The grain storage area was ho to a number of cylindrical stone warehouses with arched tops.

Now, General kron was leading Su Yu and his team northward towards the main entrance.

Anduin then asked in surprise, “General kron, can we not collect grain from these warehouses we are passing by? Must we walk such a long distance?”
“Certainly, Chairman,” General kron courteously grinned. “The grain in the warehouses has to go through a strict inspection and drying process. The warehouses in the back contain mostly old grain, surely we can’t offer spoiled grain to Nesis, right?”
“That’s a fair point,” Anduin nodded and didn’t question further.
Seeing Anduin so easily appeased brought a sigh of relief from General kron.
His refusal to take grain from the warehouses at the back had nothing to do with it being old grain. After all, the agreent didn’t specify that the grain couldn’t be spoiled, and he would’ve been more than happy to give the Goldfinch’s people old grain.
The truth was, he didn’t dare to take grain from the warehouses at the back.
While these warehouses appeared to be full, it was rely a facade. Only a thin top layer was actually grain.
To give an example, let’s use a standard grain warehouse near him.
The warehouse was 13.5 ters high, theoretically filled with 10 ters worth of grain.

Simultaneously, kron uttered a silent prayer of thankfulness.

“I appreciate it,” Su Yu responded warmly, nodding to General kron and stepping into the warehouse.
General kron wasn’t lying, the warehouse was indeed stocked with freshly harvested grains.
Without any hesitation, Su Yu started putting the grain into his necklace.
General kron stood by Su Yu’s side, keeping a record of how much grain was being collected.
With each bag of grain loaded into the necklace, Su Yu’s mission log quickly updated.

The task progress surged visibly.
After emptying out an entire warehouse, Su Yu’s mission progress increased to 22%!

Then Sylvanas, who had been cold and silent throughout, asked, “I forgot to ask you. Nesis, when are we going to the [Hall of Rebirth]? And when are we going to the Wind Chi Empire to find [Yorick the Soul Shepherd]?”
“Well…” Su Yu gave it so thought.
He checked his ga panel and saw that his gaming ti for the day was almost used up.
So, he replied, “Let’s plan to go to the [Hall of Rebirth] in half a month. I need so ti to prepare… As for [Yorick the Soul Shepherd], the best ti would be when our two countries’ armies have officially invaded the Wind Chi Empire and drawn their main forces’ attention.”
“Agreed! I’ll co to the Goldfinch Empire to find you in half a month,” Sylvanas said calmly.
At the sa ti, Su Yu received a notification for a triggered mission.
“Ding! Triggered epic level campaign mission: [Covert Infiltration into Hall of Rebirth].”
“Mission requirents: Accompany Sylvanas on a covert infiltration into the Hall of Rebirth and assist her in plundering high-quality cursed souls. Mission Progress 0%.”
“Mission rewards: Random rewards based on task completion.”
Then, Sylvanas turned into a wisp of black mist and flew out of the warehouse, “I’ll go ahead. Nesis, I look forward to working with you.”
Before Su Yu and the others could respond, the black mist transford Sylvanas disappeared into the horizon.
