Lucas walked towards the large window that looked out over the castle. In the distance, he could see the glow of fire from the enemy territory—a Lord nad Marcus who had sent spies into his territory a few days ago. Lucas’ eyes narrowed, a sadistic plan beginning to form in his mind.
"We shall teach our overly curious neighbors a lesson," Lucas said as he clenched his fists. "But before that... I wish to test how far our new power can go."

"Perfect timing," Lucas muttered as he read the system ssage. He turned to face Selena, and for the first ti, the vampire saw a glint of pure madness in her master’s eyes.
"Selena, gather our Death Knights. Tonight we hunt."
Selena smiled—a smile that chilled the air around them. "With pleasure, My King. It’s been a long ti since I felt fresh blood flowing between my fingers."
In a matter of minutes, the Night Crypt was a hive of deadly activity. Death Knights gathered in the courtyard, their black armor gleaming in the moonlight. Skeleton Archers took up positions in the towers, and Wraiths began to spread out in every direction like a deathly mist.
Lucas stood on the main balcony, looking down on his deadly army. The new power coursing through him made him feel like a true god of death. He could feel every unit under his command, could control them with a re thought.
"Marcus," Lucas whispered his enemy’s na into the night air, "I hope you’re ready to die."
As they prepared to depart, Selena approached Lucas with delicate steps. The Vampire Queen knelt down and took Lucas’ hand in hers, kissing it gently. But there was sothing different in her kiss—sothing darker, more dangerous.
"My King," she whispered in a voice that held a promise of violence, her red eyes gleaming with fearful anticipation, "shall I begin killing?"
Lucas looked down at Selena, who was still kissing his hand, then up at Marcus’ territory glowing in the distance. A sadistic smile spread across his lips, and for a mont, even the darkness of the night seed brighter than the darkness in his soul.
