Lin Yue opened the door of the Space Sleep Pod.
He hadn’t showered yesterday and had just dozed off in the sleep pod, so he still had quite a bit of sweat on him.
Scrunching his nose, Lin Yue waved his arm, and a screen on the wall appeared, informing him that the outside temperature was 19 degrees with a light breeze.
Lin Yue walked to the window and looked at the sky.
It was incredibly gloomy, even more so than yesterday.
Then he looked beyond the walls.
The Lizardn had disappeared.
Lin Yue raised an eyebrow.
He quickly donned his Super Alloy Flying Armor, took the elevator down to the first floor, and rushed out.
The flying mode of the armor activated, and Lin Yue instantly dashed from the doorway to the outermost part of the wall.
He was imdiately able to see that there was not a single Lizardman outside the walls!
However, the ground showed signs that there had been a fierce battle here.
Uneven terrain, stained dark like ink with a large amount of blood, confird this.
But where did the Lizardn’s corpses go?
Lin Yue searched for a while and eventually found hundreds of huge, blackish-grey ashes on the north side of the wall.
These were the charred remnants of the Lizardn’s bodies.
What on earth happened yesterday?
Even though he didn’t really consider the Lizardn a threat, the Horned Monsters might be worthless, but Bai and the others were there.
Still, he truly hadn’t expected things to unfold as they did now.
Lin Yue landed on the wall, and his heart was filled more with puzzlent than shock.
Where were Bai and the others? The Little Ice Lizards?
The Horned Monsters?
How did they all vanish?
Could it be...
At this mont, a familiar flapping of wings and the sound of sothing slicing through the air reached him, and Lin Yue saw a large shadow descending from the sky.
"Master, you’re up." Bai looked at the master with wide eyes full of confusion, guessing what he was thinking, "Yesterday’s battle turned out just like the ashes you saw; we wiped out almost half of the Lizardn, and the rest fled."
"Wiped out half? Approximately how many?" Lin Yue was quite shocked by this number.
Half... that must be at least over a hundred thousand?
The number sounded simple, but in reality, it was extrely terrifying.
"To be precise, it should be a little over 170,000, Master," Bai replied.
"170,000... How did you co up with that number?" Lin Yue was still skeptical.
"Master, it was the Divine Horn Race who ca up with that number after lightly cleaning the battlefield post-battle. It wouldn’t be more, only less."
"The Divine Horn Race... they survived?" Lin Yue wasn’t surprised by this; surely one or two had to survive, even a few stragglers would live.
"Yes, Master, the Divine Horn Race survived, and not a single one was lost. Those heavily injured only sustained minor injuries; they are very strong," Bai nodded. "Even the smallest among them are absolutely formidable fighters. They are remarkably fast and powerful, with weapons you provided, the Lizardn were utterly unable to withstand them and were completely overwheld."
Lin Yue was now completely taken aback: "What did you say? Not a single one was lost? Bai, are you certain?"
What is going on?
The Horned Monsters, no, the Divine Horn Race, could they be super formidable?
I thought they were too incompetent before...
Could the reason actually be that we are too strong?
