At the end of the passage, there was a wooden door much larger than before.
However, to Lin Yue’s surprise, this wooden door did not have the complex and strange patterns of lines and circles that were carved on the previous doors.
As he closely examined it, he realized that while it wasn’t completely absent, it seed to have been worn away by sothing coarse.

This scent was different from the previous eerie fragrance; it wasn’t the sll of blood, nor was it a scent nurtured in the damp underground.

After pondering for a while, Lin Yue finally recalled what the sll was.
When he was young, he would often see people passing on the streets setting off firecrackers for weddings. He would collect those that hadn’t exploded successfully, break them in half, and gather the gunpowder, pouring it onto a newspaper.
Ultimately, he amassed a large pile, nearly ending up beaten to death after igniting it and almost burning down the orphanage’s toilet.
Reflecting back, Lin Yue suddenly sensed sothing was off.

Yet, after a brief period of ringing and dizziness, he realized that Bai had carried him far from the door, and Xiao ng was with him as well.
The flashlight in his hand hadn’t slipped from his grip, allowing him to see clearly in the passage where there were no torches.
"Bai! Are you alright?"
"Gawu!" Although Bai’s voice was not unusual, Lin Yue wasn’t reassured.
He quickly checked Bai for any injuries, finding it unscathed except for a small scratch on the edge of its wing, which delighted him.
"Bai, it’s great that you’re okay!" Lin Yue inspected it again before relaxing.
However, what was with the explosion just now?
The air was filled with the sll of gunpowder, echoes reverberated through the passage.
But the power didn’t seem too strong?
With his flashlight, Lin Yue looked overhead and found no imdiate threat of collapse; checking the area map, he noticed Bai had already moved them quite so distance, likely due to Bai’s skills.
However, Bai seed to have expended considerable energy with that.
"Bai, eat this first." Lin Yue took out the last three Snickers bars from Storage Space, unwrapped them, and placed them in Bai’s palm.
Though overly sweet, they were indeed useful for energy replenishnt.
Still in combat, they couldn’t pause for a big al, so he used this to boost Bai’s energy.
"Gawu!" The little fellow accepted enthusiastically, munching away.
Lin Yue began to plan the next attack strategy.
He truly hadn’t expected the Lizardn to have mastered gunpowder, even knowing how to ignite it.
Yet, they seed unaware that it shouldn’t be used underground.
If poorly controlled, it could instantaneously blow them up, or at best, cause a collapse of the Underground Ruins.
However, looking at the area map, the large room seed unchanged.
Evidently, the gunpowder wasn’t very powerful, only loud.
Still, sothing felt off.
Why would Stone Age Lizardn use gunpowder? It was illogical.
Plus, these Lizardn fear fire, even holding torches was surprising enough, yet gunpowder?
Could there be sothing inside I don’t know about?
Bai seed more spirited after consuming the Snickers.
It growled toward the direction of the large room, indicating to Lin Yue that the Lizardn weren’t killed by their own explosion.
Lin Yue thought and devised a plan: "Bai, have Xiao ng go in first to cause chaos, then we’ll charge in together for a sweep!"
He retrieved the Tactical Crossbow, and this ti opted against using Burning Arrows, fearing triggering unignited gunpowder.
"Puchi!" Xiao ng received the battle command, eagerly bounding toward that direction, while Lin Yue and Bai followed closely.
Soon, the Lizardn’s screams reached them, accompanied by the sounds of thrown projectiles.
Upon reaching the entrance, Lin Yue saw the large wooden door shattered beyond recognition, scattered across the ground, in a haze of gray-black.
Yet, the stone-carved door fra remained undamaged, rely blackened.
The air was thick with the sll of gunpowder, yet Lin Yue couldn’t afford to cover his nose; the room was bright with flas, allowing him to see clearly without a flashlight.
A group of Lizardn was chasing a silver light, darting around as they continually hurled weapons.
Seizing the opportunity, while none noticed him, Lin Yue targeted one and fired!
Accompanied by a cry, a Lizardman wearing wooden armor fell, alerting the others to Lin Yue at the door and abandoning their chase for Xiao ng, converging toward him.
Lin Yue imdiately grabbed the M19.

Through the infrared sight, without weapons due to chasing Xiao ng, the Lizardn appeared like moving targets, each succumbing to Lin Yue’s relentless shooting, transforming into corpses!
A clip spent, as Lin Yue reloaded, Bai charged ahead, its sharp claws and fangs effortlessly dispatching the remaining Lizardn, while Xiao ng targeted a Lizardman dressed in black, wielding a wooden staff!
That was the Lizardman Priest!
Seeing Lin Yue and Bai approaching, the Priest rushed toward the deepest part of the room.
But he could not outrun the flying Crossbow Arrow.
[You’ve obtained a Golden Treasure Chest!]
With the system’s prompt, the Lizardman Priest collapsed lifelessly.
"Finally over." Lin Yue rubbed his sore shoulder while Bai ensured no more enemies were present.
Picking up 6 Silver Treasure Chests, 7 Copper Treasure Chests, and this largest Golden Treasure Chest, Lin Yue suddenly realized sothing odd about the room.
"That side of the wall... what is carved on it??" He suddenly noticed that at the deepest part of the large room, there was a wall adorned with carvings!
