"Bai, you go back to the shelter first and take a look. Xiao ng and I will keep moving forward. You catch up with us once you’re done, understood?"
Thinking about the relatively weak defense in the shelter, Lin Yue felt so concern. It wouldn’t be true to say he wasn’t worried at all.
The Lizardn and beggars typically don’t attack during the day. All the previous assaults were their doing, except for the ti when they drove out giant creatures and later brought out the Poison Celestial Dragon, all during the day.
If the Lizardn and beggars try anything funny now, Xiao Liuzi and Hong Xian leading the Little Ice Lizards might find themselves in a hard battle.
"Gawu!" Bai glanced back in the direction of the shelter, nodded, and quickly took off into the sky.
"Hope nothing bad happens," Lin Yue looked at Xiao ng, "Can you carry while running, or should I drive upfront?"
The dune buggy can navigate this bumpy desert terrain, but sitting on Xiao ng and letting him carry is a rather novel experience.
"Guo!" Xiao ng seed delighted with Lin Yue’s suggestion, and eagerly patted his back, signaling Lin Yue to hop on.
"Really? Then I won’t hold back," deepening his bond with Xiao ng was undoubtedly a positive thing, and experiencing Xiao ng’s heavy armored vehicle-like body running was a kind of fun too.
Lin Yue climbed onto Xiao ng’s solid bone armor on the back and soon settled in. Xiao ng, once Lin Yue was secured, let out a sudden low roar and bolted forward!
He felt a fierce wind rushing towards him with Xiao ng’s movent, and more intensely, the overpowering vibration as Xiao ng took each step brought an unprecedented discomfort!
"Xiao ng, stop, stop..." Lin Yue quickly called out to stop, and Xiao ng obediently halted.
He totally didn’t understand why his master would stop him; did he forget sothing?
"Xiao ng, it’s nothing, I’ll drive instead. You go ahead, let’s try to maintain the sa speed, understood?"
Xiao ng nodded, agreeing with his master’s proposal, and continued to stride forward.
Lin Yue took out the dune buggy again, vowing never to let Xiao ng carry him anymore. Wow, super car-sickness mode, no one could stand it.
Compared to Bai in the sky with barely any bumps, riding Xiao ng, this battle vehicle isn’t suited for riding; solo driving is better.
After getting on the dune buggy, Lin Yue opened the system panel and checked the direction on the regional map.
And at this mont, he suddenly noticed, from his shelter reaching all the way to this vicinity of the mine, the area had turned light blue on the map.
Previously, only the area near the road and the mine pit was like that.
Why has it expanded so much?
After pondering for a mont, Lin Yue understood the reason.
Shelter!
Since he built a shelter here, the system automatically considered this area entirely as his, thus expanding the light blue area drastically to the size of a single regional map fragnt.
As for two enclaves, one near the Natural Sulfur Ore Mountain, occupying mostly, the other at Fei Yue’s forr Refugee Village, though it seems Fei Yue’s side left only an uninhabited shelter; people are nowhere to be found, and he hasn’t sent any ssages yet.
Starting the dune buggy, Lin Yue quickly accelerated and soon caught up with Xiao ng, driving beside him to maintain the speed.
Can’t rush; although Bai’s tail arrow wasn’t critical, it signifies one thing.
The Lizardn and beggars noticed Bai and realized it’s a threat or maybe soone noticed it’s his underlings’ dragon!
After last night’s severe losses, they certainly reinforced their combat strength, but being able to hit Bai with an arrow implies a considerable scale, and maybe certain ambushes await!
Seems like we can’t underestimate the Lizardn and beggars...
They might have fully prepared.
Even with plenty of good cards, we can’t go head-to-head recklessly; given their numbers, if surrounded by a trap, it would cause a lot of trouble.
And although they only possess so cold weapons, they do have bombs; if organized, it could beco quite problematic.
However, it’s not entirely without a plan.
Lin Yue drove onward while contemplating new strategies.
After traveling further, about three to four kiloters on the regional map, Lin Yue then slowed down the vehicle; nearby, Xiao ng also stopped his steps.
"Xiao ng, from now, we should slowly approach, can’t make too much noise like now."
Xiao ng nodded, showing he understood.
Lin Yue looked back at the sky; Bai showed no signs of returning, nor was there any information about how Hei Dian and Green Claw’s Little Ice Lizards were doing.
He took out water, letting Xiao ng drink to satisfaction, before Lin Yue continued driving forward, albeit much slower than before.
You couldn’t see directly the scenes at the nitrate ore, and likewise, they couldn’t see over here.
After advancing a while longer, Lin Yue finally stopped the vehicle again, this ti directly storing it in the Storage Space.
