Lin Yue stood once again in front of the iron gate of the Secret Realm, checking all his equipnt once more.

He brought two flashlights just in case, both with new batteries, and enough food and water for about three days as a precaution. Of course, he didn’t forget the Dongbei Ge disaster prevention tent either.

The tactical crossbow was equipped with fifty Burning Arrows and fifty Armor-Piercing Arrows. The M19 Pistol was loaded with sixteen bullets and he carried six full magazines. The sniper rifle, chambered, was placed in the Storage Space, with five magazines accompanying it.

Additionally, he brought along a gas mask, a dagger, and even the Outstanding Iron Spear.

To avoid having to go back and forth to fetch items this ti, Lin Yue also brought the High-Precision Research Workstation with him.

After feeding the Little Ice Lizards with so boiled noodles, Lin Yue prepared a little feast for Bai, ng, and the two accompanying Little Ice Lizards, letting them enjoy so fried food along with grilled lamb chops.

Bai’s "Lifebound Talent" is Gluttony Release. Although this ability couldn’t manifest physically, through Lin Yue’s long-ti observations of Bai, he indeed found that Bai’s combat power, when fully fed or even overfed, was far superior to its normal state or when it hadn’t eaten for a long ti.

Much like when confronting the giant Ox-Carrier Serpent Dragon, it managed to take off nurous tis for prolonged periods while carrying that heavy gasoline barrel, moving it up and down, and taking him into the high skies. This would have been impossible had it not been thoroughly fed.

Yet, Lin Yue also noticed sothing.

Aside from Bai, he hadn’t established a master-servant relationship with ng or the other Little Ice Lizards, like the one recognized by the system between him and Bai.

At least, the system never reminded him with anything like "You have acquired a new pet," and he couldn’t check the status of ng or the other Little Ice Lizards in the system panel.

"Is it possible the intimacy level isn’t high enough? Or is it that hatching from an egg is easier to be recognized by the system than being brought back from outside?"

Lin Yue muttered to himself while also glancing at Bai.

Though no master-servant relationship had been established with the Little Ice Lizards, and they sotis didn’t obey commands well, they seed quite afraid of Bai. As long as Bai cast a glare, they wouldn’t dare make a sound.

"Let’s head out, Bai, ensure the two little ones listen to commands."

"Gawu." Bai nodded, and ng also mimicked a nod, though whether they really acted accordingly, Lin Yue couldn’t be certain.

Pushing open the rusty iron gate, Lin Yue entered this dark place once again.

With the steel rails removed from the ground, there were several rail-shaped pits. As he moved forward with the flashlight in hand, he kept an eye on his footing.

Both ends were blocked by collapsed rocks, and there was nothing worth searching for. Lin Yue produced a ladder and ascended to the platform.

The platform was empty, with only so rusty chairs, trash cans, fallen signboards, oddly arranged graffiti on the wall, and when Lin Yue’s flashlight lit up the edge, he discovered a row of tal fences, which seed rather nice.

[Iron Horse Guardrail]

Oh, that’s what this thing is called? Well, it doesn’t matter; ti to dismantle.

He touched it to the High-Precision Research Workstation he had just taken out and chose disassemble. Soon, Lin Yue acquired the resources he desired.

[You obtained Stainless Steel X4]

Nice, four blocks of stainless steel. Let’s keep going.

[You obtained Stainless Steel X2]

[You obtained Stainless Steel X3]

Finally having collected all the Iron Horse Guardrails, he looked at those rusty chairs and considered, then decided to skip them.

He still had so Iron Blocks, so he wasn’t short of them for now, and he didn’t want to touch rusty things since, upon careful thought, they didn’t seem very useful.

Speaking of which, last ti when he left here, Bai had warned him about the dangers here, but this ti, there seed to be no issues at all.

Lin Yue ticulously checked the ground and indeed found a pile of miscellaneous items beside several pillars.

"Feces?" He furrowed his brows.

The size of the feces was quite large, but their sll wasn’t very pronounced.

Could it be the dangerous creatures that ca here yesterday?

The beam of the flashlight traveled upward from the platform, casting a faint glow that illuminated the eerie concrete steps. This ancient subway station was enveloped in silence everywhere.

"No elevators here... this definitely isn’t the Tang Country," Lin Yue realized. It seed he had never been to a Secret Realm in the Tang Country, and moreover

"Gawu." Bai glanced upward, indicating no enemies, yet Lin Yue still equipped the M19 Pistol in his hand, while the three Little Ice Lizards following him moved beside his feet.

Stepping onto the first layer of steps, Lin Yue held the gun in one hand, shining the flashlight tilted upwards. In this eerie space, the atmosphere felt quite unnerving and terrifying.

However, the intense urge to explore the unknown and the desire to gain more resources suppressed this fear of darkness and silence, rendering it immobile.

The sound of his footsteps on the steps echoed throughout the station as Lin Yue breathed deeply and finally reached the upper level of the stairs.

Several turnstiles appeared ahead, alongside two vending machines covered in dust.

Below the vending machines, there were so black stains, but they had long dried, and on the dust-covered ground, Lin Yue also noticed several traces of dragging.

The flashlight’s beam followed the dragging direction, ultimately settling on a skeleton.

"A Survivor?" Lin Yue walked over, discovering it had been torn to shreds, with the head and torso separated from the bone structure, nurous scattered leg bones, and rib bones.

Dark red marks littered the ground, and Lin Yue didn’t need to guess what they were.

The Survivors had entered this Secret Realm, only to be pursued by monsters and et an unfortunate end.

Common occurrence.

Though not a trace of edible flesh remained, indeed, it was rare.

"This is..." Lin Yue unexpectedly discovered a large backpack lying not far from the side of the skeleton. Picking it up, he found it hadn’t been torn apart yet.

Opening this heavy backpack, he discovered so good stuff.

"Is this a mobile phone!"

Lin Yue withdrew a phone box he found inside, and upon opening it, incredibly, there was indeed a phone inside, a Fruit brand one at that. After identifying with the system, he found it was still functional.

Perhaps it had been in the box for a long ti, seeming undamaged. However, without a charger, opening it might pose a bit of a challenge...

Hm? All the items below are phone boxes too?

Lin Yue emptied all the contents of the backpack, only to find it contained nothing but phone boxes, yet nurous brands were represented, and upon weighing them, there seed to be contents inside!

He glanced at the skeleton on the ground, puzzled by the backpack full of phone boxes.

Why not store it in the Storage Space?

And what could these phones do in the Otherworld?

But now, the person had already beco a skeleton, and the Storage Space naturally no longer existed.

Storing all twenty-seven paper boxes into the Storage Space, Lin Yue pondered a question.

When Survivors die, if the Storage Space eventually disappears, where do the items within go? The system?

He shook his head, then collected the two nearby vending machines into the Storage Space, standing up again.

It was ti to move on.

Just like he had always done.
