Chapter 1602: 1490, “Test Subject
“What a bold idea!” Su Yu exclaid.
His spiritual power descended, quickly scanning the continent below.
Before long, he found the “experintal subject.”
The “experintal subject” was located inside a skyscraper over 3,000 ters tall.
However, this building was unlike the others. While other buildings teed with hundreds of thousands of intelligent beings, this one housed only a few hundred.
Apart from these few hundred individuals, the entire skyscraper was eerily empty. Furthermore, the few hundred present appeared to be attendants, seemingly serving the “experintal subject.”
At the center of the skyscraper was an enormous cavity, within which lay a massive laboratory filled with densely packed equipnt.
The “experintal subject” rested in a small pool at the center of the laboratory.
The pool was only about a dozen square ters — tiny compared to the vast, open space surrounding it.
The “experintal subject” wore no clothing and was imrsed in a milky-white solution glowing faintly with golden light. With just one glance, Su Yu identified it as highly compressed spiritual energy mixed with an array of precious heavenly treasures.
What stood out most was that the “experintal subject” turned out to be Human Race!
“I never expected it to be a human girl!” Su Yu couldn’t help but exclaim aloud.
Hearing Su Yu’s words, Cat Morning Star’s ears imdiately perked up. She quickly asked, “What human girl?”
“Take a look.” Su Yu visualized his spiritual power into a tangible display, forming an image.
The image depicted the interior of the laboratory. Morning Star gazed at the image and saw, at its center, a small pool where a Human Race female lay soaking, her eyes closed.
The appearance of the Human Race female was remarkably similar to Blue Star Humans; facially, her resemblance to Blue Star Humans was over 99%!
However, there were distinct differences: her skin was deep red, her limbs extraordinarily thick and strong — roughly 1.5 tis the size of a normal Blue Star female. Additionally, the ends of her limbs bore rows of fine, dense scales.
Judging solely by appearance, this Human Race female looked to be only sixteen or seventeen years old, similar to Tina.
But her actual age was hard to pinpoint. After all, to cultivate to the Eighth Rank, anyone other than Su Yu — who was instantly elevated — would require thousands of years of refinent, even if they were the top geniuses of their star system.
Seeing the image, Cat Morning Star’s whiskers twitched. “She really is a human girl… wait a second!”
She extended a paw and tapped Su Yu’s shoulder. “Although she appears young, her actual age must make her old enough to be your great-great-grandmother!”
“Actual age? Hmph!” Su Yu scoffed dismissively. “In the Holy Silver Civilization, strength is the sole determinant of status. I am stronger than her, so if I call her a young girl, she’s a young girl! Wait a mont…”
Su Yu’s spiritual power swept around the red-skinned girl, rapidly grasping the details of her surroundings within a radius of several hundred square kiloters.
After his scans, Su Yu discovered this was no small Human Race community.
The other lifeforms in the skyscraper, much like the red-skinned girl, also had red skin, dense scales, and robust limbs.
In nearby buildings outside the skyscraper, the majority of inhabitants were similarly red-skinned Humans, accounting for over 80% of the population. Clearly, this was a large Human Race tribe.
Su Yu shared his findings with Morning Star.
Morning Star imdiately speculated, “A Human Race community? The Crystal Blue Intelligent Machines truly intend to cultivate a Human Race individual to the Planet-level?”
“Perhaps this is our race’s advantage,” Su Yu hypothesized. “In the Holy Silver Federation, the Human Race is a dominant species; the sa goes for the Singer Civilization — the Singer Human Race is also a central species in the entire super galaxy cluster.
Maybe our inherent advantages as a race influenced the Crystal Blue Intelligent Machines to select Humans as experintal subjects… Holy Song, am I correct in my speculation?”
At the end of his sentence, Su Yu asked Holy Song.
“Your speculation is entirely correct,” Holy Song’s voice echoed. “Human Race indeed possesses unparalleled advantages in cultivation, which is precisely why the Crystal Blue Intelligent Machines made this choice… If all proceeds as expected, this ‘experintal subject’ will soon achieve a breakthrough, reaching the Planet-level within a few months.”
Su Yu’s eyes lit up. “Sothing like this happening right in front of us? We absolutely have to check it out!”
He turned to the cat perched on his shoulder. “Morning Star, return to the pet space — we’re going down to take a look!”
“Huh? Are we really going?” Morning Star blinked in surprise. “Wasn’t our goal for this trip to locate Holy Song’s core data? This doesn’t seem connected at all.”
They were rely observers, detachedly monitoring this Colonized Star’s situation. Why was Su Yu suddenly interested in getting involved?
Still, Morning Star wouldn’t question Su Yu’s decisions lightly. Obediently, she leapt into the pet space.
Su Yu vanished in a flash, heading straight for the continent’s center below.
As he descended, he communicated ntally with Morning Star. “It’s true this has little direct relation to Holy Song’s core data, but this ‘experintal subject’ might hold opportunities we can leverage.”
The ntal communication had barely ended, yet Su Yu had already arrived at a large city on the ground.
This city was situated remarkably close to the “experintal subject,” only a few dozen kiloters away.
