On the lush desert, unbeknownst to them, several fortunate Lizardn escaped and despairingly gazed at the enormous walls of the Nitrate Ore.
A gigantic dragon circled overhead, vigilantly watching the surroundings atop the Nitrate Ore.
Though they were reluctant to admit it, the Nitrate Ore had once again changed ownership at that mont.
If it hadn’t been for diving into the tunnels, they wouldn’t have escaped from the powerful humans and the gigantic dragon.
At this mont, one companion raised the Iron Spear in their hand and furiously roared at the distant dragon, scaring the others into a frantic state, trying hastily to hide it on the ground.
But, as a gust of wind suddenly swept in, they knew in absolute terror that it was too late for anything!
"Where did Bai go?" Lin Yue was picking up the Copper Treasure Chests on the ground, and noticing Bai, who was once circling in the sky, was now missing, he turned to ask the quiet, sauce-making Black Dot and Green Claw.
The two little guys quickly shook their heads, making a few chirping sounds, indicating they also didn’t know where Bai went.
"Really? It’s been longer this ti." Lin Yue wasn’t worried about Bai running into trouble.
He was worried that Bai might go after the lucky escaped Lizardn and end up dumping a bunch of half-dead, crippled ones in front of him.
Seems like Bai is really addicted to opening treasure chests...
Should he raise so scavenger beetles or sothing, and then do so intensive harvesting, maybe get more wooden treasure chests to satisfy Bai’s curiosity?
Thinking about these issues, after picking up the last Silver Treasure Chest, another gust of wind swept in, and he saw Bai toss the seven Lizardn stuck on its claws to the ground.
"No wonder, seven!" Lin Yue was even more surprised by the number that had managed to escape the Nitrate Ore he had just engaged head-on.
Looking down at the Lizardn, Lin Yue realized their legs and arms had been severed by sharp claws, now twitching constantly on the ground, clearly still alive.
"Well done, are you an owl catching voles?" Lin Yue chuckled, recognizing these were Bai’s spoils.
The battle had just ended, yet Bai flew into the air, circling above the Nitrate Ore, occasionally capturing a few half-crippled Lizardn, and even catching a couple of beggars, seemingly having a great ti.
Pulling out the Outstanding Iron Spear, Lin Yue punctured several holes in the hearts and necks of the Lizardn one by one, soon causing Copper Treasure Chests to explode out!
"Gah woo!" Bai joyously clapped their big paws, while Black Dot and Green Claw followed with their little paws.
"Emmmm... well, as long as you’re happy."
Is getting a few Copper Treasure Chests enough to make you happy? You’re really easily pleased.
Lin Yue laughed, patting Bai’s back, checking the haul of treasure chests this ti.
This ti, regaining control over the Nitrate Ore was indeed by sheer force; no strategy was used, just direct combat.
In the face of absolute power, hot weapons completely dominated cold weapons, not to ntion Bai crazily seeking treasure chests—even with Black Dot and Green Claw loafing around, neither the Lizardn nor the beggars held out for long.
Indeed, the battle was sowhat excessively simple.
Happily, Lin Yue stashed 137 Copper Treasure Chests into the Storage Space, surprisingly discovering two Silver Treasure Chests.
He let Bai open the Copper Treasure Chests, but reserved the Silver ones for himself; though few, having them was already good.
Lizardn capable of yielding Silver Treasure Chests were generally squad leaders with slightly higher attack and combat abilities than average ones, killing more would naturally be better.
After all, other Survivors lacked his variety of weapons; facing Lizardn and beggars, they might fall into tough battles.
Lin Yue began to think if there were indeed ways to gather hundreds of thousands of Lizardn and beggars together, he would gladly use an intercontinental missile launcher to give them a once-in-a-lifeti bombardnt.
Such actions would surely deliver a powerful psychological and physical blow to the Lizardn and beggars, preventing them from troubling Survivors shortly afterward.
Unfortunately, there were no intel suggesting such a gathering; the Lizardn wouldn’t congregate unless they aid to overwhelm his Shelter with sheer numbers, which seed impossible.
The Lizardn were greatly dispersed; if a thod existed to gather them, Lin Yue would unhesitatingly utilize it.
Incidentally, if Lizardn truly intended to assault the Shelter, now would be an opportune mont—the absence of walls, robotic dogs, and dium Electric Guard Machine Gun Platforms made defense exceptionally weak.
Despite most Little Ice Lizards were stationed as guards, and Xiao Liu’s strength was reliable, if a force above ten thousand attacked... it would be hard to say.
Unless, Xiao ng and the others returned soon from the Underground Ruins.
Although Lizardn’s attack wasn’t remarkable, and beggars were a re addition, that applied when he was at the Shelter with Bai and Xiao ng also there.
Little Ice Lizards moved swiftly, but lacking clear command, their combat relied on instinct rather than effective utilization.
"Haha, what am I worrying unnecessarily about? How could there possibly be a siege of ten thousand?" Reflecting on this, Lin Yue realized he might have overthought.
Due to last ti’s intense heat disaster, the Lizardn migrated from the Underground Ruins to mountainous areas for refuge, and after just two days, they should be returning or reacclimating to the Ruins.
Any commotion now would likely be small-scale; as for ten thousand besieging, such ideas were fantastical.
Shaking his head, Lin Yue refocused on reality.
The number of beggar corpses on the ground wasn’t large, but Lin Yue wasn’t about to neglect the Storage Space they left behind.
Even with more than a thousand cubic ters, who’d complain about excess?

If beggars still mixed with Lizardn now, there shouldn’t be complaints about their demise.
