Chapter 52: The Threat of Mutated Zombies
On a floating island…
There were at least 100 zombie corpses piled up on said island, and among those were a few special ones.
For example, there was a huge zombie, at least 3 ters tall, and had greenish-gray skin that looked like a rock.
There was also a zombie with a kitchen knife. It looked like a middle-aged woman, but it was extrely ugly and ferocious.
There was also a Fire Launcher, which had caused quite a bit of trouble to Enoch.
These were all special zombie corpses!
These zombies were all dead now, and each one of them had a wound on their necks. Their heads were severed, but the last bit of skin on the back of their necks held them together, and they didn’t fall off.
This was an excellent level of swordsmanship. That person must possess rich combat experience and swordsmanship before becoming a Divine Tree Master!
A blond man in cold armor, who looked like a knight from the Middle Ages, was standing before the zombie corpses on this floating island. He was holding a longsword with exquisite patterns carved on the blade while attentively reading ssages in the chat channel.
This man was the one who had been appearing in front of all the Divine Tree Masters as the Salvation Alliance.
Moreover, he was the one who had killed all the zombies, using the sword in his hand!
“They are all ordinary people. There are even liars who want to get information from us. Can such a thod really win over strong people?” Ton muttered in confusion as if he was very unhappy with this thod.
Evidently, he was only following orders to do these things.
“Huh? I seem to see a familiar na.”
As Ton was muttering, thinking about how to fool these people who did not want to talk, he suddenly found a familiar na in his private ssage folder.
“Enoch? Isn’t that the fellow who cleared the dungeon first?” A smile appeared on his face. “That’s right! He should be one of those strong players!”
Enoch’s initiative to communicate seed to make Ton happy, and he even smiled.

After thinking for a mont, Ton understood that Enoch was lying.
He definitely wouldn’t have only explored 80% of an area.
However, Ton wasn’t angry because this was within their expectations. After all, the Salvation Alliance was an organization that had suddenly appeared, even though they proclaid they were doing everything in the na of the entire human race.
Not all Divine Tree Masters were idiots. There were quite a number of people who could see through the Salvation Alliance’s actual purpose. Thus, even if they wanted to probe the Salvation Alliance, they would definitely not tell the truth.
Naturally, the Salvation Alliance had long been prepared for this. They would not show too much of an emotional fluctuation because of Enoch’s lie. This was sothing they had already foreseen.
“As expected, those who are truly capable will be on guard against us, just as the leader predicted.”
With an expression of ‘as expected’, Ton nodded lightly.
It seed that there should be at least one more decision-maker above Ton.
Ton did not care so much. He imdiately sent a ssage back to Enoch.
“You’re so respectful, Mr. Enoch. I knew that a person like you would not rely entirely on luck to conquer the dungeon like they said.”
Enoch, who was waiting for Tor’s reply on his floating island, was stunned the mont he saw the ssage.
“What is he doing? Is he trying to chat with !?”
Enoch could not help but frown. He did not have much ti now. If Ton continued wasting his ti chatting with him like this, Enoch would imdiately close the private chat window.
“Thank you for your approval. I’m also very honored by this. I wonder what exactly you an by saying that the Netherworld will target us. I hope to get a clear answer. Thank you.”
Enoch suppressed the various guesses in his heart and sent another ssage to Ton.
Although this ssage didn’t state it clearly, Enoch believed that Ton should be able to feel his seriousness and satisfaction from this ssage. He also hoped that Ton would get the hint to stop beating around the bush, get to the point as soon as possible, and not waste his ti with aningless chit-chat.
Soon, Enoch received an answer from the other side.
Tor could sense Enoch’s dissatisfaction, so he imdiately shared everything he knew, not wasting their precious ti with chit-chat.
“Any Divine Tree Master that has explored 80% of a Netherworld area will be targeted by the Netherworld. When the exploration of an area reaches 100%, the Netherworld will lose control of that area, which will greatly weaken its power.
“Therefore, all Divine Tree Masters who have explored 80% of an area will be targeted by the Netherworld. Not only will a large number of zombies attack the Divine Tree Masters, but they will also send so powerful mutated zombies to try and kill those Divine Tree Masters.
“And once the hunt is successful, the Divine Tree Masters’ floating islands will beco the Netherworld’s property, increasing the Netherworld’s power. As such, the Netherworld will undoubtedly target those powerful Divine Tree Masters.”
As expected, this was sothing Enoch didn’t know!
Enoch imdiately frowned. Being targeted by the entire Netherworld was not a good thing.
Moreover, mutated zombies were a sign of danger!
He had only encountered mutated zombies once, but the level of danger was the greatest among all the zombies he had ever encountered!
“Thank you.”
Enoch sent a ssage before turning around and starting to contemplate his strategy.
One mutated zombie was not the main point. The main point was that many other zombies would move together with the mutated zombies. That was the most important matter.
“Lightning, get ready. We’re in danger now!”
