"What do you think?" Fei Yue said, listening to Lin Yue’s silence on the other side.
Lin Yue only felt that the mural in Zone D was shocking, and moreover, Fei Yue’s words were profoundly terrifying in detail.
The mural depicted not sothing else.
It was precisely how the Lizardn used a complex and intricate ritual process to "summon" sothing with the altar.
Human-like creatures with ears on their heads, which Lin Yue saw as "Wolf-headed n," were driven together and then slaughtered, with their blood used to soak the gems.
After soaking, the gems would be placed in various "Divine Halls," with rituals conducted beside the gems using the corpses of Wolf-headed n.
Only one gem would be left to be placed on the altar.
Out of twelve gems, eleven would be in various Divine Halls, and when the "summoning" was about to comnce, a Lizardman Priest would collect the gems from the Divine Halls to bring to the gigantic altar.
Next, twelve Lizardman Priests would kill each other on the altar as sacrifices, and as the ritual concluded, the enormous stone statue would erge from beneath the ground up to the surface.
Finally, under the rays from two giant moons, sothing would be summoned beside the statue.
"What gets summoned is... this, isn’t it."
Seeing sothing entirely incongruous with the mural era appear, Lin Yue still felt it resembled soone’s prank rather than originally existing.
"Do you also think so?" Fei Yue shared the sentint on the other end.
Upon seeing what the Lizardn summoned in the mural’s depiction, he too found it absurd.
How could such a thing appear on a mural?
However, as he walked over to observe carefully, he was indeed unable to find any flaw.
It had been carved and depicted an unknown ti ago, not added by later generations.
"I think I need so ti to digest this. Fei Yue, let’s discuss the words of that person feigning surrender."
Temple throbbing painfully, Lin Yue felt his worldview seed reshaped.
Originally, the world’s existence, its rationality, or its various aspects, all gave him a sense of "mystical" and "déjà vu," but now, upon seeing the summoned entity, Lin Yue felt this sensation had entirely morphed into sothing else.
Absurdity...
He now even understood why, when he flew into the sky, those Lizardn ceased attacking him.
"The word ’Survivor’ said by that person — I had heard once before but never paid much attention. Now it seems, it isn’t so." Lin Yue recalled what a captured prisoner had said before.
Survivor, not beggar.
Moreover, the relationship with the Lizardn wasn’t the "superior-subordinate" relationship he always believed but a partnership from that account.
Perhaps even as comrades jointly obeying soone.
Originally, Lin Yue could discard this as false intelligence, considering it might be a strategic ploy of that person feigning surrender to lay explosives, but upon closer thought...
"Lizardn and beggars, maybe truly aren’t together?"
Lin Yue thought of the previous engagents with Lizardn and beggars, recollecting the many inexplicable aspects, eventually arriving at this conclusion!
