also curious about how Silver Mask found her.
Could it be that Silver Mask really located Bard Count's mansion by scent?
"Why does Mr. Silver Mask dress so strangely?"
Elisa curiously examined Mr. Silver Mask.
Dressed in a black robe, with bandages wrapped around his hands.
His head was a shiny silver sphere.
No matter how you looked at it, this outfit seed odd.
Li ng tapped his head.
Though it looked soft, it sounded like tal when tapped.
"It's a curse. If soone sees my body, I'll die."
Li ng couldn't exactly say he was a Goblin.
He had to co up with a random excuse and lie.
Whether anyone believed it or not didn't matter.
"Mr. Silver Mask, you're quite an interesting person!"
Elisa smiled at Li ng.
"Haha, really? I think I'm quite an interesting person too!"
Perhaps Elisa believed him.
But Susan and Aima clearly didn't.
"Susan, would you like to co with ?"
Li ng suddenly turned to Susan beside him.
And asked a question that caught Susan off guard.
Susan's abilities were unique and would be very useful in the future.
If possible, Li ng hoped Susan would join him.
Traveling the world together would be a great choice.
Susan looked at Silver Mask, then at Elisa.
Leaving with Mr. Silver Mask might be the best choice for her.
But could she really just leave like that?
If she left, Elisa would surely die.
Though she didn't know why the assassins would act in broad daylight.
But a few hours later, the mansion would face a sudden crisis.
Susan lowered her head apologetically.
"Sorry, Mr. Silver Mask, I... I can't go with you!"
Saying this, Susan looked up at Li ng for help.
Mr. Silver Mask knew about the assassins.
Susan hoped Mr. Silver Mask would stay and help her through this crisis.
Facing Susan's pleading gaze, Li ng grinned.
Then he looked up at Elisa.
"Miss Elisa, if possible, could you let stay for a few days?"
"Uh, well..."
Mr. Silver Mask's sudden request left Elisa a bit flustered.
She wasn't the owner of this mansion.
In a way, she and Susan were both guests here.
Elisa turned to look at Aima and her sister standing nearby.
Aima placed her hands on her abdon and bowed to Li ng.
"Sorry, guest, the mansion is full of won; it's inconvenient to host a guest!"
"Aima, Mr. Silver Mask, he..."
Susan was a bit anxious.
But before she could finish, Li ng interrupted her.
"I was being presumptuous. Let's pretend I never said that."
Elisa looked apologetically at Mr. Silver Mask.
"Um... Mr. Silver Mask, I'm sorry!"
"Haha, it's fine, it's fine. I just wanted to stay a few days to talk to Susan about our holand. I'll stay at a nearby inn and hope to et Susan during the day if possible."
Hearing this, Susan looked at Mr. Silver Mask with admiration.
If it were her, she'd probably be a bit upset now.
After all, being rejected is quite embarrassing.
But Mr. Silver Mask didn't mind at all.
And then quickly found another way to solve the dilemma.
This ti, Aima responded to Li ng.
"Of course, you can co anyti during the day!"
"Haha, thank you very much!"
With that, Li ng found an excuse to stay.
Susan felt a sense of relief.
After lunch, Susan beca nervous.
She was also a bit distracted.
Though she had many questions for Mr. Silver Mask.
She didn't know how to start.
Mr. Silver Mask had arrived in this world four years before her.
A lot must have happened in those four years.
"What is she doing?"
In the afternoon, in the garden of Bard Count's mansion.
Li ng and Susan sat across from each other at a stone table in the pavilion.
Li ng's gaze was on Elisa outside the pavilion, who was continuously casting light magic.
Elisa was chanting, seemingly incanting.
A light orb appeared in her hand.
The orb grew larger with her chanting.
Susan followed Mr. Silver Mask's gaze to Elisa.
Susan's voice echoed in the pavilion.
"In this world, magicians need to continuously cast magic to deplete their mana and increase their magic power. This is how magicians train. Doesn't Mr. Silver Mask know?"
The training thod for magicians should be common knowledge.
But Mr. Silver Mask seed unaware.
"Uh, no, I didn't know. Although I ca four years before you, I haven't lived in the human world before."
Not lived in the human world before?
Mr. Silver Mask's words reminded Susan of the continents beyond the southern continent.
This world is vast, with many continents.
The Augus continent is a general term.
Each continent is like an island scattered around the Coral Sea.
And in the center of the Coral Sea is another continent.
That continent is also known as the central continent.
Because of the central continent, the Coral Sea is divided into four seas.
The North Sea, West Sea, East Sea, and South Sea.
So continents are connected, while others are separated by straits.
Since the Coral Sea is the territory of the sea tribes, who are very exclusive.
Each continent can only be reached by airship.
Li ng glanced sideways at the twin sisters.
The sisters were practicing swordsmanship on the grass not far away.
Their graceful figures intertwined, and the sound of wooden swords clashing echoed.
"Xiao Bai, what sword style are they practicing?"
The sisters' swordsmanship seed to focus on force techniques.
The moves were simple, but each strike was powerful.
If an ordinary person could only exert sixty percent of their strength with a swing.
Their swing could exert two hundred percent of their strength.
The wooden swords couldn't withstand ten moves in their hands before breaking.
On the ground beside them were nurous broken wooden swords.
"Sword God Style, a sword style that's easy to learn but hard to master!"
Compared to Li ng's leisure, Susan seed very tense.
She kept looking around.
"Um... Mr. Silver Mask, sothing seems off!"
Li ng withdrew his gaze from Aima and her sister.
Then turned to look at Susan sitting across the stone table.
"Are you referring to those assassins?"
Susan nodded.
She anxiously glanced at the sky outside.
The sun was gradually setting in the west.
In two hours, it would be dark.
The ti for the assassins to appear had long passed.
