Chapter 49: The Infuriated Pea Shooters
“Since two kinds of zombies are attacking our floating island, it ans that there are two kinds of zombies in Maka Town as well,” Enoch muttered with a serious face.
He was analyzing these zombies as well as Maka Town’s present situation of Maka Town to prepare for his next move.
“Since my next target is to attack and occupy Maka Town, I will definitely encounter these zombies. The more information I have now, the better!”
Enoch was very clear about his goal and his way of action. He even had a basic plan for how each of his forces should act.
At present, the most pressing matter was to gather information about these zombies. Only in this way would Enoch have an easier ti during his next operation.
The Pea Shooters may have killed the Runners, but their deaths were not necessarily aningless. The other zombies had already advanced more than 200 ters and were slowly approaching Enoch.
This was a great improvent. During the first attack, the zombies had all been killed after entering the Pea Shooters’ range.
But now, thanks to the Runners’ delaying tactics, the Pea Shooters didn’t kill the zombies the mont they entered the range. Thus, this allowed them to get closer to Enoch.
This was a grave issue because it showed that the Pea Shooter’s combat strength was limited to a special zombie.
Hence, when facing the Fla Launchers, which were more dangerous than the Runners, could these Pea Shooters still maintain their current combat strength?
This was also what Enoch was curious about, and soon, he got the answer he wanted.
After dealing with all the Runners, the Pea Shooters began to attack the zombie horde. The pea bullets imdiately turned into green lines in the air, heading straight for the slow-moving zombies.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Continuous explosions sounded throughout the zombie horde, and 30 zombies collapsed on the ground in an instant.
The Pea Shooters had shot each zombie in the head, turning them into stiff and rotten corpses.
As these zombies fell to the ground, the danger level seed to decrease.
There were only about 50 zombies left. Judging from the number, the Pea Shooters only needed two rounds to kill these zombies.
However, Enoch didn’t think so.
At least 20 of these 50 zombies were Fla Launchers.
These fat and swollen zombies with dangerous flas in their mouths had been hiding in the depths of the zombie horde and didn’t show themselves.
Therefore, compared to the Runners, which had been wiped out, these Fla Launchers seed to be more powerful and smarter.
They used these low-level zombies to provide protection for themselves, so there were no casualties until now. They even relied on the cover of these zombies to continuously approach Enoch and the Pea Shooters.
“Lightning, get ready for battle!”
Enoch wasn’t sure if the Pea Shooters could kill these Fla Launchers under their attacks.
Enoch never liked uncertainty, so he imdiately got Lightning and the others ready. Once the Pea Shooters failed, the Berserk Rats would imdiately charge and tear these Fla Launchers into pieces!

After another round of shooting, the Pea Shooters eliminated all the low-level zombies. The only ones still standing were the special Fla Launchers.
Unexpectedly, the Peas shooters had hit two Fla Launchers, but they didn’t die on the spot. Instead, they kept moving forward. If it weren’t for the bloody hole with pus on their foreheads, Enoch would have been unable to tell that the Pea Shooters had hit the two Fla Launchers.
Seeing the Fla Launchers advancing, the Pea Shooters wanted to continue shooting and kill them all.
But when the Pea Shooters spat out their pea bullets, the Fla Launchers also opened their mouths and spat out blazing flas.
The mont the scarlet flas appeared, the air of the entire floating island seed to beco hot.
Enoch felt the moisture in the air rapidly evaporate, leaving only heat. Even the air he breathed was dry and hot.
It could be seen just how fierce the flas of these Fla Launchers were.
Most importantly, these flas seed to have a restraining effect on the pea bullets.
The power was much weaker after the pea bullets entered the fire, although they could still directly pierce through the flas and land on the Fla Launchers. So of the pea bullets were reduced to half of their original size.
These Fla Launchers were like flathrowers, spitting flas as they approached the Pea Shooter and Enoch.
It was as if they had already surrounded Enoch, slowly tightening the encirclent and one step away from capturing Enoch in one fell swoop.
“Looks like it’s ti for you to make our move.”
Enoch did not look worried at all as he gazed at the advancing Fla Launchers.
In fact, he still looked very relaxed and casual.
He didn’t care about the existence of these Fla Launchers at all. He just looked at Lightning with a smile on his face.
Next, Lightning and the mischief of Berserk Rats would have to act together.
Honestly, Enoch was elated with these Pea Shooters’ combat strength. After all, Enoch’s initial expectation for these Pea Shooters was to be able to deal with so low-level zombies.
The Pea Shooters being able to defeat the special zombies was already an outco that satisfied Enoch.
So now, Enoch planned to let Lightning take action. This wasn’t because he was disappointed in the Pea Shooters but rather a satisfied attitude.
But from the Pea Shooters’ perspective, it seed that Enoch, their master, was disappointed in them.
As such, these Pea Shooters, which had very simple emotions, were imdiately infuriated.
Soon, a hue of red appeared on each Pea Shooter’s green body, as well as on the pea bullets they spat out.
These pea bullets, which contained the Pea Shooters’ anger, directly penetrated the wall of flas in front of them and heavily hit the Fla Launchers!
