He’s involved too?
Lin Yue felt that his guess was pretty spot-on, and imdiately asked, "Did you guys tell him not to contact , and not even trade with , is that right?"
Old Sun was breathing heavily; what else did Lin Yue know?
"Yes, he took the initiative to contact us, saying... saying he didn’t want you to keep getting bigger. Anyway, there’s no nitrocellulose being sold elsewhere, so he thought he’d just ignore you and pretend he’s in the Secret Realm."
"It wasn’t you who contacted him first? He reached out to you?" Although Lin Yue was suspicious, he didn’t have evidence. But Old Sun being able to accurately ntion nitrocellulose made it mostly true.
"Yes, he really did contact us first. We hadn’t even thought about adding him, after all, you know, an extra person ans dividing more shares! We had so many brothers, where would there be shares for him? But Du Ping said, it could just deplete all your bullets and without replenishnt, so..."
Of course, that was the sche.
Let the Lizardman and those Secret Realm monsters be the fodder, and once his bullets ran out, they’d rush in.
"Then, let ask you, how well do you know Xing Lingfeng?"
This was the crucial point to determine whether this Xing Lingfeng was the sa as the one ntioned in the diary!
"Uh? This, this..."
"Doomsday Bunker."
Lin Yue softly uttered the four words.
But in Old Sun’s ears, it was like a thunderclap!
"How do you know about it?!" Old Sun almost imdiately retorted, he couldn’t fathom how Lin Yue knew about it!
Why did he know? Du Ping didn’t know anything about the Doomsday Bunker... could it be Xing Lingfeng? No, no, that person couldn’t possibly know!
Then what...
Old Sun breathed heavily, even though he had indeed told Du Ping about his two experiences of survival, but...
"What do you think? What should you be telling now?" Lin Yue’s voice remained calm and emotionless.
"I’ll say! I’ll say, I... I’ve actually been, survived twice before. The last ti was at the Doomsday Bunker you ntioned, and, and..." Sweat continuously rolled down his forehead, he mumbled, feeling drenched all over with sweat.
The cold Desert Eagle at the back of his head was never lowered.
Lin Yue understood.
Indeed.
So...
"And Xing Lingfeng?"
"Xing Lingfeng, he... he’s also been twice! Last ti he ca with to survive!"
Oh wow.
Case solved.
This Xing Lingfeng is that Xing Lingfeng!
It made sense, how could there be two people with such a unique na.
However, this explained all of Xing Lingfeng’s various oddities completely.
"You guys being in this Otherworld is the second ti now, that much is clear to . But what I’m more interested in is how you and Xing Lingfeng returned."
Lin Yue didn’t want to hear anything else about the trivial matters inside the Doomsday Bunker; he was only concerned with those unknown things.
The diary contained so mysteries, but the most peculiar or rather, the most incomprehensible thing was the disappearance of Xing Lingfeng.
In the diary, when Xing Lingfeng and Old Sun were exploring the Otherworld, they once saw a door by a small lake.
Then, after lingering there for a while, they returned to the original Shelter, but Xing Lingfeng made an excuse to leave and never ca back.
This Old Sun also suddenly disappeared in the latter part of the diary.
This was the biggest mystery in that diary.
And just now, Old Sun admitted that it was his and Xing Lingfeng’s second ti here when they last ca seeking survival, adding another layer of mystery to this enigma.
How did they return to Earth? Why were they able to return? Was it through a door that sounded like the Ancient Secret Realm Gate?
"Re-Return..." Old Sun swallowed, feeling parched and his head buzzing.
He struggled to recall, tried to rember what happened back then.
If he couldn’t recall, Lin Yue might just...
I don’t want to die! Old Sun scread inside!
Seeing that Old Sun’s physical strength seed to be waning, Lin Yue pulled out a chair for him to sit on, but Old Sun just collapsed onto it. Lin Yue had Little ng hold him down and tie him securely with a rope.
Next, he took out the diary found in the Doomsday Bunker, letting Old Sun look at it, which detailed the tis he and Xing Lingfeng were together.
Panting heavily, Old Sun looked at the diary—seeming to awaken mories from decades ago—and saw the words "Xing Lingfeng" and "Old Sun," realizing it was useless to hide anything anymore.
"I’ll tell everything, I’ll say it all."
His entire body felt as if the bones had been removed, and Little ng strapped him tight to the chair to prevent him from falling over.
"Twenty-nine years ago, I was first brought to this Otherworld, along with supposedly a hundred million people, by soone calling it the ’system,’ to weather each calamity and strive to survive till the end. After barely getting through two disasters, and witnessing a pile of people die, I t Wang Gang. Wang Gang is the owner of this diary of yours, a big idiot."
Old Sun’s words ca unexpectedly fast, though he now lay limply against the back of the chair, his eyes vacant and lifeless.
