Admittedly, Copper Treasure Chests could contain things like water, food, or so survival trinkets, or even sothing like area maps.
For him, however, he already had loads and loads of these, especially water and food, more than enough to last him two to three years without leaving his place.
Those survival tools were even less useful, items like various small knives, pots, and pans, which he already had plenty of in stock, only causing his warehouse to beco even more bloated.
The only useful thing was probably the area map fragnts.
Exploring the map in this Otherworld with just the body was quite tough, even with Bai or a sand buggy, the distance covered in a day was limited, and mapping was inefficient.
So, it seed that collecting Copper Treasure Chests was just for the area map fragnts, at least for him right now.

He didn’t bring much in the way of vegetables and at, as the majority was given to Fei Yue, but he had plenty of wine, which didn’t take up space and could serve as a solid currency.
And as for intelligence...

You could say that in the 21st century, no, in the Otherworld the most valuable thing is "intelligence"!
Provided that the intelligence is precious enough.
And judging by yesterday’s reaction from Fei Yue, the intelligence he had, possibly unknown to almost every survivor, seed to be quite likely.
"We have enough vegetables and at for now, having been storing them all along, but if you have wine we do need so, and we’re more interested in the intelligence you ntioned."
Xing Lingfeng imdiately replied to Lin Yue, and his response was as expected by Lin Yue.
