Chapter 1465: Chapter 1034: Engagent
Fang Hao first spoke softly, introducing the titles and ranks of the four individuals to the Dragon Queen.
For her, managing to gather four gods together only elicited a slight hint of surprise.
Fang Hao’s gaze returned to those four.
He said, “Elf God, isn’t this a bit much? You brought all these people here. Aren’t you afraid that if I head back now, they’ll rember the coordinates of your Divine Territory? Then it’ll be you who’s in danger.”
The Elf God didn’t get angry. With a faint smile, he said, “After all, the deaths of the God of Orcs and the God of Trolls are connected to you. Naturally, I need to be cautious.”
If this had happened two months ago, perhaps the news wouldn’t have reached the other gods yet.
But having been trapped in the Overlapping Space for over two months, with the Elf Clan’s advanced intelligence network, it was inevitable they’d learn quite a bit.
This morning, negotiating with in the Elf Palace and luring back and forth was likely all part of stalling for ti to discuss strategies with these gods.
“So, you set everything up and waited for to co?” Fang Hao continued to ask.
“Indeed, I was waiting for you to co in person. After all, I wasn’t entirely sure if you were a transmigrator or so old god weaving a conspiracy. Now that your identity is confird, I must admit, I am quite surprised,” replied the Elf God.
“You’re much smarter than the others,” Fang Hao first complinted, then continued, “But was this really necessary? The Trolls’ Domain, Orcs’ Domain, and Undead Territory are all under my control now. If you joined my Divine Alliance and established shrines in each region, wouldn’t that be a win-win decision? Why resort to all this violence?”
The other three gods, besides the Elf God, remained sowhat silent.
They had learned a little information themselves, but nowhere near as detailed as that collected by the Elf Clan.
The Elf God smiled faintly and said, “Shall I take that as you pleading for rcy? I much preferred your arrogant deanor in the mortal Royal Palace.”
Fang Hao ignored him, turning his gaze to the other gods. “God of the Moon, the Elf Clan exiled the Night Elves, casting them out into wandering desolation, and yet here you are helping them. Why?”
The God of the Moon – Sahani, with her violet skin, alluring figure, and long silvery-gray hair tucked behind an ear, exuded an exotic charm.
The distinctive traits of the Dark Elves were quite apparent.
Moreover, several Dark Elves recruited into his lands had openly worshipped the God of the Moon, indicating she was clearly aligned with their divine interests.
Perhaps the reason the Elf Clan hadn’t entirely eradicated the Dark Elves was due to her divine presence.
The God of the Moon’s eyes flickered, but she said nothing, silently standing off to the side.
Fang Hao then looked at the other two. “And you—one a scholar, the other an adventurer—why ddle in this? Aren’t you afraid of losing your lives and falling off your divine pedestals? If you’re willing to leave now, I promise to let bygones be bygones.”
Hahaha!
The Elf God burst into hearty laughter, saying, “Those words of yours might work on ordinary mortals, but trying to persuade us gods the sa way? That’s nothing short of delusional.”
“Your laugh is anything but elegant,” Fang Hao shot back.
“And your words and attire are even less so,” the Elf God retorted, his face darkening.
“Your outfit is uglier…” Fang Hao didn’t bother wasting any more words. Turning to his side, he commanded, “Kill them!”
As his words fell, the Dragon Queen shot into the air, instantly transforming into a massive golden dragon that blotted out the sky and lunged toward the four gods.
The four of them simultaneously turned their gazes skyward, fixating on the enormous dragon.
Their bodies began summoning their Divinity, preparing for an attack.
“What are you all staring at?”
Suddenly, a voice sounded behind the four gods.
Startled, their gazes snapped back to the front, only to find that Fang Hao was no longer there.
Just as they were about to turn and strike back—
A fist smashed directly into the Elf God’s head.
Bang!
A dull thud resounded as a shockwave, as powerful as a nuclear blast, erupted, kicking up a dust storm that engulfed the heavens.
The four gods were blown backward simultaneously, their figures appearing utterly disheveled.
The Elf God’s neck twisted like a corkscrew before slowly realigning. In a raspy voice, he said, “He’s stronger than we thought. ‘Ogma,’ help handle him.”
The God of Knowledge nodded, pivoting to join forces with the Elf God.
anwhile, the God of the Moon and the Adventure God used their montum from being blown away to charge directly toward the golden dragon in the sky.
Clearly, their plan was to weaken the Divinity supporting Fang Hao’s power through the dragon. If they could kill the dragon, they could return together to overpower Fang Hao.
…
The Elf God adjusted his position rapidly in mid-air.
Heh!
With a low exhale, a golden longsword materialized out of thin air by his side, shooting forward like a piercing arrow. In the blink of an eye, it collided with Fang Hao’s World-Ending Battle Axe.
The clash of tal sent sparks flying, illuminating the entire space montarily.
Amidst the explosion of sparks, Fang Hao’s figure continued its exaggerated pursuit with unrelenting speed, unimpeded by anything.
A hint of apprehension flickered in the Elf God’s eyes.
With a sudden clench of his hand, the rebounding golden longsword shattered into nurous golden daggers, which shot toward their target from all directions.
But Fang Hao, having inherited the Giant’s legacy, had reached terrifying levels of battlefield experience and combat skill.
Without halting his advance, he swung the World-Ending Battle Axe with ghostly precision, its afterimages clashing against the incoming golden daggers.
Even amidst such dense attacks, it seed as though every movent had been calculated. Not a single dagger could pass through the axe’s residual shadows.
“Corrion, your body can’t move quickly enough,” Fang Hao remarked briskly as he closed the distance.
The Elf God, trying to create space, hesitated mid-step, his expression once again colored with fear.
Just then, the ‘God of Knowledge’ arrived on cue from the other side with trendous speed.
Although the Elf God’s attacks had failed to inflict harm, they had successfully bought valuable ti.
“Feel the power of knowledge!” declared the God of Knowledge as radiant light surged around him.
The sky darkened ominously.
Eight enormous, towering bookshelves descended from above, forming a cage that tightly encased Fang Hao within.
Rattle-rattle-rattle!!
The deafening sound of overlapping pages echoed all around.
The books on the shelves flipped open frantically, and the writing on them seed to shimr and shift across their surfaces.
The next mont, an unfathomable surge of magical energy erged from the shelves.
Fang Hao’s eyes widened, as he stared in astonishnt at the rapidly turning pages.
Whoosh~ Zzzzt!
A piercing sound erupted from the left.
As Fang Hao glanced leftward, a massive lightning column surged out from an open book.
With a casual swing of his battle axe, Fang Hao cleaved the lightning column apart.
Whoosh~ Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh!
In the next instant, countless similar sounds burst forth from all directions.
Surveying his surroundings—
Each open book unleashed chaotic forces: torrents of blazing fire, volleys of dense arrows, or swarms of vengeful spirits.
Fang Hao felt as though he were trapped in a magical prison.
From every direction, innurable powerful magical attacks ca surging toward him.
