"That’s it, that old fellow has sent dozens of ssages from morning till now, constantly advising not to take similar actions, seems really anxious. As for Lily Kalahao, there’s not a bit of movent from her, really strange."
Fei Yue also felt that Lily Kalahao seed to have vanished into thin air, completely unconcerned with him, Fei Yue, acting completely differently from her previous aggressive approach.
It feels like she has beco a different person.
"That person is probably plotting in secret too. Fei Yue, your pace isn’t slow, and I doubt Lily Kalahao will be silent without any action. Her current calm could an a strong retaliation later on. Fei Yue, during battles, you have to be careful, especially you, make sure to stay safe, and focus on attacking the Lizardn, rather than conquering the surroundings. Those tasks can be handled by your subordinates."
"I’m very aware of that; nobody’s life is more important than my own. I won’t give anyone the chance to strike unexpectedly. Right now, I’m exploring the Underground Ruins with my followers, there’s not much opportunity to encounter enemies, by the way, regarding what you asked about yesterday, I have so clues."
"Yes, that’s significant." Lin Yue sighed in relief and finally brought up the Gate of Exploration.
"Our people entered the Gate of Exploration and found a huge valley surrounded by towering mountains. Inside live creatures whose heads resemble dogs or wolves, but oddly enough, they didn’t attack upon seeing us. Instead, they knelt down and stayed still. Isn’t that bizarre?" Fei Yue found it quite interesting.
After all, the first reaction upon seeing unknown creatures would be combat or escape, how could it be kneeling?
"Ah, that’s indeed strange."
They are Wolf-headed n!
Lin Yue’s heart raced, what a stroke of luck!
Though saying it was "strange", Lin Yue actually wasn’t surprised at all.
The Wolf-headed n were subdued and due to the Authority Ring for Wolf-headed n and multiple Gem ores, they behaved like this.
But, the Gate of Exploration is on Fei Yue’s side... Seems I’ll continue the previous journey tomorrow.
"Well then, Lin Yue, I’ll continue exploring now. If I discover anything, I’ll inform you imdiately. If you have any knowledge, let know too."
Fei Yue hung up the voice call, and over on Lin Yue’s side, Bai flew back clutching two of the triangular red-skinned humanoid creatures each.
"Master, captured four, ranging from common to advanced." Bai landed on the ground, seeing Lin Yue deep in thought, knowing the master was pondering sothing else.
It didn’t rush Lin Yue but waited patiently by his side for Lin Yue to look up.
"Well done, Bai. By the way, Fei Yue ntioned the Gate of Exploration leads to the Wolf-headed n’s valley, seems you have tasks to do."
"That’s great!" Bai clapped its big paws enthusiastically, "Master, Bai requests to go there now!"
"Wait, don’t rush, handle the current matter first." Lin Yue eyed the four motionless creatures and noticed the horns on their heads were different.
One horn for the low-level ones, two for the mid-level, three for the high-level.
Goodness, these things even have tiers.
Lin Yue looked carefully at their appearance, pondered, and decided to call them "Horned Monsters" for convenience.
"Master, is calling them ’Horned Monsters’ a bit casual?" Bai inquired.
"I’m terrible at naming, let’s go with Horned Monsters. Bai, they’re so noisy, can you start learning their language now?" Lin Yue noticed the Horned Monsters lacked resistance.
They were firmly held by Bai, unable to move. Lin Yue tied them with ropes and let Bai listen to their ongoing cries.
Eversince they were captured, they’ve been making noise non-stop, tongues firing like machine guns.
"Master, I’m listening." Bai dutifully listened to the Horned Monsters, and before long, when Xiao ng and others returned to rest, Bai nodded heavily in realization.
"How is it?" Lin Yue regulated the system panel, sending basic materials to Fei Yue to assist in expanding the road and stopped as he noticed Bai’s gesture.
"Master, almost there, I can understand what they’re saying now." Bai had learned so of the language in a short ti, but it had tried its best.
"Oh? You’re quite swift. Then, any useful information?" Lin Yue lifted his head and asked.
"Master, they call themselves the ’Divine Horn Race,’ a powerful fighting race, possessing extraordinary strength, yet after being defeated by Bai, they prefer following the strongest perspective, believing Bai is the strongest one. Since you didn’t act, they don’t quite respect you, should I kill them?"
Lin Yue raised an eyebrow. Goodness, they lack respect for , huh.
