"Goodness, threatening ?" Lin Yue closed the ga panel without hesitation.
There will be tis when he’ll have to beg !
Is Guo Lei one person or a group of people? Right now, Lin Yue clearly leans towards the latter.
In this conversation with Guo Lei, he clearly sensed the distinct differences in the way this guy spoke before and after.
Guo Lei seems to be the type who speaks whatever’s on his mind without much plot, yet later he started bargaining directly with him, quite reminiscent of Belger.
It seems like there’s soone beside Guo Lei giving him pointers, whose speaking patterns differ from Guo Lei’s, particularly the last attempt to turn around the disadvantage—sothing Guo Lei would absolutely be unable to achieve.
They even tried to use moral coercion to force him to submit.
Lin Yue never falls for this. Who knows if you’re really from the Tang Country, maybe a Tang face, Lighthouse Country person inside.
In this Otherworld, there aren’t many things he can trust.
Moreover, this 20 liters of water is quite an ask.
Perhaps he only needs to hang up 2 liters of water, and he might get a lot of alloy in return.
After all, now that water has turned back into a hard currency, it allows him to hold the ultimate advantage.
At least he knows on Guo Lei’s side there are at least 35 pieces of alloy, not that he had no gains at all. In the future, when they co seeking him, he can trade then.
Furthermore, instead of exchanging 20 liters of water for so hard aluminum alloy that seems not so solid, he might as well search for it himself—after all, it’s produced in the Secret Realm, and there may be other gains from more thorough exploration.
Speaking of the Secret Realm.
Since last ti, Bai has always sensed so danger behind the door, warning him not to enter.
The danger in the Secret Realm... those monsters?
If taken individually, Lin Yue now probably wouldn’t fear the Monster Winged Dragon, nor those insects and rats—only that gigantic thing could leave him helpless.
But if they’re in groups...
Even those insects would force him to flee just from sight, he’d have no ability to fight back.
Could it be monsters he hasn’t seen before? After all, from the start of the Secret Realm till now, he’s only ever seen four types.
Then...
"Puchi! Puchi!"
Bai’s voice suddenly sounded outside the door, Lin Yue opened the stone door, watching the little fellow march inside like a majestic General, leading twenty Little Ice Lizards.
"Bai, triumphant return?" Lin Yue couldn’t help but smile at its muddy, bloody appearance, and the Little Ice Lizards that looked as though they’d rolled in mud.
"Puchi~" Bai rubbed against Lin Yue’s leg; the aning was obvious.
"You all go wash up first, I’ll cook."
Lin Yue looked up; outside it had unknowingly reached evening—the day had truly flown by.
However, the harvest was indeed not small.
Bai led the Little Ice Lizards straight towards the bathroom, while Lin Yue walked to the outdoor stove and began various preparations.
The als needed two servings.
Earlier, he’d given the Little Ice Lizards bread to eat. This ti, it seed they had been training for combat under Bai’s lead, so he’d make sothing a bit tastier for them.
Ultimately decided to give them a feast of instant noodles!
They’re still too young; perhaps they can’t handle too heavy flavors yet, spicy or overly salty will wait.
Start with instant noodles.
As for himself and Bai, of course, it would be the lamb chop al filled with abundant energy!
Using the recent iron basin design diagram, he spent one Iron Block to craft a big iron basin. Then Lin Yue took out a slab of lamb chops from his Storage Space, swiftly pierced it with a dagger, and coated it with a seasoning pack of soy sauce, salt, and cumin powder for marinating, before placing the chops in the basin.
Thinking for a mont, he took out one pound of Lion-headed Bear at, acquired from the Underground Ruins where he had disposed of the Lion-headed Bear, carved it with a dagger, and returned it to the Storage Space.
Lin Yue expertly skewered the pound on the iron spits the oven ca with, marinating it with so pepper and salt.
Unfortunately, the onion in the greenhouse wasn’t mature yet, and he lacked a fridge to marinate overnight, so he had to settle for this.
With all this done, Lin Yue set a pot of rice to steam, then took out the newly acquired high-end oven set, wiped it down a bit, and placed it beside the rice pot.
Lin Yue now really enjoyed the cooking process, even though it took quite so ti.
But at this mont, using delicious food to wash away fatigue and satisfy increasingly picky stomachs, temporarily forgetting the dangers and hardships of the Otherworld, was truly excellent.
He turned back to the kitchen, set the pot on the fire, and started making instant noodles.
Considering the Little Ice Lizards’ appetite, Lin Yue boiled 4 packs of noodles at once.
Instant noodles cooked quickly; the Little Ice Lizards slled the aroma and scurried into the kitchen, anxiously spinning around on the floor as Bai remained composed.
This guy slyly approached the outdoor oven, having already seen Lin Yue preparing lamb chops and skewered at, also slling the aroma of rice.
anwhile, Lin Yue crafted three more iron basins.
Adding the seasoning packets, Lin Yue poured the noodles from the iron pot into one iron basin, then used five plates to serve the noodles.
The aroma overwheld the Little Ice Lizards—they couldn’t take it anymore. After cooling the noodles with a mist, they greedily consud them.
"Once again proving, Ice Lizards as a mutated species are truly food lovers," Lin Yue comnted.
He left the kitchen, approaching Bai, who had been waiting for a long ti, grabbing the lamb chops from the basin and cutting them into two large pieces, sprinkling chili powder liberally on one side—this was for him, while Bai ate the non-spicy.
"Puchi puchi!" Bai urged Lin Yue; it seed very hungry.
"Alright, alright, eat well; we still have work to do. No need to rush," Lin Yue placed the burning charcoal into the grill, skillfully laying the lamb chops on the iron grid, then added the Lion-headed Bear skewers beside them.
Soon, the sizzling, oily skewers, along with the fragrant lamb chops, turned golden crispy under Lin Yue’s grill.
He sprinkled half with chili, the other with so salt and cumin—ti to eat!
Bai grabbed a lamb chop, chewing happily without even letting off any steam, its mouth coated in oil.
anwhile, Lin Yue picked up a Lion-headed Bear skewer, taking a gentle bite.
However, upon entering his mouth, the Lion-headed Bear’s at suddenly exploded with intense flavor!
Wow, what is this?
This never-before-experienced delicacy stunned Lin Yue for a mont.
Savory and delicious, fatty but not greasy, lean yet tender, lting in the mouth!
Lin Yue even felt the lamb chops beside him suddenly less appealing.
Bai, seeing Lin Yue like this, didn’t know what was going on, but when it stuffed a grilled Lion-headed Bear skewer into its mouth, its eyes widened!
"Bai, isn’t it super delicious? Right, right? After finishing, how about another trip to the Underground Ruins to hunt Lion-headed Bears?"
"Puchi puchi!"
Lizardn, you better get more Lion-headed Bears to guard the door.
Lin Yue imrsed himself in the delicious taste, unable to break free, instinctively looking towards the direction of the basent...
