"Unexpectedly, humanity, in order to survive, has thought up such a way to debase themselves for survival."

Lin Yue looked at the group of survivors bandaging the Lizardn and couldn’t help but feel a sense of disdain.

There should be no mistake.

These survivors were not enslaved by the Lizardn, nor were they forced by them to do this.

Instead, to escape disaster and barely cling to life in this apocalypse that occurs every seven days, they chose to beco the Lizardn’s "partners"—no, more accurately, a more contemptible existence.

They beca parasites, working for the Lizardn, for a guarantee of safety and a place to survive.

Through the sighting scope, those humans continued to give ergency aid to the Lizardman. However, soone seed to have discovered the gunshot wound, shouting in panic and calling the Lizardn to run away together.

Lin Yue put down the sniper rifle.

This further confird his earlier judgnt.

These survivors chose such a humble and lowly path.

They could have used their own hands to create, to carve out a path for survival in this Otherworld.

With the system’s support, no matter how dire things get, as long as they worked diligently to gather basic resources like wood and iron blocks or banded together to hunt and adapt to the Otherworld, it would certainly be better than teaming up with the Lizardn, these lower-intelligence creatures.

Lin Yue didn’t believe that any consensus could be reached with these Lizardn, who eat human flesh and use human heads as offerings to monsters.

Nor did he believe these Lizardn, which could even be called "threats," were worth trusting.

But at this mont, these humans were fighting alongside the Lizardn, seemingly trying to curry favor by covering their retreat.

Ridiculous. Pathetic.

When did humans beco so submissive?

The majority of people were struggling to survive, yet there was a handful who chose this path.

Lin Yue took a deep breath.

He had no right to interfere in such matters, nor in others’ choices.

But he had the right to interfere with forces aiming to strip his Ore Mountain bare, to show them who the real owner is.

Would you dare to mine it without taking out the giant creatures?

Lin Yue recognized his own arrogance, but without it, he wouldn’t have survived to this point.

Whiz!

The sniper rifle fired again, continuously shooting.

Lizardn fell one by one, but they were only critically hit in the thighs by the bullets, making it hard for them to stand or move.

After emptying three magazines and downing 18 Lizardn, Lin Yue grabbed other weapons, stood up, and mounted the ATV.

After the Little Ice Lizards got on, Lin Yue restarted the ATV and proceeded forward amid the roaring engine sounds!

The natural sulfur mine had already fallen into chaos.

Lizardn howled loudly, bleeding, while panicked humans ran amok.

So even lifted injured Lizardn, while others were herded away by Lizardn wielding stone swords and iron spears.

Heh.

The more Lin Yue looked, the more annoyed he beca.

If the Lizardn wanted, if they deed you useless, they could just chop off your heads instantly—look at you, even handing over weapons to them! Are you not concerned about your own lives?

This is not how an alliance is supposed to work.

Moreover, an alliance should at least ensure that the other party’s strength is sowhat comparable.

The only thing Lizardn have in abundance is numbers—what else?

Stone spears and stone swords?

The engine’s roar gradually echoed toward the chaotic natural sulfur mine.

Many humans saw the tal beast, which one would usually only find on Earth, and couldn’t help but shout loudly. So even pointed and gestured toward Lin Yue, so directly charging toward him.

But Lin Yue quickly taught these cowardly humans a single word with his actions.

Screw off!!

Putting on earmuffs, Lin Yue halted the vehicle and fired a shot in the direction of the crowd!

"He, he has a gun!" "It was him earlier!" "Run!"

"There’s just one of him, let’s kill him!" "Yeah, there’s so many of us, what are we afraid of? You go first!" "Yes, you first, you first!"

After pausing, the group clustered together, twisting in front, shouting in various languages, with voices trembling with fear and trepidation.

Seeing the roaring car approaching closer, they finally scattered and fled in panic.

"Get lost!!" Lin Yue’s vehicle herded these pests; killing them would be aningless. He didn’t understand these people, nor did he want to.

They were unard, non-threatening, like aphids nurtured by ants; the ants provided safe, comfortable hos for the honey they excrete. When honey runs dry, or they no longer produce it, they’d beco the ants’ reserve food!

The cries and wails of the group intensified the chaos.

Lin Yue stopped the car about seventy ters away and grabbed various weapons again.

"Little Ice Lizards, remain vigilant all around!"

Wearing the exoskeleton, he firmly planted the alloy explosion-proof shield on the ground with his left arm, setting aside the shotgun and sniper rifle. He brandished the alloy tactical crossbow, half-crouched behind the explosion-proof shield, and imdiately fired an arrow at an approaching Lizardman!

Boom!

The Lizardman turned into a fireball instantly, and as Lin Yue loaded a second burning arrow, he picked up the steel repeating crossbow and fired an armor-piercing arrow into another Lizardman’s thigh.

He acquired a Copper Treasure Chest, just fifty ters away, well within all his weapons’ range. The downed Lizardman was rendered combat-ineffective, unable to move.

The reason for handling it this way was firstly that Lin Yue didn’t want the people to witness his ability to surely obtain the treasure chest.

Secondly, he didn’t want the Lizardn to pick up the treasure chest.

Distantly, the crowd began to chatter noisily. They initially intended to flee toward the Acid Rain Lake but were now driven back by a pack of Lizardn.

Facing a fully ard Lin Yue, they had no ans whatsoever to contend.

Although they wielded more weapons, to Lin Yue, they posed no threat.

He calmly shot the approaching Lizardn one by one, either piercing their thighs or blasting their lower abdons to near death; aside from the first two, he left others severely injured without killing them.

With each Lizardman shot down, the area gradually ended up with only survivors, either standing or crawling.

The gun barrel gradually heated, and Lin Yue released another burst from the shotgun, aiming at the sky.

These people didn’t attack him, so he had no reason to attack them.

Though he found their choices and behavior disdainful, it wasn’t enough of a reason to strike.

In fact, it wasn’t enough to make him act.

The crowd began dispersing in panic, the Lizardn pushing them were lying on the ground, leaving no reason to clash with Lin Yue.

Dropping their weapons, they scattered in all directions.

Lin Yue also noticed so disappeared as they reached stones or ground surfaces; they probably retreated into escape tunnels.

As more escaped into tunnels, the battlefield was left only with a few dozen Lizardn confronting him.

Lin Yue picked up the explosion-proof shield and, confirming no humans remained, grabbed the Outstanding Iron Spear and decapitated the first Lizardman he had shot down.

"You’ve obtained a Copper Treasure Chest!"

The Lizardn realized starkly that the fully ard survivor before them was entirely different from those around them!

"Next, none of you will escape!"

Lin Yue stated, raising his weapon, followed by another gunshot!
