Sunny sat upon his throne, his mind a flurry of thoughts, the thoughts about the future, the thoughts about gaining more power, the thoughts about ruling the infinite.

The discovery of the Arcana power system, the magic of Cards, was a potential revolution.

He had seen glimpses of power systems during the ancient war between the Old Gods and Demons, but those had been flashes of violence, observed from a distance. He knew what they did, but not how they worked.

With rlin, however, it was different. He had the mories, the mories which were visible to Sunny like an open book.

’Thea can manifest the materials,’ Sunny mused. ’We have the resources. We have the formulas. We could easily turn a billion lifeforms into Card Masters’

’But simply copying is the path of a novice. I am the Emperor. If I am to adopt this path, I must master its very foundation’

"If you know so much..." rlin’s voice cut through Sunny’s thoughts, the young demigod still grappling with the reality of his situation.

"Then you should know that there are already twenty-two Gods in the Multiverse of Arcana. Twenty-two beings who have touched the apex. You cannot possibly hope to take over an entire multiverse alone."

Sunny looked down at the young demigod, a faint, amused smile hidden behind his mask. "Alone? Who said I am alone?"

He leaned forward, his voice dropping to a whisper that rumbled through the hall. "I have six billion Gods under my command. I would only need to send a hundred to bring your multiverse to its knees."

rlin went pale. The scale was impossible to comprehend.

’This plan is currently... not feasible though. The Demon Lords are watching. An invasion would draw eyes I do not wish to attract yet." Sunny thought internally, but didn’t explain it to rlin.

He waved his hand dismissively. "But that is for later. For now, you are free. Go. Explore the City of Gods. See what our civilization looks like."

rlin hesitated, then bowed. He turned to leave, his mind a whirl of confusion and awe.

As rlin walked away, Sunny activated his God’s Eye with the mixture of his ti affinity.

He didn’t look at rlin’s stats this ti. He looked deeper, piercing the veil of the present to look at the threads that bound the soul from past.

He saw a robust thread of gold connecting rlin not to a place, but to a person. It stretched out of the palace, winding through the city, and connected directly to the soul of Adam.

"I knew it," Sunny whispered. "The resemblance, the intuition, the sheer quantity of luck required to survive those ruins..."

"He is the reincarnation of the God of Cards. Adam will be happy to know that one of his brothers-in-arms has found his way back to him through the currents of Fate."

He deactivated the eye. "I suspect the others will reach here soon, too. Fate has a way of correcting itself."

Sunny sat alone in the silence of his throne room. The imdiate problem of rlin was solved, but the larger issue remained.

He needed to expand. He needed to conquer. Not for land, but for knowledge.

To beco the God of Infinity, the being who encompassed all paths, he needed to master every power system in existence.

’I can create a subspace universe for the Card system,’ he thought. ’But my understanding of its Laws is shallow. I have the bricks, but not the entire blueprint. To create a stable universe for it, I need to see how the original was built.’

He nodded to himself. "I need to go back."

He stood up. The aura he had been suppressing to keep rlin from fainting was released.

BOOM.

The star-forged floor of the palace groaned. The space within the throne room trembled, cracks appearing in the air like spiderwebs on glass.

Sunny didn’t care. He raised his hands, and his SS-Grade Ti Affinity flared to life.

It wasn’t like the last ti. Back then, he was a newbie burning faith points to force his way upstream. Now, he was a master.

His soul was pulled from his body, sucked into a familiar vortex. He arrived above the River of Ti.

The last ti he was here, the river had been a murky, filled with torn up mories of the past, threatening to sweep him away.

But now? It was crystal clear. It was wide, deep and majestic. He could see the currents of history flowing like a river.

’Is it because of my breakthroughs?’ Sunny wondered. ’Or because I am now a Chosen one of the void, the void which originated everything?’

He began to walk backward, against the flow. Previously, every step had cost him millions of faith points. But now... he felt nothing. He wasn’t burning faith. He was burning Mana.

And his mana was infinite.

Thanks to the synergy between Ember, the Phoenix, and Veylara, the World Tree, Sunny possessed a mana regeneration rate that defied logic.

He was using the talents of both the Demigods. He could pour mana into the Ti Law forever, and his reserves would never run dry.

He walked through the river. He walked past the wars of the Old Gods. He moved with the ease of a man strolling through his own garden.

"Finally," Sunny murmured, his voice echoing in the tistream. "I don’t need to rely on faith for everything. So, this is how a God of Laws feels. This is why they are above the Gods of Faith."

However, as he walked, a new limitation beca apparent. If he tries to activate his God’s Eye to peer into the mories of so powerful Gods like Edgar or Adam.

His mana reserves would empty instantly.

He had infinite mana regeneration, but his capacity, regeneration and output speed were still limited by his SS-Grade vessel.

Using an overpowered ability like God’s Eye required a burst of energy so massive that mana simply couldn’t be channeled fast enough.

It was like trying to drain an ocean through a straw. For those monts, he still needed Faith.

"What a headache," Sunny sighed, he needed to quickly breakthrough to SSS-Grade mage, as only then he will be able to use mana for absolutely everything.

But that breakthrough... that was the problem.

He had spent decades in the God-Maker realm via his clones. They had studied. They had ditated. They had theorized. But still they were stuck.

’You cannot learn how to swim by reading a book,’ Sunny realized. ’And you cannot comprehend the SSS-Grade Laws of the universe by sitting in a closed box.’

His clones needed practical experience. They needed to fight beings who wielded laws they didn’t understand.

A resolve settled over him."When I return, I will let them roam the multiverse and fight the demons Gods"
